"Yeah, seems everyone is." Neko said shortly looking over the names he had checked off making sure they matched the tent number he had handed out. It wasn't a completely rude statement, just a matter of facts. "What's the name?" He asked finally looking up and getting an eye full of boob on his way to her face. He hadn't really intended to look....but she was practically spilling out of the top she had on. Keeping his eyes focused on her face he didn't dare to venture lower, despite how he wanted to.
"I'm Tessa Lancaster and this is Nami Reede." She introduced them both though she knew they would be in the same tent. They had put up a pretty big fuss about the tent they wanted to use.
Neko glanced at Tessa shortly before turning back to his list. Did all high school students dress like tramps now? Not that he minded, it was more than welcome as long as they had the body to sport it. "Let's see. Looks like you'll be sharing a tent with Poke, Lina, Mitsu, and Kohaku....and you already have a tent?" Neko questioned.
"That's correct." Tessa nodded, inwardly smiling deviously at the names given. This was just perfect.
Turning to Desmond, Mitsu gave his advice some thought. It seemed the others agreed as well. She really hadn't thought about the possibility of people tampering with her stuff. Though usually she would have...or at least she thought she would have. She just wasn't very with it today. And if she would have left her things at the bus and something were to happen to Ludwig she would have been devastated. "Thank you, everyone. I hadn't.....I hadn't thought of that." Removing the strap from her shoulder she handed the bag off to Desmond. It looked like she was struggling with it a little but it would prove to be rather light.
"So where would you like to go? I've never been here before." She seemed excited to be outdoors and the prospect of hiking with friends was nice. Maybe she could find Riyo or perhaps some of the others from her class to hike with her later on. Poke was very forward but she was nice and Lina was very kind. Mitsu did a mental tally in her head of the people she had talked to. No one was really close but perhaps this would be the best opportunity to make friends.
Klyde smiled at her mock retaliation. To the rest of her statement he gave a shrug. "The cold doesn't bother me, not that a piece of fabric does much to protect against the elements. Unless it rains of course. Besides, I like the idea of spending some time out here with you."
Some of the hive were gathered outside the bus looking for something to do. While in search of something to appease their boredom their eyes settled on Blade as he made his way toward the woods. No words were spoken as they looked amongst themselves in silent agreement. With that four of the boys broke off from their little group, among them the Cajun, a football player, a senior and a sophomore. It looked as though they were going to go on a casual hike as they made their way into the woods in the same direction Blade had disappeared.

As he went on through the woods, Blade was none the wiser that he was being followed for awhile. This was primarily because he didn't think anyone would bother following. Not only that but his mind was wandering around just like he was meandering through the area himself. He tried not to think about the others for the most part, especially those two.
However, after he was a good distance into the forest, he paused and glanced behind. A little further behind, he spotted some people from the Hive. With any luck they weren't tailing him and just happened to be in the same area.
Shaking his head, he turned away and continued walking while hoping to maybe lose them. He didn't really want to deal with the Hive bees right now.

Poke felt like finding the nearest tree and...smashing her head on it. Just watching those two bimbo's was making her sick. "Is there anyone those two wont flirt with??" Although neko wasn't such a...bad choice in looks, his personalty could do with a work. Plus he was probably twice as old as them.
"...Whats that song that involves this student dating the teacher?" Varn asked while watching the girls and the janitor from before.
"'Don't stand so close to me?'"
"Thats it" Upon closer inspection, he realized that the janitor was the one holding their tent roster. "Should we wait until those two clear off before we ask who we're bunking with?"
"Indeed"

Victory. Desmond quietly took the bag and draped it over his shoulder along with the backpack, though it still felt like he was wearing nothing. "There's a lovely nature trail close to here. It's not much of a hike, but it's a long road with a lot of different plants to see. Good for a warm up." He wasn't much of a nature nut himself. He liked the urban jungle. That was his hunting ground... But he supposed a little break didn't hurt.
Riyo raised an eyebrow at his last comment. Spend more time with her? He made it sound like... Like they were a couple or something... "Suit yourself then." She said in an attempt to shrug it off before she started blushing. Reaching into one of her pockets, she pulled out her trusty swiss army knife and looked towards the woods. "I think I'll be having rabbit tonight." A little grin overtook her lips. "It's been too long."
Nami looked at Tessa with a smile. "We'll have to make sure our fellow students are comfortable." Then back at Neko. "Thank you, sir. We... Appreciate it." Her fingers twirled her already wavy hair as she spoke of gratitude, quietly moving towards where their tent would be.

