I wanted to recruit him so bad. This. Getting Elto would've been so awesome, and the consequences that inevitably happen when you have Lachesis talk to him make you wish he'd be recruited all the more. (WHY ELTOSHIN, WHY? crying ) Who else... oh, duh! I'm surprised no one's mentioned Leila yet. She's fabulous, and already had growths put into the system (really FIERCE growths, at that). I'm sure there are others... I'll edit them in when they come to mind.

Ayame_Rikimayu I'm mainly referencing Blazing Sword. Even though you get Apocalyse in FE6, I wish I could have used Bramimond. I loved his character so much that it hurts me. I also wished dearly to fight Ephidel, just to see his character in action. I love the storyline, don't get me wrong, but they show glimpses of these awesome characters that I'd anticipated using/fighting and then nothing happens.
Share your fustration here. I heard they put Bramimond in the data, but just never released it. What I mean is that he has a class & starting stats & everything. I also thought Bramimond was pretty awesome, being one of the only 8 legends that's still alive. Just him & Athos. & I always wanted to get Leila.

Bramimond has his own class in the data, titled "Bramimond", which contains preprogrammed stats and even has a unique map sprite that you only see at one point in the actual game. "Using him" is as simple as manipulating the game's data to place him on the field.

I thought Uhai would have been kinda cool as a playable character as well, because I like nomads with their ability to use swords (especially since he had a Killing Edge in Hector mode, a very useful sword to obtain.)
Anyone who can use killer weapons is awesome in my book. heart

Misuki Marishima I thought Uhai would have been kinda cool as a playable character as well, because I like nomads with their ability to use swords (especially since he had a Killing Edge in Hector mode, a very useful sword to obtain.) (Don't reject this from the get go)
I would of liked to use Selena form Sacred Stones. She is usable after you beat the game, but it would have been so much better if you could have her join you in game. There was no reason to kill her off, her honor was greater than that of the swine of the Grado, for only the pigs were all that could be deemed fit to be ruled by those reds. ANGER!

Selena and Glen were honorable generals and their deaths deserved playability, even if it was at the end of the game, but only on Hard difficulty, like you get Selena if you played Ephraim's story and Glen if you played Eirika.
...Thus making an easy game.....even easier...
but its a win for us lazy people (like myself, for instance...)

I really wanted to use either Lloyd or Linus. Those two just needed a little more backstory in my opinion. You could have Nino/Jaffar/Legault talk to them, and then maybe have them fight each other and live, like the Bartre vs Karla fight.

FE6 GALE!!! D: It killed me when we couldn't recruit him because Miledy and Zeiss are super awesome, but another triangle attack (Wyvern triangle attack FTW) with Gale would have been overkill.
FE7 Bramimond and Leila would have been pretty awesome to play as. I also would have preferred the brothers, Lloyd and Linus, but I still liked Karel...though I never get Harken since I love my magic users way too much XD. Uther would have been nice too along with Eliwood's father.
FE8 it would have been nice to recruit Selena kind of like a Ceicilia recruitment from FE6, but having her after the game was good enough. In Gheb Fire Emblem you can recruit and raise her...but that game is quite difficult and very quirky.. Glen too, but I still would have preferred Cormag over his brother.
FE9: I wanted Bertram!!! He is so sick in that poison purple armor and black horse. Petrine is a bit daunting sure...but Bertram in FE9 that's awesome. Should have been included in trial maps with BK, but NOOOO! We just have to hack the game for that >.>.

True, for the most part, most feel a burning hatred towards him for... well... burning. But! I must say, he should've ahem, Burned Manfroy, ran off with Yuria, straight at you (being sure to have Yuria with him, so he can get some "Hey! Let's not fight, let's kick the Lopt Sect's a**!" talking time in instead of being all "I'm the most powerful boss character in the entire game, but I can't kill this wimpy Dark Bishop who's got my daughter hostage, so instead I'll act evil to the player while at the same time giving the hero this legendary sword so he can save my daughter." (Powerless against those people, eh? Why are you so strong then!? Ok, Yurius will probably whomp you, but... Yurius whomps everyone besides Yuria w/Narga... Ok, I've seen Lakche kill Yurius on Ch.10 thru Eclipsing (Procing AstraMeteor Sword and Luna Moonlight Sword at once, with the Moonlight repeating) him... multiple times and getting crits during said Eclipses. With Balmung.)

In Fuuin no Tsurugi, I would have LOVED to recruit Gale. But alas, he remained loyal to Bern (Damn Camus archetype) and flew away.
In Rekka no Ken, there are a few actually, Fargus the Ultra Zerker, Lloyd the Silver Wolf (another damn Camus! stressed ), Murdock, Leila or Uhai the Soaring Hawk.
In Sacred Stones, due to the fact that you can EASILY over level you units, I can make due w/ Joshua, Marisa, Lute, Artur and Super Trainee Amelia (all recruitable) so I don't need NPCs like Morva... >_>
PoR and RD shall not be included.
