I'm here, I'm here! I posted my RP bits in the Revres thread, but when nobody posed after me, I understandably went quiet.
As I'm not really given to just hanging out and vegging in a room with others, one cannot note that I look in on things every day to try and keep abreast.
Yes, I've not put up any art lately for my bit in heading the art position, but as there have been no requests/need for such, I simply ceased to do so. Creativity can only go so far without impetus.
No matter, I AM HERE. smile As far as 'what do i want' goes... A bit of RP now and again, a tetch of fun chatter at times.
Activity can be cyclical, I believe. It's tough not to feel awful about the state of things, I understand, Wielder, but keep on trying. *hugs*

If you want to RP, then begin posting in the active RP threads. You can see that we aren't going to be taking people's word for it anymore. This guild really needs to take an active stance if it wants to stand up and flourish again. Go to RP Haven and post in Storms of Madness or make your own RP, then get others to join you there. Notify your other members.
If you aren't actively RPing in this guild, you need to start, or you're going to have to reapply to join the guild once we're done with our revisions.
Please note that this is a general statement, and directed at no one in particular.

As for the Revres bit, I will attempt to get back on the ball for that. I just have not decided how to react to Mai leaving and Lier jumping in after her, when Karma intended it as a quick way to make Mai disappear permanently.

Bah. Want to know what I want Wielder? I want to have a computer again. I'm tired of only getting five seconds on in the morning, and occasionally once a week in the afternoon.
But of course, you can do nothing about that, so be more specific when asking people what they want.
Alright, regardless of my personal ranting, I am grounded for grades again *shock and awe.* Like this crap doesn't already happen every year? Anyways, despite this, my activity should actually increase.
Don't ask how that works, I couldn't tell you without a lengthy explanation.
As for all you debating about having Darius return, I have his alternate account written down somewhere, but I don't feel like bothering him about the guild. At least, not until it's finished. and we actually start the tournament. (Cause I'm sure he'll want in on that. He doesn't need the gold, I know, but he likes to roleplay.)

Hey guys,
Sorry I was a bit of a douchebag about things.
I wanted to be a mercenary, not a military soldier. And I wanted to role-play here, with all of you, all the time. I wanted to be a part of a close group of friends, and if I wasn't so stupid I might let myself be a part of it. That's it.
Also, I wanted to talk to you guys about this reboot. And I promise I'll try to keep the length of my posts and the cold tone to a minimal as much as possible. More importantly, I wanted to ask a few particular questions to the members and Crew who are active, starting with;
Why does the League have to go big, member-wise?

having only read wielders first post i would like to comment i joined years ago becuse i wanted to learn to go to rps in forums instead of games, now i am here trying to get people into games again haha... i want people to rp on both plains xD plus its good advertising in games for older rpers

I don't believe it has so much to do with going big as it does increasing activity. Having another twenty to fifty base members certainly wouldn't hurt, especially if they're good, literate RPers who are pro-active in the guild.
I don't want the guild to balloon up and be huge, to the point that no one knows anyone else and we're more numbers than faces. I want there to be a steady pool of talent here that will play within the guild, and bring us play elsewhere.

well asi was saying. older rpers i know people who have been rping for 6 years and want a steady guild to settle in for rping but i wont recomend here until i am absolutly sure the guild is turning around.

King, it would be best if you didn't advertise our parlor threads at all. We want all of our new members to be joining GML to RP, no exceptions. Selling them on how great parlor activity it is will only increase parlor activity and be detrimental to getting RP fully active again.
In regards to your veteran RP friends, now would be a good time to invite them. If they are really so experienced, I am sure they would fit in here, and might prove very useful to the guild in this stage of development. Besides, helping the guild at this stage is sure to provide a wealth of promotions and accolades to those members who step up to the plate and prove exemplary.
In regards to missions, I have always enjoyed them. I think they're very fun and a unique take on the RP community here. I do, however, think that missions ALWAYS Work best when more than one GML member is involved. People that have to go off and do solo missions miss out on the fun of working cooperatively with the other mercenaries, and growing that bond between our members while also satisfying their external RP needs is CRUCIAL if we want Missions to really succeed at what we intend for them.

Ferregar: I agree with you on King's friends. At the very least, show them a link and say we're trying to reboot, and could use RP'ers like that.
Now, on missions, I completely agree. It's a wonderful idea. If we had the proper member base, it would even be possible to succeed in doing Missions in Barton Town, while maintaining the Haven, and Revres, actively.
What do you think of the Departments and the Armeekorp Ranks?

If anyone hasn't yet realized it, Notasuperhero is actually Darius. So, give his words some weight.
So, things for me to say.
Revres is pretty dead, guys. I'm gonna set up a new Guild RP.
Quick vote: Do you want Zombies, Demons, or Powered-up Humans like most of our characters, as the enemy? Personally, I'm partial to the Zombie one. In my head, I'm thinking a few of us drop into a city overrun by Zombies, and try to find a way to destroy them. We have a preventative serum (Read: Vaccine) so we can't get infected, though death is always possible. Probably zombies of the Left 4 Dead variety.
Thanks for the Hug, Zari. Also, we no longer need any art. Not right now, at least. I'll keep you updated. For now, just focus on immediate guild assistance.
I still don't know what you guys want out of the guild.
Darius, the League has to go big because that would be awesome. Being as well known as 4chan (Preferably for different reasons.) would be epic as all hell. But Ferr is right, this isn't about going big, this is about staying alive (Cue 80's music).
On the topic of going big though, I mostly want the League to be self-sufficient, where we don't have to actively advertise ourselves, people just know us, and know how awesome we are, and want to join us. They take care of everything, and it all becomes automatic, like a living system.
Obseen, we can get such RP's flowing again, but it's pretty tough to fly a jumbo jet on one engine. And please, don't sell people too much on the parlor. It's part of the guild, not the entire guild. Yes, it's a good thing. But it's not the ONLY good thing.
Solo missions are something that I try to keep from happening. They are bad. BAD. BAD BAD BAD. NEGATIVE. DETRIMENTAL. OTHER SYNONYMS. Group missions = good, solo missions = death. Ferr has more or less summed up why.
That should be it. Remember, I want to know what you want in a guild RP, and in a guild overall. Tell me. Dammit.
EDIT: Armeekorps is something that serves little purpose, but I personally don't want to get rid of it. It's a passive thing, that I wouldn't consider problematic.
Departments have been tried, and have failed. I hereby close all departments, officially, until such a time as we have manpower enough to run them with success, without sacrificing Roleplayers and other necessary materials and resources.
