Kithara sat beside the fox she was currently caring for, her tail wrapped around the black and white vixen as she slept. She hadn't moved from her spot since she had first fallen asleep, which was about two hours ago. The sound of soft breathing from the vixen was reassuring, she was healing well from her recent illness, thanks to Kithara's herbs. Now, all she had to do was rest. The air was silent, the only sound was the water trickling past the Holding Area, where the sick were rested. The vixen had been with Kithara for about two weeks and had been healthy for awhile, though Kithara hadn't let her roam about just yet. Not until she was sure she was completely healed. She knew the vixen's eyesight would never return, but hopefully she'd lose that dreadful cough she had been harboring long after the other symptoms of her illness had gone away.
Kithara had little to amuse herself with these days. Every since the Higher Being had spoken to her she had known her fate. She was to stay here and revive the long lost Yasashii tribe, and yet, how was she supposed to do that? Already she had Amy, the vixen that was sleeping against her, but who else did she have? There was Nitya, her sister who she had cared for when they were younger and Nitya had become injured by a boar. She could always offer this place to her. Though, she didn't know what was in the future. She didn't even know why she was chosen for this task. She was still young, why her? Though, she trusted Dahlia, the Higher Being of Yasashii, having accepted her words and stepped up to the role given to her. She would try her hardest to prevail, even if it meant she died trying. Amy stirred against her elder-to-be, dull and sightless eyes flicking open despite the fact she didn't need them. A cough escaped her throat, feeling the pressure beside her move. A paw touched hers, a leaf rolled up was slipped into her paw. She could feel the paste inside, probably something to help with her cough. Kithara had been feeding this to her for the past three days and already her cough was lightening up. She ate the bitter medicine, even if she didn't want to. She would do anything for Kithara, a female that had saved her life and in return Amy had devoted hers to her. During a time that Amy had no one, where she was ridden with disease and losing her sigh rapidly, Kithara had approached her and rescued her. As payment she joined Kithara's side.
Though, sometimes she worried she was holding the female back. Kithara should be out looking for new members, but instead she usually was helping Amy around. She didn't want to hold her back, she wanted to help. She wanted to assist her.
"How long have I been sleeping?" She questioned softly, ears flicking as she heard a bird pass by. Her hearing had improved greatly.
"Not to long, maybe a hour or two." Kithara smiled down at Amy, even if Amy couldn't see it. She knew the warmth in her words would reassure the fox, and it did. Amy nodded, moving off of Kithara and sighing softly, standing. Kithara watched the blind female slowly make her way to the entrance, obviously trying to practice walking without sight. Kithara stood, approaching her side.
"I suppose you would like to take a stretch? Why don't I show you to where the Creation Center is?" Oh, she did realize the names of locations were...boring, but she had plenty of time to make spiffy names for areas. First, she needed foxes to settled down here. When Amy nodded she smiled, heading out the entrance and turning, waiting for Amy to follow suit.

Iah felt weak. He had always been close with his twin ever since their parents had disappeared. Then Zillah had just disappeared and left him. He was alone now and it scared him. Other foxes began picking on the runt now that his strong and brave older sister had disappeared. Oh Iah knew he didn’t stand a chance and he was as weird as they said. After all Iah was rather shy and always stumbled when talking to new foxes. He wanted to make sure he knew something about the fox before he talked to them but they just didn’t understand how he worked and they often took this frustration and confusion out on him. It was a good thing he was black and could hide most of his injures. He let out a deep breath before looking around. He had ventured farther than he ever had before, although he liked discovering all sorts of new things it also terrified him and he liked to have some semblance of control but when he realized he had been left behind he hadn’t been paying attention to where he was going. He had no purpose. It ashamed him, why couldn’t he be strong, why did he have to be so different from his sister? Did she get tired of him, always being so quiet and creepy? She had seemed fine being the one to talk but maybe he had missed something. Another really cold gust of wind hit him and he shivered. The sun doing nothing to warm up his coat, pangs of hunger also stabbed at him but they weren’t important at the moment. Of course Iah didn’t know what was important at the moment. He just some how knew he had to keep going. There was some place, some place that would want him even if his sister didn’t, even if other foxes didn’t.

Kithara slipped off as Amy followed behind her, turning several times to assist the female and tell her where to walk. Amy needed to learn the tribe's general location and surrounding areas, and so she'd teach her. Her tail flicked back and forth as she padded ahead, patiently turning to wait for Amy once in awhile. She didn't mind, she enjoyed helping others.
Amy tripped, causing the female to rush forward and use her body to catch her.
"T-thank you." Amy stumbled upright as she felt the warmth of Kithara catch her. Her ears flicked, head turning as she heard movements nearby them. Though, she could not see her hearing was better than most due to the need to rely on it to be able to function safely.
"Do you hear that?"

