Ashleigh Cardon1st year gryffindorAsleigh looked around the room as other people started to arrive. As she looked around she noticed a guy sitting by himself studying. Since she really had nothing better to do, the brunette walked over to him. "it a dance so why are you doing homework?." She took a seat across from him while waiting for an answer

When I see your smile, ------Tears run down my face, I can't replace.------ And now that I'm stronger I've figured out, How this world turns cold, And breaks though my soul. And I know I'll find deep inside me,---------I can be the one. I will never let you fall. I'll stand up with you forever. I'll be there for you through it all, || Even if saving you sends me to Heaven. 'Cause I'm here for you. ❝ Please Don't Walk Away. ❞『✮』 『✮』 ◦ ✮ ◦ ✮ ◦ ✮ ◦ ✮ ◦ ✮ ◦ ✮ ◦ ✮ ◦ ✮ ◦ ✮ ◦ The boy's eyes looked up from the pages of his History of Magic book as a girl's voice was apparently directed towards him. She was pretty, and Jamie unconsciously adjusted the neck of his dress robes. The eleven year old had two answers. The truth, and then what he would actually say. The truth was that he didn't have any friends and most of the people around him either intimidated him or were intimidated by him. The first year was naturally gifted, but he also felt rather small as the eleven year old boy he was, even if he was pretty cocky. But what he would say was..."I think I could make better use of my time. I'm not really into these dance type things." He said nonchalantly, in his fairly high, eleven-year-old's voice. He looked the girl over again, in her red dress. He thought he recognized her from classes, maybe seeing her at the gryffindor table a few times. She did look quite more mature for her age though, somehow putting the boy perhaps even more on edge than he already was. "But if you're so fond of dancing, then why aren't you out there?" His blue eyes glanced over to the dance floor like a hand gesture. ◦ ✮ ◦ ✮ ◦ ✮ ◦ ✮ ◦ ✮ ◦ ✮ ◦ ✮ ◦ ✮ ◦ ✮ ◦『✮』 『✮』

Ashleigh Cardon1st year gryffindorAshleigh shrugged before answering the guy. "The dance it to take a break from classes. Anyway,i'm here by myself that's why i'm not out on the floor" She smiled, hiding the fact that she was kind of surprised with herself for actually talking to some one instead of just keepign to herself.

·.¸¸.·´¯`·.¸¸.¤ Қɩℒℒɩʁɐ The young leprechaun flashed a brilliant, yet coy smile as she ran her fingers through her hair in an attempt to slip out the knots. She had practically forgotten about the occasion, Halloween, and she felt unprepared. The best of her pranks.. are down with careful planning after all. Suddenly, Killi realized just how long she had been silent for and quickly piped up with a hurried tone of voice. "Aw, onl' a few of the wee lil ones! I like to coo the staircases into moving more for the first years, I w'ldnt call that trouble, would you?" She asked Linda with an accent that sounded half Irish, half British, and a mix of what most wizard folk like to call 'Centaur dialec' or something silly like that; Killi couldn't remember.

Wade Raphael MckingsleyWade walked into the room noticing a few students here and their he had arrived earlier than his date though. Which wasnt new to him. His girlfriend Rosette always liked to pretty herself up for him. Which he always found adorable and cute. He loved her so. He decided that while he waited for her. He would go talk to the headmistress who seemed to be talking to the leprechaun Killi. He approached them giving them both a smile "How's it going, you two enjoying yourselves? Hope I am not interrupting anything important." (Just so you know the picture of what he looks like at the dance.)

She uses a blue long dress and blue high heels. She glanced over the room, hoping if someone was alone in this room."I forgot to invite someone over, what a let down for me",she sighed heavily as she walked over the room to take a glass of pumpkin juice.

There are things that not even I wish to remember… ♦ Linda Bella ♦ "Cordessa, you know as well as any professor, that apparating on Hogwarts Grounds is not allowed," Linda glanced at the bag in Cordessa's hands and shook her head, "No, thank you,"The Headmistress looked over at Erik, nodding to him gently, before returning her attention to the small creature speaking to her. "I would expect no less from you Killira," Linda Bella glanced over the guests who were present, noting the amount of first years, "Quite a lot to deal with, hm?" Linda looked at Wade when she heard his voice, "Hello Wade, enjoying the festivities?" Linda's voice was not unhappy, but it wasn't cheerful either. She wasn't one to truly express her emotions to simply anyone. There had to be a bond. …My past is littered with broken memories.

