"Iiiii dunnooooo. I just feel so weak all of a sudden oh no~." Evari giggled, blinking and looking down at the tail holding her up. What a tricksy girl she had! She continued in her quest to bring Faris down for a wrestling game like they had had back at the pizza place when they were kids when she asked a strange question. A question that had Evari tensing up against her and standing up on two feet again. What? Why would she...was...was that what this was about? She kept quiet for a moment but not out of hesitation, more trying to piece the puzzle together though probably poorly timed in when she decided to do this. Did Faris think being more girl-like in appearance was that big a deal?

Evari moved off Faris only to coax her to turn around and face her, a serious look on her face as she looked the girl over for a moment. Hmmmm? Still like her even if she was a boooy? Weeeeeell~. "But I don't like you...I love you." She said quietly, nothing but sincerity behind every word. Evari put her hands on Faris' shoulders for now, tilting her head to the side and giving her a soft smile. "Gender doesn't matter. As long as you're not stupid, or boring, or annoying..." Though unfortunately all boys tended to be just that. She came across a couple gems though; mostly just Kay, Wolfram and Robin.

"Sweetheart, this isn't like you. The Faris I know is a strong gi--person. She's sweet, she's funny, she'll accept you even if you're a crazy person with a freakish glow. Or an idiot with a snake in his head. Excuse me for being crude but it isn't what's in your pants that matters, darlin'. You're my best friend because you're...just...awesome! I don't think anyone really cares about gender these days anymore, there're boys that want to be girls and girls that want to be boys so much they get surgery to do so. Or even just dress like them! And no one thinks anything of it...well...no one that matters anyway." Evari lifted a hand to cup her cheek, gently stroking it with her thumb. "I can't say I'm an expert at this, or that I fully understand because frankly I'm damn excited to be a girl I think it's awesome...but I'll do whatever it takes to make you happy again. Anything. I...I'll get down on my knees, or I'll make a complete idiot out of myself, or...I'll...Faris I'll do anything it takes to make you smile again. You're beautiful, you're perfect inside and out. I don't get why you could think anything otherwise. There's nothing wrong with being a girl. It's pretty kick a**!" She gave Faris' shoulder a gentle squeeze and frowned, looking her straight in the eye. "Rissy, what's wrong. Tell me. And don't hold back. Just...let it out. Quit tip toein'."

Evari seemed a bit distraught as Faris pulled away again to distract herself with doing things around the kitchen, standing in one place and just letting her collect her thoughts for now. She didn't say anything to interrupt Faris when she finally did speak, her eyes focused intently on her friend and looking her up and down. So they thought she was a boy? Well that wasn't hard when she was a kid and didn't have anything to physically set her apart from the boys at first glance, and she was pretty sure she'd never seen Faris in a skirt; did this girl even own any? But if she got the gist of it Faris thought developing more into a woman's body made her...a different person? Now that was just silly. Why would she go and think a thing like that? Was it the movies? Was it television? Did she meet a girl like the ones she was afraid of being like?

Ah, so Kay had tried to get her to watch movies like the one Evari had bought her too, huh? Evari put her bag on the counter for a moment and sighed, rubbing at the back of her neck and looking at Faris again. "Faris, there's no 'rules' to 'being a girl'. If you don't want to do things like what I do, that's up to you. If you don't want to be weak, then don't be weak. If you want to do things like football, and sports, and martial arts then no one can stop you. Being a 'girl' doesn't change you from being Faris. Just because you're developing breasts doesn't mean you have to change your behavior at all, it really doesn't. As for protecting..." Evari paused a moment to try and think of examples of female protectors besides the obvious. She wouldn't want the obvious, she'd seen the obvious and if warrior chicks on television didn't do anything for her then she needed more realistic examples. Who protected? And was a woman? Evari glanced at the cups Faris had found for their tea, and suddenly it hit her. She gasped softly and smiled at her. "You can do plenty of protectin'! I protected your brothers from boys y'know! And Luis, she protects you guys...hell, she protected me. And you protect me too, more than you know. Whenever I think about you it always stops me from doing something really stupid, or it cheers me up and I'm not sad anymore. You keep me sane even when you're not around. Uh...mothers! Mothers are very protective. See? If they can do it you can do it...hell...if you had a kid, which you can because you're a girl, you'd be its protector from the very moment it's conceived." Not that Evari was a fan of pregnancies. She personally felt that it was a ruiner of fun, that once someone got pregnant it's all they could do was...be pregnant. And then when the kids were born? All they'd want to do was kid things.

