"Good" he replied as he snapped a nod. He watched as she tried to salute him and he only raised any eyebrow. He implored her actions, but it was slightly offensive in the long run. He decided not to let the gesture bother him, as he shook his head. "Excellent" he replied again.
Knowing she understood him, he wasted no time turning fast and racing down the beach, looking this way and that, before slowing to a jog. He decided he had gone far enough one way and decided to just see what the forest had to offer

Turning back around and looking to their new found campsite, the vixen knew there was much work to be done before night fall....but she was supposed to rest. Turning her head to see the fleeting frame of her mate vanish on the horizon she decided to take his instructions seriously and do minimal work until she felt better. Reaching down to pick up her back and set it inside, Koyuki decided it would be best to seek out some water....perhaps a nice soak would do her wonders.
"Walking is pretty much taking it easy, anyways." She reasoned before setting out, making sure as she walked through the woods to make mental markers to find her way back.
Finding a small trickling stream, a few tiny ponds from what she could only fathom was from the recent bouts of storms and of course an ocean inlet with seawater; the vixen sighed and scratched her head. "There has to be something around here....." Continuing on, it wasn't until she heard splashing did she spot what she'd been looking for through a patch of trees. Bird flapped and splashed along the surface as she neared, grinning ear to ear as she was thankful to have finally found something.

As he charged into the forest, he was quick to find what appeared to be a small set up of civilization, or something of the like. It wasn't much. A shelter made of leaves and twigs, held up like a lean to, a small area for a fire pit, and a few scattered bones of hunted animals. Thankfully, Jerome could tell none were fox bones, so he didn't see the need to worry too much, but he was still curious. "Could this be the thing we were looking for?" he said as he poked his head in the shelter, surprised to find no one was there.
In fact, there were no signs of any recent activity. At least not withing the past few hours. "Maybe it's on a hunt?" he though to himself as he paced around. He soon found footprints. They were large compared to normal standards, and they were very weird. He really couldn't make them out as he wasn't entirely sure what he was looking at, but he did follow the footprints and the broken twigs to where there was a small pond. "Well at least I found water..." he said, but just as he did, he looked up and say Koyuki.
"What are you doing here?"

"I'll have to tell Jerome about this when he gets back..." She decided, breaking out of the treeline to head to the water. Although she was sure the water was going to be cold compared to her standards anything would due at this point, she just wanted to freshen up and hopefully that would rid her of this uneasy feeling. However it was a short lived notion as her ear flicked up to a familiar voice; her head following to look at Jerome also coming out of the wood work.
"Jerome?" She spoke in a bewildered tone, before blinking twice and putting on a smile. "I told you I wanted to bathe....I figured it would be a nice way to relax and help me feel better. I didn't think it would be as far but I made sure to set an easy pace..."
None the less, she turned to face him and tilted her head, wondering if he was even close to being done his recon yet. "What about you? Did you find anything interesting?" Well, at least now she didn't need to tell him she found water since they both seemed to have found it.

"But...." he sighed. He did tell her to take it easy..but he wanted her to take it easy at the camp. What were to happen if she were gone when he came back? Then he'd search all over to find her and so on. It was just a snowball effect scenario. While he was glad she was right in front of him, he couldn't help but feel a tad miffed that she ventured so far...even at an easy pace. He sighed again.
"Koyuki..I...." he stopped as something suddenly picked up on his radar. He looked to where the pinging was coming from and saw the most Bizarre creature glaring at him with red eyes. There was just something about that creature that told Jerome to run, but priorities. "Koyuki...go back to the camp. Get in the tent..and don't you dare leave until I get back" he instructed in a serious manner. He didn't know if this thing was dangerous or not, and if so, he didn't want her to get dragged in

