"Eh," was the sheepish sound, sounding perhaps a little bit embarrassed. "My one Pokemon, a Charizard, is really moody and aggressive. I just can't seem to control him." He sighed lightly, "Why do you think they put me on guard duty down here?" It was a pretty dismal and boring job after all, if the reaction from the guy who just passed was any clue.
"Oh, well in that case... we do have both and more." Will grinned slightly as he took the detour into the small cafeteria. The man picked out a few items, namely a Magikarp sandwich, some fried Pidgey, and a cup of coffee.

"Charizard, thats the big dragon one right? I've noticed that a lot of people seem to have trouble with that pokemon" She noticed how embarrassed he looked about the situation, and it only drive the fact more when he said its why he's put on guard duty. She could relate to what he was feeling, in a way.
"Why don't you get another pokemon? one that won't be as disobedient" she asked.
Faleen wasn't hungry, so she didn't take any food, but she did get some Coffee when they passed, admittedly feeling a little awkward taking it, since she didn't technically belong here.
"everything is so compact here" she noticed as she took a look around the cafeteria, so used to the one at HQ

Will nodded solemnly, for Charizard was indeed a difficult Pokemon to train. He knew this all too well.
"I've thought about it," he admitted. "But that would just be the easy way out. I'm not ready to give up on it yet."
Will took his food and found himself a place to sit, expecting that Faleen would just follow. He smirked a little at her observation. "Its a bit cramped, but you get use to it," he agreed. After all, you couldn't expect much more from a base that was hidden in an old subway shaft.

His answer, while at first caused her to wear a puzzled expression, slowly gave way to a small smile. She could respect that answer
"Yes, I understand" she paused while she followed him, setting her coffee down and taking a moment to unzip the Jacket and work it off, draping it over her seat.
"Do you have instruction classes here? opportunities to learn from the elite?" she asked "I just took a class that helped better explain the training of pokemon,"
The grunt then sat down, closing the warm cup in both her hands "I get the feeling training down here would be a bit more difficult though."

Will raised his brows from behind his visor. "Classes? I didn't know those were offered, maybe I should look into that. We only have one elite stationed here, actually." That was probably why he hadn't heard of it, classes were probably a rarity in the outpost considering the one elite was probably obscenely busy.
"Well, we do have a couple training rooms, but yeah.. its not the most ideal. What did you learn in your class?"

"they're very useful, if you are having trouble I would recommend them, I'm quite new to pokemon myself, and the Elite that have run the classes are very skilled" she added with a soft smile over the rim of her mug, taking a moment to drink before continuing.
"What we learned so far was a certain technique to training. using rewards to achieve the desired behavior. I don't think I fully understand it quite yet myself," she shook her head softly "you can't just take pokemon apart and fix the problem, thats how I usually deal with situations"

Deciding to partake of his sandwich, Will bit into it as he listened to Faleen talk. He seemed interested and gave her his full attention. He couldn't help another chuckle at her final comment.
"No, that's certainly not an option."
Taking a sip of his coffee, the grunt tapped a finger against the table thoughtfully. "I would love to go, but I doubt my schedule will allow a trip to the HQ any time soon."

"because you have a trip to consider as well" that certainly didn't help his situation, seeming to be stuck in a rut, having a pokmeon that needed hard training, and no time to train it, or properly learn what he needed.
"I wouldn't mind passing on whats taught at the lessons to you. if I'm permitted to come down and help out here, then I'm bound to run into you more." not like it was very big here anyway.

Will nodded, for that was certainly the case. There were several factors that played into why he couldn't easily visit HQ, thus he was indeed stuck in a rut.
The man smiled at Faleen's offer. "If you have the time for it, I would certainly appreciate that, thanks." This was followed by another sip of his coffee and bite of his sandwich.
Speaking of coming down here to help... "How is that going by the way? You're into... mechanics and robotics, right?"

"I wouldn't mind at all," she said with a little shake of her head "I don't know if I would be the best to re teach, but I'm willing to do what I can."
She returned the smile politely, before glancing back down in her mug, putting a hand under her chin.
"Well, I'm not sure yet, I'm putting an application together now. I messed up pretty bad a while ago, so I have that mistake hanging over me to worry about. But I'm going to do my best"
she answer, smiling softly again.
"is there anything you really want to do?" she asked looking back over at him curiously

"Anything would probably help," Will replied. He wasn't even going to mention the embarrassing situation he'd had a while back when trying to steal a girl's Pokemon.
"I know all about making mistakes, so I understand. But I'm sure you'll be fine."
Now he started to work on the fried Pidgey as he contemplated her question. "I'm not sure. I joined just so that I could have a paycheck, so anything is better really."

She was going to have to do a little studying herself on the training, make this count.
She smiled a little weakly, "well, they happen, so long as we learn from them I suppose."
He didn't sound like he had an path for his ambitions, that was usually a good start, unless now he was just focusing on getting that Charizard trained.
"It always helps to have a goal to aim for. would be something to think about"

That weak smile was mirrored on Will's own face.
"Right, I should do that," he agreed. His fingers fiddling absently with a piece of the fried Pidgey.
After a moment of silence, the grunt shook his head. "Anyway, was there anything you wanted to see or do while you were here?"

She tilted her head up a little, thinking about the question.
"I wouldn't mind a look around, or if there is a higher up here I can talk to..."
finishing off the last of her coffee, and standing up to depose of the cup.
"and if its okay, I can take a peek as a couple of the machines you mentioned needing work on?"

"Actually, I believe the one elite that is in charge here is off today. I'm sure if you talk to your superior though, something can be arranged."
Will watched as Faleen got up to dispose of her cup. He wasn't quite done yet though, but almost. The grunt finished off the remained of his food, then soon downed the rest of his coffee as well.
Once he was done, Will got up to dispose of his trash also. "Sure, the ones I know about are mostly computers. One terminal has been completely out of service for a couple weeks now."