The next question surprised her and threw her off more than any other question. Evari blinked and just stared at her, completely shocked. Apparently Faris just blew her mind or something. "Where'd that come from? Faris, I don't think there's anything you could do that would make me stop loving you. If anything I'm worried you won't love me anymore because of how I.." No, she didn't want Faris to know. Not right now if ever. She shook her head and stepped close to Faris, taking her hand and gently pulling her to sit at the kitchen table with her, keeping her own chair close. Heh...this was kind of like her talk with Luis. "I'll always love you, Faris. I swear it. Nothing you could ever do will change my mind." She was being serious still, an odd thing for Evari!

The smile made Evari glow brightly. She was smiling! There was still hope yet! Just a little more time and she'd have talked sense into her enough for her to finally forget she was ever 'a mess'. She wasn't a mess! She really wasn't! Evari was smiling now too, about to even try and give her more helpful advice when suddenly Faris asked a question in a tone that made her heart sink. Evari's smile fell, her jaw dropped and her eyes wide, even her glow dimmed a bit. Wow she...she was really serious just then, and while none of this had been pleasant the way she demanded to know made Evari's stomach twist painfully. She snapped her mouth closed and swallowed hard, squeezing Faris' hand and looking anywhere but her friend. Wh-why would she tell her what she'd hate her for? So she could hate her? But she didn't want Faris to hate her! But then she'd be a hypocrit; Faris had told her all this, and Evari did say she'd do anything...

"I...I uh..." Her glow dimmed even more, her eyes darting to her friend for a moment before turning down to stare intently at their hands. Yup, their hands sure were interesting right now. "I...sleep around...a lot? Like...a lot. Not with guys. Kay's the only guy I have ever--or will ever--have sex with...it's all girls." It wasn't the girl part that had her so worried, it was the sex part. "Some days I just...I'm the mess, Rissy. Not you. You're anything but a mess. I mean, I have a lot of rules for myself to keep it safe but it's still...I..." She felt like such a whore telling Faris this. It was why if Faris had called her home or gone to her home she wouldn't find her there. She didn't spend much time at home because she was at other homes most nights out of the week. Evari let go of Faris' hand to rake her fingers through the bangs over her face, pushing them out of her face and to the side. She whimpered a little. No, she didn't want to do this! They had to help Faris! It was Faris who was unhappy, it was Faris who was uncomfortable, it was Faris who needed sense talked into her.

"I-it's why I didn't come see you sooner. I tried. I tried so many times, I swear. Just every time I...I'd look at myself and get scared you'd hate the sight of me, like you'd see the kind of person I...I love you so much, Faris. You're the most important person to me ever, if you stopped loving me or even liking me I don't know what I'd do." She held her hands again, both of them this time, and gave them a gentle squeeze. Evari was scared. She didn't want to be someone Faris hated, she honestly didn't. The very thought terrified her to tears.

Evari couldn't look at her, she just couldn't, but she did stupidly glance up to see if she was angry. She tensed at the look on Faris' face, not sure what it was. Was that anger? She honestly couldn't figure it out. It was so weird! She'd never seen anyone look like that before! But then the tears came. Oh god...oh god, oh god, oh god! No! NO! Don't cry! Evari's eyes widened and she quickly reached out to brush away as many tears as she could. "F-Faris! Please don't cry! Nonono, please...don't cry I'm not worth it. Please don't cry. Please. Please, sweetheart. Don't..." She pleaded quietly, moving her hands when Faris moved her own hands to wipe at her face. Evari was so lost. She didn't know what to do. ********! She was doing so well too! She'd made her smile again finally and now...damnit! She wrecked everything!