Once the bag had been handed off, Bent-Tail smiled and nodded before looking in the general direction that Desmond had suggested. He had walked down it before and it was quite a nice trail indeed.
"Sounds like a plan," affirmed the Rat as he started to walk that way, "Oh yeah, if ye need t'stop 'n rest at any time just let us know Mitsu."
Seeing how she was kind of tired already, there was the chance she might need to rest sometime while they hiked. He didn't want her to overexert herself, but maybe this walk will end up refreshing the girl somewhat.
With his hands still stuffed into his pockets, Shun went on to follow them quietly.

The hive boys seemed to be a good distance from any curious eyes or teacher supervision. It was the perfect opportunity to strike. Nodding to one another, as if transferring a mental game plan, two of the boys split off and disappeared into the woods. That left the Cajun and the football player to trail Blade down the path. Stepping up their pace they began to close the distance, waiting to see if Blade would make a run for it or confront them.
"Sure, that sounds nice," Mitsu nodded following the guys to the trail. She also confirmed that she would let them know if she needed a break but she was pretty sure she would be okay.
Along the way she paused here and there looking at the plants, the flowers, and the wildlife taking it all in. "So do you like camping, Desmond?" She didn't see him as much of an outdoors type but perhaps she was mistaken. You could never judge a book by its cover. "Oh, Ben look!" Tail wagging away she trotted over toward the rat boy pointing off into the distance. It was incredibly hard to tell what she was gesturing at but a bit of movement would reveal a small family of mule deer. A mother and two fawns.
"You're going hunting?" Not that Klyde wouldn't be hunting himself. There were no real potential meals with only students and teachers around, unless someone offered. Otherwise biting someone in the school would get him into some serious trouble. But animal blood was still leaps and bounds better over the bottled stuff they served. It was well enough to get them through the day but it had quite an unsavory flavor. "You know they do plan to feed you on this trip." He laughed softly. "Though, I had planned to do the same." Eying the knife Klyde couldn't help but recall the last time he had seen it. It sent a mixed feeling of shame and need through him. "I know a good place to go if you want to follow along tonight."
Neko eyed Nami with a quirked brow for a moment, took in the sight of her the next and quickly turned back to his clip board. What was he doing looking at bratty little kids? He was really going to shot himself in the foot if someone caught him, though he didn't mean anything by it. "Yeah, sure." He said softly looking up as the next set of kids came along. With an exaggerated sigh he asked for their names and gave them a tent. How had he ended up with this job?
Moving away from Neko, Tessa's grin began to grow. "This is a rather interesting development." Gathering up her things she headed toward where she had told her servants to set up their tent. She wanted it in a shaded area but not completely under the trees, the bugs would be thick under the trees and she didn't much care for that. The ground had to be perfectly flat and nothing that would be marshy or muddy if it rained. "What is our first step?" Tessa asked turning to Nami.

"Yeah. Well just like you would rather eat something fresh instead of processed, I'd rather catch and kill what I eat, if given the option." Riyo promptly spoke after Klyde informed her of the free food. "To feel it stop breathing in your grasp, to skin it and get the blood all over your hands. Very satisfying." Her tone was matter-of-fact, as if she'd experienced it more than a few times. "Sounds like a fine idea." If he'd been here before, he probably knew where the good spots were... Barring they hadn't changed due to a lot of people knowing about it. "But... Animals don't actually do anything for you, do they?" She hadn't assumed so. That would've solved the problems of hunting humans, after all.
"Well..." Desmond started with a sigh. "Not particularly. But it is a nice reprieve from the usual scenery, so I don't mind it for a short period of time." The blonde vampire said with a shrug.
When her attention was captured by something in the distance, Desmond glanced to see just what she was referring to... Oh. Deer. Hm. He'd have to remember those were around later. The mother had two after all. He was sure she wouldn't mind him taking one off of her hooves. "Lovely." He commented with a smile, trying not to let on what he was thinking about.
When they were a good distance from the janitor, Nami turned to Tessa and rubbed her chin. "This Kohaku girl... Surprisingly, I'm not sure who she is." Nami appeared in awe of the prospect of first day all over again. "Have you seen her around?"