"But.....? I know what makes me feel better, Jerome....and being clean is one of them; we have been running all day..." Well, she didn't need to explain how sweaty it was under a suit she wasn't used to wearing and not used to running so long. As a frown settled on her face and her paws fell to rest on her hip, she wondered what on earth she was doing so wrong to warrant that many sighs from her beloved.
Well, she wasn't expecting what she heard, at least.
"What! I just got here..." This was just absurd! She'd spent all that time getting here in the first place and now, not even having a bath to feel better she was to go right back to the tent to feel miserable!? "Jerome you're being unreason-" She was about to continue when she followed the direction his helmet was looking to and noticed the the rather large looking creature along the treeline. Feeling her fur bristle, the only thing that ran through her mind was That....is a big looking bug..... "Ah....on second thought..." She breathed, glancing to her mate as she slowly stepped back from the pond and to the comfort of the trees.
Koyuki knew when that serious tone came out that things were testy and best not to get involved in places he knew better for her. If the tent was where he needed her, then the tent would be where she stayed.

All the glares he could have shot her at that moment. He was only lucky the big thing saw him as a threat more than Koyuki, and it was obvious that was the case. Just as Koyuki was arguing, Jerome was flying tackled by the almost equally sized thing and the two rolled through the foliage for a moment before getting into a wrestling match.
Whatever this thing was, it matched him in strength. Something that only just scared the crap out of him. He was just thankful he had armor and the fierce kicks that were being thrown at his head were being deflected by the thick helmet.
"Yes..I think leaving now would be a very good Idea Koyuki" he shouted as he grabbed one of the feet and slung the whole creature away from him. At least he was getting a fight, but it was not ideal conditions.

Without so much of a second thought as the creature had decided to attack and sent Jerome rolling into he foliage for a wrestling match; she turned and ran. Quickly recalling those markers she'd sought to remember along the way she headed back to the campsite, it might have taken her a bit longer since she didn't exactly come in a straight line but at least it would take her back period.
Groaning softly, her body decided to let its anger show that she was not resting and forcing more physical exertion when she shouldn't have. The sickness in her gut had become a full blow light headed shroud which caused her vision to distort with little white spots. "Come on...!" She breathed, her heart pounding at a pace she didn't quite feel comfortable with as a stabbing pain shot through her abdomen. Gasping out the vixen had made it a few feet from the tent before she collapsed on the grass. Panting and curling into a tight position she held on tight to her stomach and let out a low; raspy whine.
The shortness to her breath was a spark to her mind that something else was wrong. Opening her eyes to see the blurry world around her, she focused for a few moments before finding the exact source of the sharp pain. It was in a place where she'd had similar pains before.....and that place usually was fine unless....
"Oh...s**t." Koyuki closed her eyes with a grimace lacing her face.

Seeing Koyuki finally get away, he let out a yell as he flying tackled the creature, but it was smart, and used it's powerful hind legs to catch him and throw him further down the hill. Almost landing on the beach, Jerome stood and shook his head, completely bewildered for a moment. He looked up and saw only a flash of black, before he was tackled again "Holy Crap..this thing is fast" he groaned to himself as he had a hold of the thing's head. He couldn't help but notice how similar it looked to a fox.
Walking down the beach, a long blonde headed vixen, wearing a futuristic green sweater and pants, stared out into the ocean with bored eyes. Her ears flickered as she heard words and a few groans and her gaze snapped over with her ponytail whipping the air behind her. She saw the vixen and tried to hide a smirk before moving over to her. "Are you alright?"

Slowly curling an arm around to prop herself up, she fought with the urge to stay curled and comfortable. She knew she needed to be out of sight in the tent and right now she was looking pretty vulnerable out in the open. Breathing heavily she slowly but surely managed to push herself to sit on her legs, head hanging as the pain had yet to lighten in the slightest.
Jerome... She thought, hoping he would be okay and would be able to get back soon. Snapping her head up a moment later as a voice filtered into her ears, she spotted the approaching blond vixen. Where had she come from? Folding her ears back as she tried her damnest to keep the pain off her face, Koyuki nodded her head slowly.
"Kind of..." Voice quiet as her chest still rose heavily from the running and her racing heart, she wished she could see more of her; but her blurred vision only showed the fuzzy image of her colours. "Well, I will be okay in a bit." Hopefully things would calm once she'd time to rest, hesitant to tell this stranger what was really wrong.

