Yes? *I ask nicely to the student who raised it's hand first. I then eye Aludra with a slighly mad face epression.*

"Yeah, I was just wondering if we would be learning protego this year, or if it was for more advanced classes? I heard it was quite useful."

Protego is, as you just said quite useful and can protect you against many spells. But, as it is moderately difficult, you will not be learning it this year.

*raises hand* q: would we get in trouble if we were to use any of these spells to protect us outside hogwarts, especially in the presence of a muggle?

A smile form across Telvanni's face
" The most important thing to remember when dealing with the Dark Arts is.... "
Telvanni looks around the room and then shouts.
" CONSTANT VIGILANCE! "

*Trips on the threshold into the classroom and drops her bag* Oops! Sorry! I guess constant vigilance also means to look out for rogue steps!

It's quite alright Liviana. *smiles at Livianna* Welcome to class! We were just discussing Dark Arts and ways to defend yourself against them. *smiles at the Headmaster and then remembering the class subject, laughs* Yes, that really does help. It's best if you can avoid being in a bad situation. Avoid being hit by a spell or a curse. You may not even need magic to do so! Be vigilant!

Afternoon Professor, my name is Cloud... Takes a seat... I just wanted to comment that I am especially delighted to notice that your approach is more in the style of the great Professor Lupin, and not of a certain teacher I prefer not to speak of...*cough* Umbridge *cough*
