"I don't know if they did... They don't talk about it, but mom is even more paranoid because of it. Monroe too, I think." A thoughtful frown.
Though honestly she figured they didn't talk about it because they didn't have anything to say about it. She did know there were a lot of tears when they both woke up. "It was weird seeing papa cry," she murmured aloud, not realizing she'd done so.
"Oh! One of the times I visited you, another girl came to see you. I don't know if she mentioned it to you or not though.."

Azzo paused, tilting his head, "Yeah... my parents were kinda around. Iunno, I think dad's thinking about moving back since we won't move there." His face held a visible twitch.
He paused, "People do that when they're worried." He muttered, "Well... most. Grams and Gramps, when he was alive, were both pretty good about being worried."
He paused, shaking his head giving a blank stare. "Someone else came to visit?" Obviously he hadn't run into whoever Melody was talking about.

"Is that entirely a bad thing? I mean, I know you and your dad don't get along but..." A slight fidget as she realized that maybe, on that subject, she should have kept silent.
"I'd never seen papa cry before, he's usually so strong..." It had hurt so much to see him so miserable. She didn't want to ever see him cry again. Well... Except maybe at her wedding.
"Yea. I think it wasn't to long after I'd found out you'd fallen under as well." A thoughtful look, trying to remember. "I can't remember if she told me her name or not. But she goes to Meadowview. She had red hair, short?"

Azzo paused, and shrugged. "I guess not..." He muttered, meaning that yeah it probably was if his father was going to keep his normal habits.
He paused, "Mm, at least you know they love each other." He pointed out. "Grams always said that was the important thing in a relationship." He was chewing thoughtfully on his breakfast before taking a sip looking a little numb between that and the mentions of his father.
Though he seemed to be thinking about the red head too. "Probably. There's a few red heads that go to Meadowview. She's probably in a class. Though I don't know what they're going to do about the English class I had."
Poor Ray, he was such an awesome teacher too. Azzo shook his head, dragging the conversation away. "It's weird though, the dream I had almost felt real. I ended up saving a senshi from being eaten by a bone tree." He he was biting the inside of his lower lip thinking.
Suddenly a thought seemed to strike him, "Where do you want to go after we finish breakfast?"

But maybe his father wouldn't keep his habits. Maybe he'd change and be a better father to Azzo, like he should be. A mental sigh and she kicked her feet just a bit in thought. 'If "ifs" and "buts" were candies and nuts...'
"I have no doubt momma and papa love each other despite their differences. It's their differences that make them who they are and is what makes them mesh so well." A sip of her smoothie. "Love is important yes, but I think communication is even more important. It helps the love build and grow, because you know what you're doing right and how to fix what you're doing wrong."
"Hm, well... Maybe you know her and just can't think of her at the moment because my description is pretty fail?" That and a lack of name to her memory at the moment surely didn't help. Ah well, c'est la vie.
However she chose not to comment on his comment about his English class, if only because she didn't know much of what he was talking about. It felt odd to have to have him explain it.
"Dreaming of senshi, huh?" Her lips twitched slightly. "Was she cute? Or were you dreaming of male senshi and there's something you need to tell me." Ah but she was teasing and she hoped he knew that by now.

Azzo was finishing off the cinnamon bun before finishing the cheesecake. He'd paused for a sip when she said what she did about communication. "Idunno Mel. Gramps and Grams might've had an art of understanding each other if that's the case. She didn't have to tell him when he was doing something wrong or right."
He paused to take another sip of his drink. "Well there again we're talking about a psychologist that practiced hypnotism." Perhaps Azzo wasn't as big of a tool as he came off, however, with this pup it was hard to tell.
"Mm... Well you have to remember we've only been in classes since like Iunno January or something like that. It's not like I actually had a full semester to register people. What with the broken ribs." He shrugged softly, "I'm sure if I saw her I'd probably know her."
He paused looking at her when her lips twitched tilting his head. "She. Though for a senshi she wasn't the smartest pea in the pod." He paused, "And why would I be dreaming of Male senshi and need to tell you about it?"
It seemed as he had an after thought... "Though, Schee was there.... and some crazy senshi with a black top she'd attacked a tree last time I saw her though...." He paused, who were the others... and the catman? He couldn't remember, but the bone tree was bad enough to be able to recall. "Though I think I should lay off sweets before sleeping... I mean if dreams are going to be that nuts."

