First I'll start off by saying I love Honey. She is very interesting, well thought out and put together. Can't wait to see her come into play.
I only have two real questions for you:
The first being, she is smart, yes and could easily pull A's out her bottom, but she has chosen a career because her parent approve and support it? This goes well with her virtues and flaws but at the same time I want to know how she deals with the disappointment in/or unhappiness with herself. She comes across as a people pleaser but what about herself? Does that make sense?
Also ... Surely she realizes even if space is unattainable a career dealing space isnt? Even if her parents don't support it, its her passion and there scholarships [full with an excellent GPA], financial aid and of course work study to get her by two of which she is already utilizing so why not? Afterall she will get up in the middle of the night to watch a meteor shower. Again I hoping I am making sense.
Again she is coming across as somewhat of a people pleaser, with her reliable and protective traits in mind I ask, how would she react to or go about a teacher and/or friend who sees her potiental and disappointed in ita wastedness. Who might often be generally disappointed or unhappy with her? [This is really my main thing here]
Okay, so maybe three.
No art nessary, but I would love a critique back for Seraphina or Xander.
Edit: I nearly forgot. The one thing about her attack. You said her attacks really do restrict breathing? So my question is this did you think about, especially with the character panicking possible hyper ventilating, how long it takes for the average human to pass out from lack of oxygen or to physically drown?
