Demeter could also sense the other immortal in the room. Turning her head, she spotted Hera. Seeing her sister's foul mood, Demeter slightly scolded her, "Now Hera, is that anyway to speak to family?"But even as a goddess, I am not.

(Okay ladies...Might I make a suggestion about posting? Not tryin' to be annoying or anything...but when there's this many people can we try to avoid double posting until everybody's had a chance to respond once? And if we do double post, maybe put something in the post to direct it to a certain character? It's kinda hard to make a post and then find out its pointless and needs rewriting... That hasn't happened yet, but it could if we're not careful.) 
"I...I wouldn't mention my name to Zeus, if I were you. Not if you want your request granted." Ate dried her mouth with a napkin. Greatful she had been able to keep all the liquid behind her lips. She was about to tell Demeter about an old hotel that could serve as the perfect place for her when Hera walked in and flounced herself into a chair with a pout.
"You picked a bad place to come, Lady Hera, if you didn't want company or to be spoken to. That's what Coffee Shops are for." Ate said with a mocking laugh. "Goddesses are in no need for permission for simple visits or trips...the gods prove that daily." Her red eyes sparkled and she turned them away to sip her coffee again.

And to let you know, I have permission to visit the mortal world for a short period of time. All of us do, am I not right Ate and Amphitrite?" Turning back to her tea, she decided to ignore her sister.But even as a goddess, I am not. (Sorry about that. I'll hold my tongue for a bit... whee sweatdrop )

“Demeter is right, we‘re allowed to visit the mortal world. I‘m not sure about you two, but Ate and I could stay as long as we like, we both don‘t return to Olympus. The water welcomes me back when I feel like it,” Amphitrite said in reply. Even if she didn't return, it'd take sometime before anyone would notice.
“And if you remove her immortality, a war may start and if one does, I’m fighting for Demeter. My husband would happily support what I wish after the little incident earlier,” She said swiftly to Hera.

(No worries, I was just asking 'cause I was having a hard time keeping up. I totally get how easy it is to get lost and stuff in who posted when and where. I wasn't tryin' to sound grumpy or anything.) Ate grinned, loving the way the chaos and tension swirled around her from their various moods. She decided to throw in her own little jibe.
"And, lady Hera...You can't take away the immortality of an original goddess without the approval of my father Zeus." She put emphasis on the title of father in order to remind Hera just who she was...one of Zeus' many children apart from her. Cruel, maybe, but that's who Ate was.
"Might I ask just how my father is? By the way? I haven't seen him in so long...Where is he these days? Is he up to anyone-I mean anything new?"(I'll start posting with the coding soon...I've never used it before and its making my brain hurt getting it set up, lol...)

But I do thank you for siding with me. I am sure that Zeus would return my immortality to me with a snap of his fingers if I ask nicely." Demeter said the last sentence with a bit of poison in it.
"Hmm it seems to me that I will have to cancel family dinner tonight. It seems pointless to do it when one is not in the mood. Perhaps I shall join you tonight here in the mortal world, Ate." Demeter smiled at Ate.But even as a goddess, I am not. (Would you like me to make you one? I have mine saved all the time in the notepad so that it's ready for me to copy and paste.)

"I may join you too, my servants are already working hard. Their cooking may not taste well and I should give them a break," Amphitrite sipped her coffee. She had a slight smile on her face as she watched Hera leave. "We're done with her for now at least."

╚════════════════╝ Some Fall from Heaven Ate laughed quietly, her brows furrowing as she set her coffee back on the table while Hera spoke. "I know enough, my lady...I know enough." She didn't bother to go on, knowing those simple words would plant seeds of doubt if left unexplained. As Hera stormed off, Ate rolled her pretty red eyes and turned back to her companions.
"I would be more than honored to have either of you any time you so desire. My home is yours any time for as long as you like." She smirked, "But, like I said before, it would probably be best not to mention me to Zeus..."
Smiling to Demeter as the goddess prepared to leave, Ate bowed her head. "I look forward to it, my lady. I'll prepare a meal for you."
Ate turned back to Amphitrite. "Well, I suppose one aspect of my power is that one is never bored in my presence." She joked with a laugh. Some are Thrown

Ate, I shall see you later tonight, but will I see you as well Amphitrite?" Placing a hair behind her ear, took one last sip and got up. Looking at her watch, she hoped that Zeus was back in Olympus. He had not been around lately and it was getting her more anxious that she would not spend time in the mortal world.But even as a goddess, I am not. (GTG. Birthday party tonight.)