"Yes, that may be true. But I can guarantee it wasn't always the case. When relationships last that long you don't always need to say things." Not everything started out so easy, to that she could attest. "I hope to one day be in a relationship where me and mine can speak with such an understanding."
Her tone was wistful, almost longing. She couldn't place when the need for love had come about, but it was there and she wanted it. The question was finding some one who would give it to her.
When her joke flew over his head, however, her eyebrow twitched and she sighed in slight exasperation. "It was a joke, Azzo. I was teasing you." Had it not been as obvious as she had intended for it to be? Hm, maybe jokes just weren't her thing.

Azzo leaned on the table slightly, "True, it's still slightly weird." He chuckled as he sighed looking at the left over drink and food as he ate on it.
He paused when her eyebrow twitched. "Oh...." His cheeks tinged red as he pondered.
"Sooo what do you want to do after we eat?" He asked curiously.

She had wanted to ask how it was weird, because as far as she knew it happened quite frequently. Heck, up until her Gran's death, she and her Gran had had a bond much like that. Communicating with out the need for words. Though she wondered if that was because she and her grandmother had shared the same knowing and understanding of others.
Not having the real words, or perhaps the drive to ask, she took a chance at a subject change when he asked what that should do next. That was a very good question, she still had some time before her daily cello practice. A thoughtful look passed as she took a few drinks of her smoothie.
"I don't know, is there anything you'd like to do?"

Azzo sighed, it was of course unfortunately weird to him 'cause he didn't understand how it worked. Obviously he'd been keeping to himself too much in the past.
Azzo rolled his shoulders and looked out the window. "Iunno, we could always walk around and window shop?" He said as he took another sip of his drink and pushed it to the side.
"Or I think there's a park a few blocks if you just want to go walking around?" He wasn't really sure and well besides knowing she liked music and probably cherries or cherry blossoms by this point judging by what was said at the park a while back and now the food.
He wasn't sure what she liked to do... "I think the 'China Town' part of the city isn't far away either. If you wanted to head that way?" He was just really throwing out ideas.

She couldn't help that her senshi side was beginning to blossom out more, pun not necessarily intended but an added bonus. Maybe others had the same problems? She should ask next time she was around one of the other senshi.
"China Town sounds good, I can't recall the last time I was down that way." Maybe they'd have some snacks she could hide away at Crystal. "Let's head that way."

Azzo nodded, "Alright." He said as he leaned on the table. "Whenever you're ready?" He said wondering if she needed a cup for her smoothie.
He'd kinda wanted to head towards China town anyways, they might have some interesting puppets he could add to his meat-locker of a room. It would at least be nice to be able to see if they had any dragons anyways.
"I've been wanting to go but I wanted someone with me that would probably enjoy it more than Grams would. She's more of a flea market type person."

Finishing her cheesecake, she stood to drop her garbage into the trash before moving to order another smoothie. One for the road, she told herself. She couldn't help her addiction to strawberry smoothies.
Once set, she smiled at him and indicated she was good to go now. China Town was a place she rarely went, as music always tended to call for her first, but perhaps she'd find something that drew her attention? Hopefully nothing Cherry Blossom related, for fear of Azzo noting a trend and possibly becoming curious about it.
She didn't want to risk his health by him finding out she was a Sailor Soldier.

Azzo had already disposed of his trash by the time Mel was ready to leave with another smoothie in hand. He chuckled and nodded walking to hold the door open for her before heading for China Town.
"I wonder if they have any puppets." He said softly thinking about the possibilities that could come with Chinese puppets.

"Oh I wouldn't doubt that. China Town has pretty much anything you could want!" And it was probably more factual then she realized, as there was no doubt that one could possibly find drugs and a hooker over there too. Every place had both just about.
Hm, maybe she could get something to cheer up little Raina? Surely a doll or any little toy might work. Hopefully.
