 LumonLumon nodded politely. "Thank you very much, Maxi." He replied quietly, turning back to Lumi.
He paused, smiling as he admired her beauty for possibly the thousandth time that evening.
"You really look pretty tonight, Lumi." He admitted, blushing again. "I feel rather out-classed~" He added with a good-natured flicker of his antennae orbs.
Feeling embarrassed, he started eating his meal, which, by the way, was one of the best he'd ever tasted.

 LumiLumi had just taken a bite of her veggies when Lumon's compliment came.
Her cheeks went rosy red and she swallowed, almost forgetting to chew.
"Y-You look r-really nice, too..." She replied quietly.
That food really was A-class stuff.
She'd never tasted anything so good.
Maxi's team was lucky to have such a chef.

LumonHe felt a flicker of pride as she complimented him in return; if Lumi thought he looked well, that was more than enough praise to please him.
As they finished their meal, Lumon placed the due payment on the counter, and rose gently from his place, and waved a fin in a gesture to help Lumi up.
"I'm... I'm glad you came with me tonight, Lumi...." He told her quietly. "...Y-y-you... You're r-really special to me, although I d-don't say it often...." He blushed deeply, glancing at the floor for a moment as he regained his composure. At least he knew she wouldn't laugh at him; she was far too sweet.

LumiLumi blushed a little more and took Lumon's fin as an assist for her getting out of her chair.
Lumon's words to her made her heart beat so fast.
He was such an amazing Pokemon.
"Lumon..."
The female closed her eyes and floated forward, gently placing her lips to her lover's.

LumonLumon kissed her back, feeling his heart throb with a mixture of pure joy, and... was that lust? No, that was not something to feel in public, however beautiful his companion.
As they pulled apart, he smiled warmly, taking her fin in his.
"We'll have to do something like this again sometime~" He noted as they left the restaurant, his heart still soaring from the feeling of being with Lumi.

 ~ Jasper~ Jasper stopped in front of the beautiful Japanese style building. Taking in the gorgeous architecture before entering, Chance still firmly clamped to his scythe-hand. The inside of the building was just as beautiful as the outside, the scenery was exquisite, the perfect atmosphere for the two. The pair was greeted by a small Makuhita, holding a small clipboard, "Table or other?" Jasper took a minute to consider then nodded, "Other please~" The small Makuhita nodded with a small, knowing smile, before leading them to the large room that connected to lobby. Instead of taking them to one of the many tables scattered throughout the room, he lead them to a large table that attached to what appeared to be the kitchen. Jasper released Chance's hand before taking a seat, then gestured for Chance to join him. The small Makuhita bowed, "Someone will be with you shortly." Jasper nodded, then continued to wait patiently for Chance.

 ChanceChance looked around in awe as they walked through the building.
How beautiful... How... romantic~
He remained quiet as they were both seated.
He didn't really want to say anything, Jasper was being the responsible one and taking care of everything.
The Gliscor nodded to the Makuhita and his eyes went to a door, where smoke was trickling out.
"... What do you think is in there...?" He asked his lover softly.

~ Jasper~ At Chance's question, Jasper followed his line of sight, noticing the smoke before the actual door. A twinge of alarm struck him momentarily, was there a fire in the restaurant?! Wait a second, the smoke actually smelled good, like roasting meats and vegetables. Piecing it together, he turned to Chance, smiling, "That's probably the kitchen." A sudden small rumble echoed in Jasper's belly. Wow, he had been hungrier than he thought. I wonder when that other person will "be with us"... He mused.

 Chance---&--- MaxiHowever, the source of the smoke wasn't what Jasper or Chance had expected.
As Maxi entered the room, it was revealed it was coming from a cigar, which he stuck in an ash tray by the door as he wheeled out a cart.
"Lovers again, no?" H said as he approached the table.
Chance's face went a little red.
That Toxicroak knew love when he saw it, it seemed.
"And vhat' are ve' eating today?"

~ Jasper~ Jasper merely smiled at the Toxicroak's comment, having already become used to his new status with Chance. The smell coming from Maxi's cigar however, made Jasper cringe a little. It was quite off-putting, but he'd have to suck it up. After thinking for a moment he responded, "I'll have an order of mixed shellfish and a side of steamed rice." He momentarily paused, taking a quick glance at Chance, who seemed rather busy blushing at the moment. "And my partner will have some beef in teriyaki sauce, cooked medium rare, and a side of roasted vegetables." Satisfied with his order, Jasper turned to Chance, hoping that he was too.

Chance---&--- MaxiChance didn't speak up.
He was rather happy that Jasper had ordered for him, it saved him the effort of thinking too hard about it.
He rest his head on Jasper's shoulder and watched as the Toxicroak nodded.
"Yes, alright. Do me favor. You try 'zis for me?" He asked.
Reaching down to the cart he had brought, he took out two bowls with large spoons in them.
He then removed a warm pot from the tray and poured a very thin vegetable soup into each bowl.

~ Jasper~ When the thin soup was presented to him, Jasper regarded it curiously. It certainly didn't look very appetizing, thin, nearly colorless, and it seemed to be void of flavor. Well, he had never been one to be rude, so carefully, he lifted the bowl with his scythes, and cautiously sipped a bit of the broth. As the thin broth entered his mouth, the mixture of flavors simply enveloped him in pure euphoria. Looks were most certainly deceiving when it came to this soup. He almost asked Maxi what was in it, but he decided against it, figuring the recipe would most likely be secret. Before taking another sip, he turned to Chance, "Oh Chance~ You have to try this, it's amazing~" he then proceeded to continue to sip the soup, savoring every last drop.

Chance---&--- MaxiThe Gliscor blinked when Jasper spoke of the soup.
Woah, was it really that good?
Delicately taking the spoon with one of his claws, he sipped it.
Wow, it really did taste great!
Almost like a tasty stew condensed into a warm thin broth!
"Arceus, it's great!"
Maxi smiled a little bit.
"You tell me if you vant' refills of 'zat. I'm off to get your rice," he said as he turned and went back into the normal kitchen.
Steamed rice couldn't be cooked with the tabletop stove, but they usually had some pre-made for just such an occasion.

~ Jasper~ Jasper regarded Maxi with a slight nod as he left to get the rice he ordered. He continued to sip the soup slowly, occasionally chewing on pieces of seaweed or lettuce as the followed the current of the broth. After what seemed like only seconds, the soup was all gone. Jasper had to admit, he was disappointed it was gone, but he didn't want to fill up on soup, now did he? He set the bowl down carefully, and turned to his partner. "I'm glad you're okay, Chance." He smiled sweetly and just continued to watch him drink his soup. It had been a strange thing to say, sure, and maybe even a bit random, but Jasper felt like it needed to be said. A world without Chance was something that Jasper didn't even want to think about.

Chance---&--- MaxiChance blushed softly as Jasper spoke.
"I love you..." He said quietly, leaning over and kissing Jasper's cheek.
Maxi emerged, and smirked when he spotted the little kiss.
He wasn't gay or anything, but he knew cuteness when he saw it.
"Z'ere ve' are," He said, putting the bowl of steamed rice down in front of the Kabutops.
He then began his show, starting with the usual trick of setting the top of the stove on fire.
