Zeren nodded, probably unseen in the darkness, "ok Wykla, you know him better than i do" he admitted. His mouth was going dry at the thoughts of possible cave ins, remembering the rockfall .. well remember being told about the rockfall that killed his sister.
Viska trembled, the tunnel was dark and cold, and to top it off, the tunnel snake that she'd been chasing had gotten away, she was thouroughly fed up, she was about to let out a bugle when the male popped out of between she chirped at him, though she could mostly see just his eyes glowing in the darkness, her own pale now, bordering on grey, her wing hurt and she didn't like it here, she chirped again ust before he dissapeared again.

Boreal trilled urgently and started back down the tunnel. Looking behind him to be sure they were following.
She hurried after her flit. "Well he's led me out of a here a time or two. So he knows he needs to find a way that I can go. I think it took longer since he didn't know the route between here and there. If we were trying to get out, I bet he'd of been fine." She tried to walk a little faster as the flit trilled.
Suddenly she paused. There ahead of them was a smallish hole in the wall. Boreal was hovering beside it, cheeping. "Through there? We gotta go in there?" She looked at Zeren. "Can you make it?"

Zeren followed after Wykla, "is she down there?!" he said, nerves edging his tone. "Is she hurt?!" he asked the flit, hurrying after Boreal.
Viska could hear a familiar voice, she squeaked and wriggled a little from where she was stuck, her eyes whirling her stress and now pain from her wing, as she tried to pull it from under the rock.
Zeren looked into the small space and shuddered, "I...i think so, she's there Boreal?" he questioned again,

"That's the impression I get. Boreal found us the shortest route to her. Though..." She looked at her flit, who squeaked. "I can't if she's hurt, but she's certainly trapped. C'mon Zeren!"
She practically dove into the opening. "Ouch. Watch the rocks as you come through there." Holding up her glow so he would be able to see them. "I think I hear her." Boreal appeared by Wykla and chittered. "Which way? That? Ok, go ahead and keep her calm."
Boreal appeared by her and conveyed the green's growing stress. He pointed her in the right direction. When she told him to go comfort the green, he popped between and appeared nearby Viska. Landing on a close rock he crooned soothingly. Help was coming!

Zeren nodded curtly and followed after Wykla, he was terrified of this tight spot, it was dark and enclosed and it made him feel a little bit sick, he never knew he hated tight spaces so much "good.....job i'm ... not a miner" he puffed, his heart beating in his ears so loud to cause a rockfall he thought.
Viska creeled, her noises growing weak as she tired herself out, her free wing flapping, she tugged again at the trapped one, but stopped as soon as Boreal appeared again, conveying her now apparent pain, she'd likely pulled something in her wing shoulder muscle tugging at it like she had been, if not broken something delicate. However she calmed enough to stay still and wait for help.

Wykla nodded. "I'm glad I'm in the Weyr I think." It wasn't too bad down here, but then again she was small and not trying to mine. The ceiling was secure and didn't threaten to fall on them. She offered a hand to help him through, then started the direction her flit indicated. "If we follow this tunnel, we should reach her."
Boreal moved closed to the green and touched noses with her. It would be ok! His was coming and she had the boy with her. He'd stay until the people found them. A soft hum filled the area as he tried to sooth and keep the green calm.

Zeren slowly followed Wykla, his bigger frame making it harder to move in the tunnel, not that it was small, just his mind playing tricks on him, making him more nervous than he should be. "down there?!" he said, the smallest of squeaks edging his voice, "Viskaaaa! i'm coming, don't worry" he called, his voice echoing in his ears.
Viska lay with her head on her front paws, the other touching noses with her, which she liked...a lot. She heard HER boy shouting and trilled excitedly, Her BOY was coming he would get her wing free and she could go find that tunnel snake that got away
however a certain blue flitter had other ideas, Grym grumbled and hopped off Zeren's back and down to the ground, claws raking the stone beneath them he charged up the tunnel at the sound of Viska's trilling, he chittered at her, and the other flit that was there, scolding the green, and warning the other male off a little
"Grym dont" Zeren called uselessly, that flit, jsut like Viska had a mind of his own, at least Mud had stayed calm (alseep) for the most part. He moved faster down the tunnel where he could hear the blue scolding Viska (he assumed) "Wykla, bring that glow up i can almost see them i think" he said to her, after passing her to get to his flits.