Wait, what? Evari blinked, Faris' words tearing her from her thoughts. No matter how much she...what? Her glow brightened again to its usual level of brightness having dimmed almost completely, and her heart skipped what felt like several beats. Faris wanted her? Her? But she...she was horrible! She made her cry! She was so...so...stupid! She was a whore! A slut! How could Faris want that?! Tears welled up in Evari's eyes as she continued on, whimpering quietly. She could fix this. She could--

...She...she could...

Evari's eyes widened with shock as a pair of unfamiliar lips pressed against her own, her breath caught and her heart just about stopped. Faris...Faris was kissing her. Her Faris was kissing her completely of her own volition! A-and she...and she wanted her and...wow...this was...wow. Evari's eyes fluttered closed and she lifted a hand to cup her face again, the other reaching around to rest against the girl's hip and bring her closer as she returned the kiss. She was sweet about it, being gentle and soft unlike with other girls. She cared about Faris, she loved this girl. No other person was anywhere close to Faris' level in her heart. Evari soon ended the kiss but didn't move away, resting her forehead against Rissy's with her eyes still closed. "Faris, you could do so much better than me..." She whispered quietly. It pained her to say it, but she really could. Faris could find someone so much better. So much nicer. Someone who didn't just throw themselves at a girl with a pretty face...though..most of those girls had black hair or green eyes, sometimes even both. Evari gave her another kiss just because she could, one just as soft as she last. "I'm so sorry I made you cry...that's the last thing I've ever wanted to do."

"I'm sorry." She said quietly to the order to stop, assuming she meant to stop beating herself up. Evari smiled apologetically and listened quietly to Faris' words. So...Faris loved her? Like, real love? Not just 'We're best friends yay I love you!' kind of love? Evari felt a swell of pure joy at Faris' words, her eyes opening to stare down at Faris with tears in her eyes. Faris was so amazing, her perfect girl. Her girl. No one could have her. The hand on Faris' hip tightened a little at the thought, a reaction from a mixture of excitement and protectiveness. She reluctantly and regretfully let her go to attend to the tea, feeling a little cold without Faris next to her now. She wanted her back, she wanted to hold her and not let go for a long, long time.

Evari smiled dreamily now, standing up to follow Faris. "I love you so much, Faris. I mean it...I really do." She told her earnestly, leaning against the counter beside her. This was...nice. Evari felt blissfully happy for some reason, she'd never felt this happy before! And then Faris made her offer, further breaking her mind even more. She...she wasn't going to stop her? She was just going to let Evari keep doing what she was doing? But why? She didn't want to hurt her! Evari turned her gaze away for a moment. "I..." She was so ashamed of what she did yet she kept doing it. Maybe it was time to stop? If she had Faris she wouldn't need those other women. "I'll do my best not to keep you waiting, Rissy. Thank you." Evari leaned in to press a kiss to her temple, gently rubbing her friend's back between her wings. This was really nice.

Oho! So she was feeling better now? Good! She was glad! "That's my girl." Yes. Her girl. "Oooh...I think you deserve a reward for that! A reward...or threeeee~." Evari told her happily, letting her attend to their tea while she collected her bag and opened it in a way that let her see inside but kept the contents hidden from Faris, chuckling softly to herself and glancing up at Faris for a moment. "Say Faris...have your brothers been especially annoying lately~?" Because maybe Evari knew whyyyyy~.

Evari nodded, her smile ever present on her face. It wasn't going anywhere anytime soon. Definitely not. She'd pretend she wasn't a total whore right now, just for Faris, she could worry about it later. "Okay. I understand..." She was definitely going to do her best. She couldn't promise it would be overnight, and she couldn't promise it would be quick, but she would do her damn hardest to break herself of this habit. It couldn't...it couldn't be that hard, right? How hard could it be to stop having sex with any pretty girl who would let her? H-how hard could it be to stop looking at them? The tea was acknowledged, but first Evari really wanted to give her these gifts. She really couldn't help but smirk at the answer, laughing a bit at how Pinocchio was apparently going about stopping his sister from buying that boxset.