{ Professor Icarus Skylar } Quidditch Referee and Flying Instructor Icarus, at first, was taken aback by Loreena's comment. However, he soon realized that she simply was jesting him, he played along.
"Hey, my parents never taught me manners; I'm a Slytherin," Icarus teased. "I taught myself everything I know about such foriegn matters,"
Icarus smiled and looked casually at Cordessa, "Ooo, candy!" Icarus held his hand out like a small child waiting to receive a handfull of sweets (which was not far from what was going on) Luckily, our staff includes a lot of beautiful women. Beautiful women… which I may hit on… I hope.

Elliot Adams Salem Witch Dark and Ice Elliot checked once more that he was presentable. He wore a black suit and a green tie. His black hair was as neat as he could make it. He arranged his expression to one of polite interest, making sure he could if necessary. From what he had heard, members of very influential families in Wizarding England went to the school, and friendships could come in handy at some point. Finally ready, he closed his eyes and murmured something softly. As he spoke, he began to melt into his own shadow. Once he was in it entirely, the shadow vanished as well. *** In the Great Hall of Hogwarts, where the dance was taking place, shadows suddenly began swirling towards the center of the room. They pooled together, and out from them rose Elliot, still murmuring, eyes still shut. Once he was fully out of the shadows, he opened his eyes and looked around, as the shadows returned to their proper places. Finally, he spotted who he was looking for, standing by the wall, and headed in her direction. "Hello, Hikari. How have you been? I haven't seen you in a while," he commented, stopping in front of her. ((I am not a member, I am a guest!!)) ((Was that an okay post? Salem magic is elemental, so I assumed the Anti-apparation spell wouldn't effect shadow travel (the method Elliot used to get to Hogwarts). Is that alright?))

Elliot Adams Salem Witch Dark and Ice Elliot stiffened uncomfortably when she hugged him, but didn't complain. He had known her long enough to understand that she'd do it no matter how much he complained. He smirked at her first comment. "British wizards must be less brave then I had heard if such simple magic scared them," he said quietly. To her second comment, he shrugged. "Grandfather only let me come after I pointed out how good it could be diplomatically, so..." He looked around the great hall. "This room definitely lives up to what I had heard. The ceiling is amazing...It must have been very difficult magic..." he pondered thoughtfully. ((I am not a member, I am a guest!!))

She kissed him sweetly on the cheek, and said, "My you look handsome tonight." She gave him a deep smile, then turned and said, "Good Evening Headmistress, What a wonderful idea. How’s the school year been so far?" Rosette said with a happy smile. She watched as students meet up with their partners. She hoped soon they would be coming to her shop with their sweethearts.Esme walked in the hall she didn't have a partner, but saw," Hello Erik, do you think its to much to ask for a frog? I couldn't fit any candy in my dress...even by magic."She joked, however that being said she really really, wanted a chocolate frog. She looked at the one she was eating with longing.

Elliot Adams Salem Witch Dark and Ice Elliot thought for a minute. "Well, the mortals have killed the economy again. In the magical world, well...we've been rebuilding well." Out of the corner of his eye, he watched Hikari. He hadn't been able to find out exactly why she had been exiled from Salem, but he knew it had something to do with the event several summers before. Perhaps now he could learn something... ((I am not a member, I am a guest!!))

Erik Casey Moore000000CARETAKER0000 don't underestimate the one legged jerk Erik looked up, and offered Esme a rare smiile, though some could have called it a half smirk. "No? Not even one?" He chuckled, eyeing her dress. He couldn't imagine fitting a slip of parchment in there, nevermind a chocolate frog. He nodded, though, pulling one from beneath his admittedly plain black robes. "Here you are, then." He held it out to her, catching the slight nod from the headmistress, and nodded back. Things seemed to be going well, and he didn't even see anyone making messes. Which was good. He didn't much feel like cleaning...though, he supposed, he could always make the student clean it. That'd make 'em sorry; wasting away their night cleaning up whatever prank they thought it'd be clever to set off.
