Taka's answering grin was both uncannily engaging and full of mischief, as shyly she held the rabbit up for Eamane to see.

"He keeps my secrets," was all she said. Then she was studying the small woman in front of her once again. There was something terribly soothing about her voice; Taka was oddly almost mesmerized by it. The bunny dangled by one ear, dragging the ground in stoic silence.

((Gah, whitebunnierabbit has gotten me to where I can't spell "bunny" anymore, lol.))

"Ooooh. Faras has wings too. He can fly, but doesn't really fly much, cause most of the people he travels with cant fly, and he says that it's rude to just leave them behind and whatnot.." she rambled.
Oh yes, perhaps that pot of coffee wasn't a good idea.

Eamane didn't have to crouch down to look at the bunny. "I bet he keeps them very well." she looked around in mock suspision and then leaned close to whisper "I still have a teddy bear i tell my secrets too. He's even more ragged than your bunny!" She laughed again

Sarielle gasped in spite of herself at the sight of the small wings. The words tumbled from her mouth, helter-skelter, before she even realized she was speaking. "You're not a-" At the last moment, she bit back the remark, hoping in vain that the girl had not overheard.

Is it possible there were others out there like Shayna, Taka and Tokki? she wondered, this time to herself.

((Sorry if this gets confusing, but Sari and Taka are doing two different things right now. sweatdrop ))

"Faras?" Owle asked, just because. "I usually travel alone, so I fly a lot."

She released her hair, letting it fall down her back once more, and turned to face Subo. "Anyway, um, that description didn't help much...um...was there, maybe a sign with the donut shop's name on it? Or, if you could remember what color the building was, that would help a lot."

Taka's eyes were huge. That sort of candor and belief in what she was told wouldn't last for long, Sarielle feared; but it was such a beautiful thing while it DID last.

"Can you trust him?" she whispered back, excited by the "covert" conversation.

Sarielle was vaguely aware that Eamane was talking to her; but it was Ea, and she trusted her, so she didn't give it much thought.

"Doughnuts?" she said instead. "I-I'm sorry, I thought I overheard something about doughnuts? If you're looking for a shop, there's one just around the corner, about two blocks down," she offered, still watching the woman with the wings out of the corner of her eye.

Owle heard the gasp from behind her, and the remark that followed it. Curious, she turned to see what had caused it. The woman was staring straight at her...oh. Her wings?

Owle squirmed in place, wishing she were invisible. She could shrink, but that would probably just make the woman gasp more. Oh, gods, please don't let her be another mutie hater, please...

"Not a what?" Owle asked, trying to sound as natural as possible.

"Oooh, he's my husband." She said. "Personally, I think he just likes to walk."

"Eh, dont worry about it," she said, waving her hand around as if to dismiss the subject. "I'll find it eventually. Hopefully, if I take long enough, everyone'll be too busy satisfying their donut craving that they'll forget about me being so late.....Wonder if I throw the donuts through a window if they'll get too distracted to see me sneak through the door..." she mused.

Eamane nodded her raven head seriously "you bet I can... I've had him for a reeeeaaly long time and he's never told on me" The little girl was adorable, innocence was definately a blessing

((We overlapped a bit; you can fix if you like or not. razz lol. My reply here shouldn't matter either way.))

Sarielle bit her lip, pulling her feigned attention away from the woman looking for doughnuts. Gah, she'd overheard after all. "I was going to say you're not...an angel, are you?" she ended lamely.

She'd never felt so utterly rediculous in her entire life.

((@__@;; wah, didn't see that Sari))

Subo turned around slowly to face the woman who gave her directions to the shop
"....Yaargh! Thank you sososo much!" she said. Completly forgetting about the fact that she usually kept the rather odd appendages on her back (courtesy of a very irritated and slightly squished earth sprite) curled up, she began to twitch them about excitedly.Four spider-like arms wrapped themselves around her torso, and another two draped themselves over her shoulders.

"...Yarrrrggh." she said, slapping herself in the forehead. At that, the spidery arms folded themselves back up against her back.

(( ninja here's a reference piccu, if anyone's wondering. ))

((I'm just going to leave it and pretend it was consistent. razz ))

Owle would have laughed at the doughnut seeking woman's words if she weren't so busy being perplexed by the 'you're not a-' woman.

Owle stared at Sari. Then stared some more. Then cocked her head to one side. Was this woman...hitting on her? It was a pretty standard pick up line, and with the wings and all, it got used on her more often than any other...plus, the woman looked embarrassed enough...

But that seemed out of place with the gasp, and Owle wasn't in to girls, so she'd better just take the question literally and get it out of the way.

"No...I'm not. As far as I know, anyway," Owle answered awkwardly. "If I am an angel, I'm the worst angel there is; I'm pretty good friends with a couple of demons."

((Ooh...pretty piccie.))

Owle glanced back at the doughnut seeking one as she heard a cry of 'Yaargh!' from her general direction, just in time to see the spider like appendages.

Interesting. Owle went back to staring at the angel seeking one, who she found infinitely more perplexing.