A little while later, Blade had cast another glance behind to see if the Hive boys were still there. Two of them were missing, which may or may not be a good thing for him. The other two had apparently picked up pace at this point seeing how they were close to him.
"Is there something you want?" he asked them, sounding a little bored. The thief hadn't really been following any particular route so it was somewhat safe to assume that they were tailing him here. Most likely they weren't up to any good, considering their track record and all.
As Mitsu exclaimed, Bent-Tail looked towards where she was pointing to see the small family of deer there. Smiling, he glanced at the girl, "Oh nice! Not too often t'see them dis close 'n all. Think we could get any closer b'fore they flee?"
To see what the commotion was all about, Shun went and saw the deer as well. It was always nice to see wildlife, though he still didn't really smile here. His expression was more or less the same as it was when they first started this hike. Best not really let on he had a soft spot for anything.
"Eh. Better leave them alone right now," he mumbled before looking around. If there was a male around, there was the chance they'd end up getting charged.

Klyde shook his head. "No, they really don't. I'll still have to drink that bottled crap they give us. But there is something satisfying about it none the less. It quenches the thirst for a little while at least." He paused for a moment looking around. The students were still busying about finding their tent mates and setting up their tents. "We can go now if you like. I can show you where the spot is. Its a fair ways into the woods, but its worth the walk." He offered.
"Aww, they are so cute." Mitsu walked up to a tree to peek around to watch them. "Can't we get a little closer?" Her tail continued to wag as she watched the small deer grazing through the under brush. They were none the wiser that they were being watched, care free in their own little world. Despite her meek demeanor Mitsu still smelled of a wolf which generally scared most wildlife away like deer or rabbits. The only animals that never seemed bothered were those of the canine race.
"Oh, there's something we want alright." The Cajun spoke as he and the football player continued their path toward him. "A little something to pass the time, ya know."
The football player, big and brutish, merely grinned and said nothing. He didn't look to be the brightest crayon in the box.
"I can't say that I've seen the girl." Tessa said while trying to place the name with a face. "Or at least I don't remember. I suppose we'll find out soon enough. And we have one of the new transfers and that b***h from Martial Arts class." A sneer crossed Tessa's face for a moment before she calmed herself. "I will enjoy making her life hell this week."

"That sounds just fine." Riyo agreed, since they weren't doing anything right now anyways. It'd probably take her awhile to get back into the animalistic spirit and hunting mode anyways. Hopping down branch by branch until she could go no lower, Riyo took a step off and let herself fall the last meter or two to the ground, gracefully landing on her feet as her species was expected to. She then waited for her vampire friend to lead the way.
Seeing Mitsu's enthusiasm, Desmond scratched the back of his head nervously. "I think Shun is right, Mitsu. Perhaps we should just admire them from afar." A male was never too far away from his mate, after all. That was true for most species... He didn't really fear anything that lived in the forest, but it seemed like even a feral cat could take Mitsu down.
Nami cringed at the mention of the martial arts girl. "I can't stand her or her cocky attitude." Another instance of the kettle calling the pot black. Though, in all honesty, it was a clash of egos. "Any ideas on how we're going to get her?"

"Oh," Tessa smiled as if thinking. "I may have a few plans up my sleeves." Being a little more hush about things she told Nami a few of her ideas as they headed toward the tent. Every planned seemed just as ruthless as the last. "Can't you just picture her face." Tessa giggled to herself as they arrived at their temporary home. The man servants her parents had sent were still busy making the last minute perfections to their....cottage tent. "No no no," Tessa put her hands on her hips as she looked at them all as if something were gravely wrong. "I don't want the opening toward the trees. It has to be facing slightly angled away and to the North. Fix it!"
"Y...yes ma'am," The servants stammered as they bustled about to fix the issue.
"I swear, what is with the help these days."

