Zuraya had gone about as deep as the run would allow; well, without thrusting her head into the brush itself, that is. She couldn’t turn about or sit up, but it wasn’t awful. She’d slept in worse places lately.

As Celile backed herself in, Zuraya made room as best she could, tucking her tail around her so it didn’t get stepped on by accident. “There’s enough room,” The lioness confirmed, though Celile hadn’t waited for the reply. Certainly it wasn’t a problem, except that Zuraya mentally noted that if she wanted to leave during the night Celie would have a rude awakening as she clambered over her. Thinking that a little too rude even for her, Zuraya made plans to thrust her way up and out of the brush if it came to it, instead of running her newfound friend over.

“Well, cozy maybe, but at least it’s cover,” Zuraya replied, agreeing with Celile’s sarcastic assessment. She looked over her shoulder as best as space would allow and saw the leopardess already settling down to sleep. “Oh! Goodnight!” Zuraya responded quickly, and lay her own head down to rest. Sleep wouldn’t come quickly, but at least she could finally relax and clear her mind. And one thing was for sure, she felt a lot safer not being alone, at least for now.