Wykla blinked as the blue ran ahead. "Guess he wanted to help." She raised the glow high to allow as much light as possible. "Is that them here? I hear Boreal." It would have been easier with her in front, but it as Zeren's flit after all. She did her best to keep the light ahead of him.
Boreal looked at the blue, almost haughty. He was here helping, which is more than what could be said about the blue. As if he had any interest in the green. He was here on his mistress' orders.

Zeren could see the shining eyes of three flits, "Wykla, she's here, so are Boreal and Grym" he called over his shoulder "Viska calm down... She's trapped Wykla, i cant...i cant get the rock off her, it's too narrow for me just there" he said, backing off after trying to get in and free the Green. Viska had started to scrabble around the rock, as much as she could while still stuck, but she listened to Zeren for once, and lay still
Grym stopped grumbling at Boreal, wriggling his scarred shoulders, he pushed against the rock, trying to help Viska and Zeren.

"Oh good!" She was relieved they had finally reached them. Even with Boreal she'd been afraid of getting lost if they had gone too much deeper.
Wykla's relief vanished when Zeren said he couldn't get in. "Here, let me try. I'm smaller." For once, being small was paying off. She gave a brief thought for her hair and started to wiggle in. It wasn't too tight a squeeze after all. "I'm here Boreal. Move blue, I'll get it." Focused on the trapped flit, she couldn't remember the blue's name.
"Alright, dun bite me and I'll get you free. Boreal make sure she holds still." Boreal turned his whirling blue eyes from his onto the green flit. He gave a commanding cheep. His would help but she had to hold still! She set the glow in a nook were it cast the best light. Reaching carefully around the rock, she began to lift it up. Slowly it inched up higher and higher. Wykla panted a little and nudged it another inch. Almost there...... and Viska was free!

eren held the glow as far forward as he could when Wykla went into the gap for him "Thank Wykla, i ....i just couldn't breathe in there, it felt like it was all closing in on me" he explained, trying to peer around to see.
"Grym! come out of the way" he called when he heard her grumble to him, which the blue did, but not to Zeren, now that he knew the silly green would be fine, he'd practically dragged the lazy brown from his spot on the stones on the floor behind the people and sent him to Zeren's bunk, now doubt when he got back there would be brown and blue forms merged in sleep on his bed.
Viska puffed out a sigh, she could see the girl coming, that wasn't her BOY... what was the Girl doing? HERS had said he was coming, where was HERS?! she started to wriggle and move away but stopped ... after all the male was bigger, and knew the Girl, maybe she would listen....for now. So she stayed still, until she could feel the rock moving off ehr ing that was, she pulled as the Girl pushed the rock, .....FREE!.... she bugled a little and almost went Between but instead rushed out past the Girl squeezing through a gap and almost exploding into Zeren's arms, chittering at him as if it had all been HIS fault.
"oh Viska! you're alright, well get your wing looked at, but it's NOT broken you silly thing" he said, holding her as tight as he dared "Thank you Wykla" he said, the relief and grattitude evident across his whole face, as it almost split in half with smiling. "She's bruised, and grazed but i think she's ok."

Wykla smiled as she heard the bugle of freedom from the little green. She couldn't have been hurt too badly to bugle like that, and then rush to Zeren. "Don't worry about it. You're just lucky you ran into me down here." Letting the rock drop, it sent an echo down the tunnel. Wykla scooped up Boreal in her arms before she turned to slip out.
She straightened and brushed dirt from her hair and clothes. "C'mon lets get out of here." Privately, she didn't want him panicking down here. A flit she could deal with, but a panicked boy was another matter. She retrieved her light, "Boreal lead out." Letting the bronze climb onto her shoulder where he could safely direct her. With a confidence of doing this many times, the girl strode down the tunnel directed by cheeps from her flit.
