..."I figured you would." He grinned as he followed silently behind her. He wouldn't attack him anymore, especially since he was now cut off as well. Maybe Kaether or that little girl could convince him of his mistake. *Maybe I should try to lose my Jenova cells too...* He shook his head and continued onwards to Shinra Tower...

To the town of Kalm, the sound of a motorbike approaching didn't settle to well with them. As Kadaj sped into the small town, Five Shadow Creepers ran along side of the two figures on the bike. People ran into there homes, and locked the doors. As though -that- would stop the silver-haired warrior. The Shadow Creepers circled the large well of the town, though they did not attack anyone.

"It's T-i-m-e! " Kadaj threw his head back in laughter as he slid off the bike, his boots clattering to the ground. " Now, where are our friends?" His mako-green blues scanned the area, as they came to rest on the pair of scientists walking out of the building, toward him. They looked deathly nervous.

"There.....there...was..go way..to...counteract the..Lifestream cells..." He was shaking with fear, as he could barely get the words out of his mouth.

"Oh? Well..As you can see..." He motioned toward his Shadowy pets, which growled and snapped there jaws just close enough to the man to give him the scare of his life.. "Thanks to my little sister, SHE found a way to counteract it, and I have been re-connected with mother.." He looked back at the girl, who was staying away from the matter, next to the bike. "Maybe she could be a better scientist then you."

"Then..you won't harm us? Why are you hear? " The man asked, stepping back ever so slightly.

"I will let you live. It would be pointless to kill off the one who I might need later, hmm?" He seemed to think for a moment, looking around the town.. "However, you did disobey me. I can't just let you off the hook. You must learn a lesson.."

The other men scattered away to hide, as the one that spoke backed up farther. "Sephriea...Remember how we talked about letting you in on the fun? This is the time. Come. " Shadow Creepers slowly began to surround the man, as Sephriea walked her way to the scene..

"Kill him. " His eyes narrowed.This was one way to kill her innocence off completely.

"....Kill..him? " The small girl turned to the petrified man, he had such fear in his eyes, it made her sick. She didn't want to even harm anyone unless they did something to deserve it, but this wasn't right.. "No..I can't..I wont do that.." She shook her head..

"If you don't...how can I trust you?"

"I..I helped you get Jenova back! You don't trust me after that? Killing a innocent person isn't going to prove anything..Why are you still being so mean? I wanted you to be happy, and come back to MY family..I really wanted you and Keather to be a part of our family.."

The man sighed, raising his hand into the air, the shadowy formed monsters disappearing into there very own shadow. "No. I told you before, I've done to much to just change everything. If you think Sephiroth, of all people would accept me, you are a little confused... All he wants to do right now is kill me. Get off this family idea, it wont happen. "

"Then, take us to Icicle Inn. I want to show you something that my mother showed me."

"You never give up.." He sighed, as Shadow Creepers appeared once again, though it was only two. "Guard the bike. Anyone touches it, and... "

"Kadaj!" Sephriea glared up at him..

"...." Without another word, Kadaj took Sephriea, and the two vanished into a dark mist..

Upon entering Kalm they put the chocobo's in the stables in front of town. Valencia walked into the town and Firion followed closely behind her. Valencia then stopped to enjoy the feeling of being back home and while he was off looking around, he bumped into her. "Heh... Sorry." He scratched his head and Valencia just giggled. "Its alright. This way." She then took him to another part of town and pulled out a key. Firion then asked her: "What did you need to come check?" Valencia chuckled a little. "A small friend of mine. And just a fair warning: Don't criticize him on his appearance or his size. He'll try and bite your nose off for it." Firion looked at her a little confused when she unlocked the door and opened it.

