The librarian looked thoughtful.
"Well, early October might work. I'll be running a Haunter House here through the middle and end, to Halloween, so it might not be the most opportune time to do anything else." He chuckled, "unless you have a Halloween specific show, but even so... I'm not sure a good first impression is made by scaring kids."
He was fine with the first weekend in October, and offered it to Azzo for him to come in and do his sample show, as it were. He'd even make fliers and posters for it, to be handed out in the children's section.

Azzo nodded thinking. "That sounds good to me" He paused, "Hm. I don't think I have a headless horse man puppet but I might have something that could work for Ichabod Crane."
Azzo shrugged, "I think you're right it might not work scaring kids the first show, better off saving that for the second." He grinned, "Hm... maybe Rumpelstiltskin or something for the first show? I'm afraid I don't have my whole army, I'm working on replacing a few missing puppets. I have some animals and a decent selection of Knight and Princess puppets, sadly no dragon just yet."
He looked at Tony, "What do you think?"

Tony nodded, though he bristled a bit when Azzo mentioned knights. He didn't comment, though, not finding it out of place for it to come up in conversation, and he shook his head slowly.
"That sounds fine. Whatever you want to do will work," he said jovially, actually rather liking the idea now. They would just have to see how it went.
He grinned, glad it was settled, and offered the boy his hand. "I suppose it's a deal, then." He thought they might as well shake on it, to make it a promise and a deal. In any case, it was just the polite thing to do.

Azzo thought he noticed a small, unhappiness about Tony when he mentioned Knights, though he said nothing of it figuring he was just imaging things. After all, knights were often a common subject so were princes and princesses in children's books.
Perhaps a trick of the mind, either way Azzo shook it off mentally and smiled, "Awesome!" He agreed taking the offered hand in the familiar firm business shake. Gramps would've loved this, his own grandson making deals, much like he'd seen his grandfather do. The only difference was that Azzo's grandfather got paying gigs, Azzo, well for now he'd have to settle for proving himself worthy of a few pennies.
"I'll have it ready in a weekend or two then, before the Halloween festivities begin." He said with a smile, "Perhaps I could acquire a few more puppets before the Halloween stuff and do a special haunted showing if things work out well? If that is, I can find something that kids might enjoy? Ichabod or maybe the Great Pumpkin..."
He noticed what looked like someone heading towards them. Perhaps they were going to check out or something. He frowned, "Maybe if you wouldn't mind I could swing by one night to go over things and make sure everything's to your liking as well?" He added, not sure how he'd be heading back home considering he'd been avoiding encounters with Youma since he woke up from coma.

Tony laughed and nodded, glad to see that Azzo was so keen on his puppet shows. He would still have to see how things went, but having a halloween show during the haunted house, for the smaller kids, might not be a bad idea. He intended to do each floor as a different level of 'scary', since the library was large enough to accommodate this.
The first floor, where the children's books were, would be the least scary anyway, and something to distract them if they were upset would be a good idea. But he'd have to think about it.
Seeing the man coming over to check out a book, Tony nodded at Azzo and offered him a warm grin.
"Of course! You know the hours. Come by whenever you feel like it, I'm always here."

Azzo nodded with a grin, "Alright, I'll see you then! Hmm maybe we can figure out something for a makeshift 'stage' that's not too big, to keep some of the mystery."
He smiled and waved, "Thanks Tony!" Before retreating to leave out the door, at least now he had a foot in the door.