The creature suddenly stopped his attack as Jerome had backed onto the beach head. He raised an eyebrow and tried to figure out why it wouldn't venture past the shade of the tree line. Then it occurred to him This must have been what he was sent to find. This must have been the fox that was blown in by a hurricane, and thusly the same fox that only came out in night. Jerome heaved a sigh of relief knowing that he didn't have to fight, but he only wondered howl long this stalemate was going to last.
Noticing the other fox having some difficulties, she raised any eyebrow. "You don't seem alright" She spoke as she tilted her head just so slightly. "And what are you doing here anyway? No one is supposed to be on this beach until the weekend" she said as she pointed to the rest of the area. Normally the ocean and sand dunes were heavily populated with foxes, but being the weekdays, many foxes were at home

Heh....of course not, kids never have sat well with me. Literally, she thought with a mental chuckle. At least this time she thought with a bit of encouragement she'd done it all and lived; so everything wasn't so frightening and new; although the timing had been pretty damned inopportune. Looking around as she knew she couldn't see at all past the vixen let alone her details, Koyuki nodded and pushed her hair back over her shoulder.
"I'll be okay, thank you for your concern though, miss." She attempted a smile, before motioning a paw to the tent. "My mate and I are on vacation down here, and although it might be more fun on the weekends with the hustle and bustle we wanted some quiet time alone." Koyuki beamed, still feeling sick to her stomach but didn't really desire to hurl right infront of this vixen either. "You know, quite the working fellow he is." She stated, although she wasn't one for lying, Koyuki also wasn't sure if these missions were classified or not; so at least she had some kind of excuse.

Deciding to not take his chances with leaving and leading the thing back to camp, he stayed put and looked himself over to see if he had any wounds. "Nope..I'm good" he said outl oud, looking to the creature as it seemingly got spooked by something, and ran off. "What?" he blurted. He quickly turned expecting something mean and nasty to be looming, but nothing...just..ocean
The woman blinked a few times and remained stoic as she listened to the vixen. "Odd time for a vacation, but..I guess that's none of my business" she said as she put her weight on one leg and crossed her arms. She looked from the tent to the vixen with curious blue eyes and just shook her head. "Seems that's a running trend"

"Any time is a good time for a vacation, really; its not like we came her for any sort of event." Keeping polite, Koyuki finally felt able to stand on her feet when her breath finally caught up to her. Wobbling at first she found her barings and made her way over to her bag in the tent, pulling out her bottle of water and taking a long drink and used a bit to wipe down her face. Thankfully she felt the cold water shock her sense to relax, finally regaining her sight little by little each moment.
However, she couldn't help but turn to give the vixen a curious look....what was she doing here then..? "I mean not to be rude...but what are you doing here as you said yourself...it doesn't really get active till the weekend?" Folding her ears back, she shot a look around to see if there was any signs of Jerome; but to her dismay it was all quiet aside from her and this femme.

Seeing nothing behind him, he looked around trying to figure why the thing would run. Then he had to ask himself, why was he not running? He didn't know why, but he started to take off down the beach at a slow pace, looking around for anything that would seem out of place. "I guess I'll check on Koyuki before finishing the Recon." he mumbled to himself
The woman nodded, though she herself didn't know what it felt like to have a vacation. Soon she moved over to the ledge and sat down, making sure to keep an eye on the odd vixen, who soon prodded her with a question. "Me? I'm waiting for the weekend to come by. Its a long walk from my side of the island, so I thought I'd get a head start." she said stoic. She didn't seem to crack a smile at all or even hint in her voice that she would