She walked in and Firion did and closed the door. Valencia turned on a few lamps to light the room, then he heard her say. "Clinger." He repeated what she said. "Clinger?" He then heard something scurry down the stairs and then it was in front of him. A odd looking, ferret sized dragon that looks more like a little lizard. The dragon made a weird snarling sound. Its head then looked at Valencia then it scurried to her, ran up her body without scratching her, to her shoulder plate and nuzzled her. It purred a bit like cat. "This is Clinger. I call him that cause when ever someone criticizes on what he looks like he clings at their faces and bites their nose." Firion laughed a bit but he walked over to Val to try and touch the little dragon. He raised his hand and reached for it slowly. Clinger sniffed him a bit then let him scratch his head. Then Firion went to scratch under his chin. "Wait!- But too late, he did and Clinger fell asleep instantly on Val's shoulder. Firion stopped and just looked at the dragon. It seemed a lot cuter when it slept. "Is that suppose to happen?" Valencia laughed and picked up Clinger off her shoulder. "Its strange... With some dragons including these kinds, you scratch them under the chin it just knocks them out." She held the little dragon close to her as he slept like an infant. "How did you find him?" Valencia looked at him. "Actually, Kagayaki and Inabikari did. I just took him in before some slayers could get to him." They both talked for awhile until Clinger woke up.

Two people would suddenly appear in kalm, as Neo threw Jake to the ground from a headlock "now then... I think you have something of mine" he said, Jake grunted as the katana appeared in his right hand, though his right arm seemed to be trying to tell him something, he had learned from the past that it was a good idea to listen to it, he focused on hearing what it was trying to say cont-... Ne-... Under control.... Neo under control? Was that what it was trying to say? Jake shook his head slightly, the katana disappearing again "you're under control Neo, get a hold of yourself!" He said, Neo grunted "what.,.? Hey, this isn't me... I'm not trying to do this... Urg!" he held onto his head, "agh! Who is doing this?!" he asked into the air, looking around, not seeing much except scared town people, Jake rushed to him, putting an arm on his shoulder "Neo! Come on! Fight it! You're stronger! It's your body, it's under your control!" he said, trying to help him out of this, Neo shook his head slightly, punching him in the gut and kicking him back "urg... Who the hell is doing this?" he grunted, as he charged at Jake and started to attack him, Jake did the best he could to dodge, he didn't want to hurt him, it wasn't his fault...

Neo grunted "what the hell are you?!" he grunted as he continued to attack Jake, Jake grunted, grabbing Neo's arm with his right one and throwing him aside so he could take out his revolver and shoot at the monsters, the katana appearing in his right arm as he jumped towards the monsters and began to slash at them, hacking away at them to try to protect the townspeople, it took a bit until he finally finished the last one of the ones she summoned, suddenly feeling a blade go through his flesh, as a sword went straight through his back he gasped painfully, the blade ripping out of him, as Jake fell to the ground, holding his gut where he had been stabbed is this is? Is this the end...? Neo grunted as he pulled out the blade, holding it up as if he was about to finish the job, though he started to resist a bit, stopping himself before he brought the blade down, though he couldn't probably hold out long, he growled at the woman "I'll kill you...!" he said angrily to her

Neo had begun to put an end to Jake, coming down with his sword when suddenly he was free, it seemed Jake's girlfriend had intervined, though, there wasn't a pleased look on neo's face, before Unisha could use another attack Neo was suddenly in front of the evil woman, his blade through her gut now, giving her a cold stare "No one..." he twisted the blade "controls" he braced for his next move "Neo Liler!" he ripped the blade out of her, by cutting through the side, and pushed her, either to where she'd fall to the ground, or she'd back up a ways, Jake shook his head quickly, as to shake off the pain that Unisha had cured him of, first thing he did was pull out his revolver and shoot the new enemies, which weren't too powerful at least, then he looked at Unisha thank you, I'm sorry for leaving before, I should've helped... he thought to Unisha, talking about when Neo had taken him away of course

Neo looked at the cretures "inscects..." he dis and reappeared around, killing plenty of them while Jake shot at some himself, plus what Unisha did, it didn't take very long at all for them all to be gone, Neo glanced at Jake "my apologies" he said, reffering to him being taken control of obvioulsy, he turned to Jake, glancing at Unisha "so, it's girlfriend to the rescue, huh?" he said, though not too joking really "I'll leave you two to talk" he said, vanishing after he did, Jake shook his head slightly "she's not my... Ehh, forget it" he said, shaking his head slightly, then turning to Unisha, he nodded slightly "I'm alright, thanks to you, I owe you one" he said, still thinking he should've helped more before, he walked to her "I really do, and sorry for not being there before, I hope you didn't get hurt" he said, looking at her, his the glow in his arm taking a new color to fit his mood, taking the color red, he didn't really notice, he usually did when it happened, but right now he was too worried about Unisha