"Well you can go do that somewhere else then," Blade responded while shrugging them off. Turning away, he went on to continue through the woods, though more alert now. He kept his ears open for the sounds of quick footsteps through the foliage. It was hard to say for certain on what the cajun boy and his goons were planning but it was fairly safe to assume it was going to end up physical one way or another. From past experiences, this boy had a tendency to be a little more direct in his bullying than his Queen.
If he could avoid a fight here, that'd be best. The odds of taking on four football players
"Um... sure but be careful. The buck could still be 'round," nodded Bent-Tail as he followed her to watch the deer, "Did ya 'ave any forests like dis from where ye came from?"
He had just remembered that the wolf girl had transferred in, though he really didn't know where she might have moved from. It could have been anywhere really.
Frowning mildly, Shun stayed back to view the creatures from afar. He was really trying to be alert in case there was something they need to be more worried about here.

Once Tessa and Nami had moved off, poke walked over to their 'guardian' who looked like he was in the worst possible place, judging by his expression. She didn't immediately ask him though, as he was telling someone else their tent location
Following along, Varn also watched the guy give out the tents. "You sound like your in pain" he commented after the last group of students had walked off.
Having been unnoticed by all so far, Ken had been hiding behind a bolder and, like Lina, was catching up on some last minute school work for this field trip. As he wrote down some more notes, he caught sight of blade walking off into the forest. He didn't think much of it, untill 4 of the senior football players had walked off in the same direction blade did.
Now, Ken didn't know Blade very well, but even so he was not keen on letting the guy get beat up by four other people, regardless of how much he had heard Varn mention about his fighting ability. Setting his books down, he waiting until the others had disappeared into the forest before he stood up to follow. Luckily it was a forested area, as he would be able to hide more easily in a place like this.

"Is it that obvious?" Neko sighed looking over the roster. "You're the Mattix's kid right?" He looked at the roster. "Poke. Looks like you're in a tent with Lina, Mitsu, Kohaku, Tessa, and Nami. You already have....a special tent....I think. What about you?" He asked looking at Varn. The names meant nothing to him since he knew little of the social groups that went on in the school.
Slowly Mitsu edged around the tree and stood there a moment to watch the deer. It was a little closer but not by much. Surely this distance was safe? "I'll be careful." Mitsu confirmed. When Bent-tail asked her a question she gave it some thought. "Yeah, though it was on the edge of a small town. The forest stretched for miles right from our backyard." Mitsu smiled. "I always liked to explore but it often made my brother mad." She never spoke of her parents but that was mainly because she didn't know them. For as long as she could remember there had only been the face of her brother Ginji. "What about you guys?" She asked looking back at the group.
Leading Riyo onto a path, Klyde wondered what they should talk about. The usual get to know you conversation seemed in order. He was getting a little better at it, learning the conversations he needed to stay away from. "So let me ask you Riyo. What...do you think of me?" It was an odd question to start out with but he was curious.
"Why would we go anywhere else?" The Cajun asked with a grin, following Blade still. He and the football player kept a distance, never running, but picking up their pace a little. "Why in such a hurry, bro?"
The senior stepped out from behind a tree in Blade's path, the sophomore still making his way through the woods on the other side. "We just want to get to know you a little." The senior grinned. "I particularly want to know what hurts you the worst." He cracked his knuckles as he approached, ready to seize hold of Blade's shirt.

Desmond sighed as she didn't listen to the voice of reason and began creeping closer. Hopefully, he'd be wrong about this not ending well...
"I live... In a mansion." He said reluctantly, not wanting to be seen as the snooty rich kid. "In the middle of a city. the only trees are the ones in the front yard used for decoration..." He stuffed his hands in his pockets and sighed. How he hated that place...
At his question, Riyo's eyebrow raised. "What do I think of you?" She repeated, wondering exactly how to answer that. "I... I dunno. People don't usually ask me these questions..." Examining the forest, she tried to clear her mind to better answer this. "I think... You're not as tough as you try to appear." She teased and poked him in the back, not taking the question very seriously since she wasn't particularly sure how to. "And what doth thou think of me?"