It was a bright outside, but the air was frigid cold. Embry shivered involuntarily as she trudged down the path. She kept thinking back to her father. Harsh, quick tempered Blaze. The last time she had spoken to him he had told her to never come home. He had been so angry at the time that she took his words to heart. She should have known better then to run away. She had no where to go. Her mother had abandoned her as a child, leaving her to be raised by her father, who by no means was a nurturer.
With both parents gone, and no idea where her siblings where, Embry wandered aimlessly looking for a home, friends, somewhere she could finally belong. The loneliness in her heart was overwhelming on the best of days, but today for some reason it hit her harder then normal.
While her thoughts wandered, she failed to realized a rock in front of her and tripped. This wouldn't have been so horrible had she not been climbing down a hill. She pitched forward, and started rolling down the hill, picking up speed as she did, "Ahh!" She cried right before slamming into a solid mass.
Once the stars faded from her eyes she realized she saw nothing but blackness. For one paralyzing second she thought she might have gone blind from head trauma, but then she realized it was black fur she was staring at.ooc: fell into iah

He figured he should probably rest for a while and settle down. Walking until he passed out was not the way Iah wanted to spend his meaningless time. However as he began looking around something to shelter him while he recovered his strength he was suddenly barreled into. Pain erupted from his side and some how the offender had managed to land on top of him. He groaned wondering if this was an attack or if he was just that unlucky. Seeing as the female fox seemed to be confused he was guessing unlucky. “Are you alright miss?”

Embry moaned softly as she opened her eyes and spotted the bright eyed looking back at her. "Oh....oh my...." Her cheeks flushed as she scuttled off his body, "I am....so sorry...I....I tripped over a rock and....well....this happened? are you alright?" She looked over his body.

Kithara heard voices from afar, turning her head to Amy and touching the vixens paw with her own. "Amy, I am going to check on what is happening. Would you like to come along?" She knew that the walk would be hard for the female, though Amy was improving greatly and was remembering her location easier each day. However, it wasn't the blindness Kithara was worried about, it was that Amy was still slightly weak. She didn't want to press the recovering vixen to much.
Amy thought this over, considering. She shook her head eventually, what she really wanted was food and somewhere to relax. She didn't want to bother Kithara. She knew the way back to camp, she could remember it.
"I'm hungry, I'll just head back to the camp. Unless you feel like it'd be safer if I went with you?" The thought that Kithara could get attacked frightened the vixen, her head shaking back and forth.
"Actually, I'll go with you! What if something happened?"
Kithara laughed softly, tail twitching. Amy was always sweet and considerate. She patted Amy's paw, giggling once more.
"No dear, go eat. If something happened and you got hurt I'd feel terrible." She said. Amy nodded and turned, feeling the ground before figuring out where the camp was, padding off in that direction. Kithara watched her leave before turning to follow the voices she had heard.

Nitya met her sister as she emerged from the cave. She nodded to her Elder, unable to vocally greet her due to the rabbit she had clamped in her jaws. She set the body down and looked back up at Kithara.
"Going somewhere Sister? It's rare to see you without your shadow at your side." Nitya's voice was very scratchy and gravelly, the byproduct of a horrible injury when she was a kit. She referred to Amy as Kithara's "shadow", since the two vixens always seemed to be together. It was just an added bonus that Amy happened to be black.

((Just wanted to add that the location of Yasashii changed. They live by the ocean now and sleep in a field of flowers. The holding area for medicines is still a large cave and so is the holding area for sick foxes. I should have announced that. Lol.))
Kithara's eyes flicked over to spot Nitya, her youngest but most stubborn of her siblings. She smirked lightly at the comment, turning her head side to side in a shake. "She's returning to the campgrounds to eat. She'll be leaving my side more, she's becoming accustomed to walking without her eyesight." She mused.
She didn't mind the vixens voice, in fact, when they were young Kithara had helped Nitya heal after her injury. She had patched up her throat enough so that it didn't sound as bad as it used to. However even now it was gravely, and always would be. The Elder-to-be slowed her pace, ears flicking. She was debating wether or not to have Nitya check on Amy or come with her.
"I heard voices in the distance, I'm going to investigate. Care to join me?" She offered. "Or would you want to check on Amy instead?"

"You dont need to worry its fine miss, most people dont tend to notice me anyways" Iah said looking over his own personage for any injuries. There didnt seem to be anything too serious his ribs hurt a bit but he knew they werent broken. "I'm perfectly fine" he partially lied, there was no reason to tell her his side hurt a bit. It would recover.... eventually.

Embry looked him over, "Are you sure....I'm so sorry....Well i was rolling down the hill...i didn't notice much of anything...." She frowned, "How can people not notice you....you're very pretty..." She smiled. "I like the moon shape." She pointed to the section of his fur.
