Still, after finals I want to get back into editing.

I am on break now and things are looking a tad bit up.
I want to sit down with my first chapter and maybe even go back and do a freewrite about what I actually wanted to do with it. Take some in depth time to look it over.
I shall decide on a time line by Sunday I believe :3

I just realize Christmas is in six or so days :0
Hard to imagine I'll even be allowed to write on the day, so may have to wait until afterward. But I do wish to at least being on the first chapter by New Years Day.
Where that goes...I have no idea.
We'll give it until the sixth of January. I go back to college on the fifth.

Hmm yeah, didn't work out so well.
But anyway. Been hired, so to speak, to write something for a friend, so that is what I'm currently working towards. Looking to possibly have my idea fleshed out by next weekend if not have the whole thing completed.
It's looking to be 1k+ words and sort of an introspective piece with hinting of romance. Romance is not something I'm versed in, so it's a learning experience too.

Said project is up to three episodes, and has already topped 10k words.
Still going on strong too.
Perhaps I should set goals on this thing. His goal is 100 stories. I wonder if I can match that? I suppose we'll see. Only about 97 more to go ;p

Halfway - fifty-one pages - through ScriptFrenzy and finally done with this behemoth that was Duality. 26.6k words and forty-eight pages, thirty-four of which were written in April.
'Tis sort of stressful cranking out work at this rate, but also very rewarding. Should start episode five up tomorrow. Hoping for a ten page weekend :]

Oh if it weren't for my ignorant barnacle of a brother this weekend would be going so nicely...
Got a good deal of homework done then started to write. It came a lot easier to me today and I am in the process of writing page five of episode five. Considering I'm still in the first scene, I might either need to separate the topics into separate episodes or forever sacrifice the 3.5k general limitation.
It's been weeks since I've written anything of that length. Everything after that point has gone higher. Of course, I NEVER want something like Duality again. Trying to keep all the scenes straight and watching the word count go up made that episode just draaaag.

The way I was planning to go with CP (rather, figuring it out as I went) didn't go so well. It was getting too convoluted and I felt like I wasn't revealing enough of the world and things. So I've decided that I need to go back to the drawing board and revise things.
Currently I'm stopping on Juxtaposition Part Five. Episodes may be edited, reworked and changed to varying degrees. This next week is all about figuring out how that's going to work - and maybe even more time after that if things don't work out.
But I don't think it's impossible. I've already got a few fledgling ideas that splintered off from what I'd originally wanted to do. So I'm going to go work with that a little now ^^

At least, you're going back to the drawing board rather than simply giving up on it. And the part you got stuck on with not sharing enough info about the world is something I'm familiar with. I tend to either give too much detail or not enough.

Thanks :3 And indeed...though I'm close to strangling myself with this outline, despite how coherent it's turning out. Figure it might take me close to a month to get back to where I was, with what I'm figuring out I would like to add/set up in previous episodes. Well, least I'll have something to do over the summer.

The outline took about a week though I gave the main story breathing room.
I had about 80k worth of writing done on this all ready. A month might be pushing it, with all the new stuff I'm putting into the first arc. We'll see though.
