Plain? Was this girl a fool? She would switch bodies with her in a heartbeat. As she focused on the female she saw her body, scanning her markings and color. She was pretty, very much so. Runaiu huffed at the comment of her being pretty, shaking her head. Was she being mocked? She knew she was boring looking, one day she would speak to the family tattoo artist and get tattoos, but right now she was busy with finding somewhere to call home.
"I don't appreciate being lied to." She sighed out tiredly, feeling sick as she began the long ritual of comparing herself to the other. The other wasn't one solid color, she had a flow and interesting tattoos. And her aura... Oh...

Tenshi shook her head rapidly. "I never lie. Now that I think about it I dont think I know how to lie." Her eyebrows drew close together as she pondered the thought.Why would she think I would lie~ Tenshi thought.

Runaiu was not falling for this, so she shut down and recreated herself in seconds. She brought out the persona she had created as a kit, the person of someone selfish and bratty. Why? Because, if someone is rude and selfish, no one will bond with them. No one will ever be close enough to hurt them. No one will ever break them. Runaiu kept others away, she kept herself protected. Her insecure, scared, and fiery self hidden under the persona of a brat.
"Oh? So if someone demanded you lie for them unless you lost your life, would you sit there and speak the truth? No, I doubt it. Therefor, you can lie." She hissed back, in the back of her mind she felt guilty for being this cruel, but she knew it was necessary. This fox was pretty, why would she care about this plain fox?

Tenshi jerked back at the sudden change in the other vixen. She had no idea what happened or what she had did to make the other upset. "No I wouldn't lie. But I wouldn't say anything at all." Tenshi than hung her head "I'm sorry. I'm sorry for whatever I did or said wrong to upset you. How can I fix it? Tell me what you want me to do to fix it please."She pleaded.

Runaiu was taken aback, taking a step back and blinking. Most would get defensive, or be annoyed. But this fox was asking how to fix it? Runaiu didn't understand, was this fox really that innocent? She blinked at her, frowning. Oh, why did she have a conscience? It was her fault for being so damn better than Runaiu! "Calm down. You're going to bite your tongue if you keep rambling."

Tenshi instantly shut up and waited to see what the other vixen would do. She pawed at the ground feeling a bit odd. She had never upset anyone that fast. She continued to keep her head low feeling like a stupid jerk.

Runaiu watched the female lower her head, growling under her breath. This was different. This vixen was just so... odd! First apologizing like crazy then obediently shutting up. What the hell?! Why wasn't she angry at Runaiu? Dammit, this was tough.
This fox couldn't have eaten much recently, there wasn't water nearby for awhile, and she had mentioned she only fished. Runaiu rolled her eyes, moving near the fox and shaking her head. "Oh, just... You look hungry, I can get you some food."

Tenshi's ears perked up. "Um miss why would you do that? You really don't have to I can go find something,"She said quickly while standing up. "I dont want to be an inconvenience to you."

Runaiu turned to her, blinking yet again. Miss? No no no. "Names Runaiu, and stay here." She said before heading off. The female took no time in finding a bird. She was just destined to be a hunter if she ever joined a tribe. She doubted she ever would, but still. Her paw lashed out, killing the bird quickly and painlessly. She was not a sadist. Lifting the bird into her mouth, she padded back to the vixen, dropping the kill before her and shrugging as she stepped back.
"Uh, it's an apology for calling you a ghost, I guess."

"Its nice to meet you Runaiu my name is Tenshi,'She spoke and watched as the fox Runaiu set a bird down in front of her. "Thank you very much you really didn't have to. I think being called a ghost is more interesting than being called a glowing freak."

Runaiu nodded, glumly looking away. Tenshi, huh? And she had a pretty name, damn. She shrugged, eyeing Tenshi. Had she been called that before? "So, you've been teased before?" She did feel guilty for her jealousy, but at the same time she didn't. She couldn't help her insecurity, much like Tenshi couldn't help her aura.

Tenshi nodded while pawing at the bird pulling some of its feathers out not wanting to get a mouth full of them. "Yes I have, but it's life I guess." she had managed to pull all the feathers out of the wings.

"That's screwed up." Runaiu muttered, remembering her own past of hurtful taunts. She watched Tenshi eat, frowning, Why would anyone mock someone for something so special? Envious, probably. Or just people being cruel, she knew that for a fact. Either way, it seemed ridiculous that one would mock the vixen for the unique aura she had.

Tenshi tore the bird in half and laid the second half infront of Runaiu. "You have some to" She said before laying down and really starting to eat.

Runaiu grumbled a "Thanks, not used to someone being kind to her or sharing their food, not since Mercury left. She wanted to see her adopted son again, maybe soon? She would need to track him down, she didn't know how to use birds for messages like Shai and Sin did. She paused as she ate, glancing at Tenshi. Why was she alone, anyway? Didn't this pretty vixen have an equally pretty mate? Or kits? Or siblings? Or even a tribe?
"Why are you alone in such dangerous woods?"