She'd have to thank little Pinoc' for this. Evari hummed for a moment as she dug through her bag in an exaggerated fashion, forcing more and more of her arm into the bag despite honestly not needing to. She couldn't help it! She was just so happy she felt...silly! Finally she grabbed the box set in one hand, holding the bag in the other since it still had a few things in it, holding the whole thing carefully and staring at it with a look of surprise. "Huh! Would you look at that!" She turned the look to Faris. Who would've thought Evari would have something like that! Boy! It was like she knew Faris wanted it~! "Why would you need your wallet? I think he was doing you a favor, keeping you from wasting money on something you'd already have!" She grinned cheekily at her...her...friend? Was Faris her friend still? Or was she something more?

Hm...for now she'd just keep calling her 'her Faris' until she knew for sure.

This was the Faris Evari knew and loved so dearly. Evari laughed and tightened her grip on the bag and the box so they wouldn't go flying from her hands as she was hugged, giving her a moment to adjust and settle before she returned the hug as best as she could with her hands full, leaning down to be as close to her as possible. She didn't just like this, she loved it. Making her Faris happy made her happy. She never wanted to see her frown again.

"You're welcome! I still have more, but I have a feeling you'll like this most of everything!" Evari laughed, returning the simple cheek nuzzle and then letting her take the box. She watched her coo over it like a mother with a newborn baby, reaching over to playfully tweak her ear and smirk at her. "You're so cute." She teased affectionately, reaching into the bag again to get out the DS game and the movie, holding them together carefully in one hand. "I got these too~. Got the same game for myself so we can play it together later." It was nice to have options, she even brought the game Faris had bought for them before. No way was she not going to bring it. The only thing left in the bag was her own DS and her cell phone, putting it on the counter and putting the movie and games beside it. She leaned back against the counter for a moment to just watch Faris, eventually giggling and turning to prepare her own tea. Sugar. Loooots of sugar. It wasn't to mask the taste or anything..Evari just liked sugar.

"This is what happens when you get me presents and I don't have any to give you in return at the time. Spoiling you...is actually really nice." She smiled, sipping at her tea and turning to lean back against the counter. Oooh! This tea was delicious! "So what do you want to do now, sweetheart~?" Evari asked her cheerfully, still feeling that high from their kiss. Wait...their kiss...it...holy...wait a second! Evari gasped, her eyes wide as she nearly dropped her cup. "Faris! Was that your first kiss?" Please say it wasn't! She could've done so much better if she'd known! s**t! C-could they go back and redo it so it was more memorable? Or something? Gaaaaaaah!

They could do everything, they could do anything! Evari was staying the night, after all! And she wasn't going to just leave her friend in the morning like she did with any other girl either, she'd stay for as long as Faris wanted her. So honestly they had all the time in the world to do whatever Faris wanted. She was sipping almost worriedly at her tea as Faris blushed, her worries already almost confirmed. The blush was all she needed, but the answer made her grimace a little. Damn! It was?! But...but she...her first kiss should've been way better than that! It was the question that made her spit out her tea so she wouldn't choke on it, putting the cup aside and grabbing a nearby paper towel to wipe at her mouth and some of the tea that had gotten on her chest. Wrong?! Oh lord! "N-no that's not--" She coughed, clearing her throat afterward and sighing. Evari looked to Faris to see the deer-in-headlights look on her face, her own eyes widening a little as she quickly shook her head.

"No it's...i-it's nothing you did, I promise! Just if I'd known..." Evari chuckled softly and played with some of her own hair, blushing a bit herself now. "My first kiss wasn't very spectacular, in fact if I could go back and redo it I totally would...yours should be one you'll remember and smile about." Because clearly Evari didn't think she could be happy about a kiss that was filled with tears and came right after Evari's awful confession. She sighed and held her arms out for her friend, feeling she'd gone long enough without holding her Faris. She wasn't saying she didn't want to be Faris' first kiss, hell she was proud to say she was now, and she wouldn't have it any other way! Like hell was Evari going to let some guy steal Faris from her. "C'mere~." She sang gently, making grabby hands for her friend. Evari wasn't interested in the tea or anything right now, not after what Faris had said, now she just wanted to hold her as long as she could and not let go.
