The only thing so far I am kind of happy with is the fact that Cole (aka Wild Force Red Ranger) has returned, but is actually playing PRS's version of Juuzo. I like him in the role, but so far it's the only improvement. As far as the rest of the cast, I can say that they are FARRRRR from the characters that their japanese counterparts played. Hopefully the Gold Ranger will change that, but I doubt it.

Oh and did I forget to mention that horrible, HORRIBLE 90's PR dubbing of the Sentai footage? Oh god....makes me want to vomit. emo

Go watch an episode on Youtube. You will die when you hear the dubbing over the Sentai footage. Saban really wanted to go back to how PR was popular, and in my opinion ruined PRS. Ok I can understand wanting to revive the show, but not like it was in the 90's. My god, it's 2011!!

I've seen a few scenes here and there. Like when they summoned the Kabuto origami/beetle zord. My god. Did they HAVE to give them mega suits, get rid of the original Shinken-Oh cockpit footage, AND have them summon the zords from outside? Were all those changes necessary? ._.

You underestimate Bandai's thirst for over-producing merchandise. Do they need the bulky, lame Mega Forms? No, but little kids will need it when they see a commercial about the new toys that can turn into them. Do they need a fold-away sword to pilot the robot? No, but little kids will need it when they are at the store... on top of wanting the non-folding up one that comes with one disc to use and requires separate purchases for the rest.

Seeing that video I can conclude:
That Rita toy is one of the ugliest ones I've ever seen.
They really did make Mega Mode mostly to sell toys (as majority of the toys are in the mode)
They really love adding useless motorcycles for ranger teams (lulz at being combined with the megazord)
That shogun thing is... alright. Probably the only thing that I kind of liked in that video. Aside from the previous megazord collection anyways, those looked nice.
I was right about the sword thing, they have two different ones as toys being sold. Its even more pathetic though on how lame the sword that can spin looks.
The gold ranger will likely have any spirit drained from Shinkenger's sixth. Which while I wasn't a fan of the character, it sucks the whole personality behind him is gone from the looks of it.

Well from what I can tell they are killing power rangers with this incarnation. Shinkenger I figured they would brutally murder and reuse the corpse of when making this, but then I feel that way with anything being brought over for English audiences in the way Saban/4kids does.
