As a kid, I wanted to be an inventor. Then, that got changed to something more realistic: Mechanical Engineer. Then, I totally lost any idea of what I wanted to be. I considered Firefighter, Pilot, Military Mechanic, and now I'm back to considering Engineer.

I remember the toys I used to play with all the time were the building blocks and lego types of stuff. I remember I've always liked to build stuff. I think the first set that I used when I was six or so were the old metal erecter sets. You actually used nuts and bolts and the kit came with and motor and gear box you could build and wire up. I remember the first moving vehicle I made looked a bit like Leonardo's tank and was about the size of a housecat.

Swordfighting when young, I remember in one fight I wielded a 20 foot branch as a spear against my brothers. I managed to keep them away until my younger brother figured out how to run along the damn thing.

At that point we would just continue with our fists and legs.

Sometimes my friends and I would swordfight using full body, leading to knocking away swords for a sweep kick into stabbing them on the ground.. Mind you, we'd use boffers for this, but still..

So I'm in one of those classes that are supposed to help you figure out what you want to do with your life. I took a couple of tests last time I was in it.
According to one of the test here are the top ten jobs suited for my personality: Advertising Account Manager Musician Broadcast Journalist Horticulturalist Business Education Teacher Flight Attendant Travel Consultant Social Worker Housekeeping/Maintenance Manager Parks & Recreation Manager
I'm ********.

I had a friend whose class suggested he become a missionary despite his strong anti-religion leanings.

Tis the reason I never put much faith in classes or programs that tell you what you are good at. If ye are bad at your job, you learn or you quit. Tis the way I lived my life. It also is the reason I have some of the weirdest combinations of skills.

Wow I horribly misread that now. I thought for a moment you were saying that you make essentially one dollar an hour. Ok, now that is a bit of difference in money.
