Event!Talisan This was my first touching! I saw the Weyrleader and the Weyrlady, and their dragons, and I got to touch a lot of eggs! It was so neat to touch all of them! I never knew what they would feel like, or that you could feel stuff from them! I think everything went really well.

Event!Talisan, T'san The Hatching! I never expected it to be like it was. It was amazing! There was so much going on, and I never, ever, ever expected Danath to pick me. She hadn't seemed to like me when she was in her shell, but.... I'm hers, she's mine, and we're together forever. All the eggs hatched, though the last one needed a bit of help. She's a Crimson, which makes a lot of people mad, but I'm glad that all the eggs hatched. I wonder how different the crimson will be?

T'san The feast after the hatching was awesome! I got to meet a few other of the recently Impressed, and a Bronzerider even spoke to me! It was awesome! I can't wait to learn more!

T'san was curled up by Danath, gently resting his back against her hide. Even now, while he touched her as much as he wanted and when he knew she was strong, he was still afraid to hurt her. She was so precious to him, so amazing.
"You cannot hurt me," She told him again, sounding a bit amused. T'san grinned, looking a bit embarrassed, as Danath showed again that his thoughts were hers again.
"I just... I don't want the chance of hurting you." He caressed her face. Danath gave an amused little noise, resting her head on his shoulder.
"I will grow soon. And then it will be I that worries about harming you." She said, nuzzing the boy affectionately. T'san held her neck as tight as he dared, beaming. Wonderful, perfect Danath. "But thank you for your kind thoughts."
"All of my thoughts will be kind to you, Danath." He promised. He looked up at the sky, and his thoughts clouded a bit.
"What bothers you so?" Danath asked him, looking up at the sky with him. She could see the lights, but didn't understand why he seemed sad at them.
"Danath? Why did you choose me?" He asked softly, worrying at his shirt. Danath gave him the equivalent of a mental smile, her head still on his shoulder.
Her poor little Flit, so worried! "We are alike in the ways that are important, Mine. We both know our duty. You do not worry about how you look, or who you bed. You are still young, like me. And when we grow, we will serve our Weyr." She sounded proud, and nuzzled him again. "Do not worry. We are well fit. We are one."
T'san smiled and softly rested his back against Danath again. She hummed and rested her head on the ground again. There was blessed quietness again.
"Oh!"
There was never enough quietness. Danath opened one eye and peered at her silly little Flit, who was digging in a bag. He took out a small thing and started to scribble on it. "What are you doing, Mine?"
"I need to write my mother." He said, continuing his scribbling. Danath could see his mother, his father, his siblings. "They'll have wanted to know that I Impressed. It's an honor to serve Benden, you know." Such pride was in his voice. Danath curled around him and let the boy write.
