Kimeti Name: Eyes of the Night Number of Kimeti: 8 Kimeti Gender: Buck Inspirational Image: XXX, YYY, ZZZ Why this moth/butterfly: I've always thought the Luna Moth was the most beautiful and unique looking moth/butterfly. Additional Info: Eyes of the Night feels that life is short and must be lived to the utmost. He's not a flirt or a lady's man, but he does feel that it's his duty to spread his seed around.

Kimeti Name: Forever Falling or Catch Me If You Can (probably the latter) Number of Kimeti: 4 Kimeti Gender: CC! Inspirational Image: 1 2 3 Why this moth/butterfly: I love the colours, and the delicate intricacy of the soft greens/yellows/oranges all flowing together so subtly on the wings. I also love the black and white scattered within, and the markings on the butterfly's body. All of these colours make up one of my most favoured palettes that no one seems to use on pets, which makes me sadfaced. 3 Additional Info: The butterfly is called the Five Bar Swordtail (Pathysa antiphates) butterfly.
I imagine Fall (just using that as a nickname; still undecided between Fall or Catch) being very quick-footed. Fall is a quiet, shy kimeti that runs at the slightest hint of danger. That is not to say that Fall is not loyal - by all means, quite the opposite. A truer kimeti you could not find. S/he is simply skittish, having trouble trusting others' actions and words. Once Fall's trust is earned, which is not a particularly difficult task, s/he would gladly give his/her own life to aid a friend in need. Fall is easy-going, light-hearted, and fun-loving - to a point. S/he is too good-natured to do anything s/he deems inappropriate or dangerous, and will do his/her very best to convince others not to take part as well. S/he serves as a sort of conscience as well as a shoulder-to-cry-on type of friend. S/he has little to no interest in a relationship, having finding him-/herself unable to fully grasp the concept of giving most or all of one's love to a single being. Fall would much, much rather love everyone and everything equally, from the smallest aphid to the tallest tree.

Kimeti Name: Bluegrass Crush Number of Kimeti: 7 Kimeti Gender: Colorist's Choice Inspirational Image: Morpho Cypris: {x} {x} {x}Why this moth/butterfly: Ever since I did a project on butterflies, I've love love loved Morphos. They are gorgeous iridescent things, and I wish I could see them for real. D: I'm never in the right area. Additional Info: Morpho Cypris Naming Dream (Haiku?) Leap high, come down hard Crush the green grass into blue Steal it with a hoof PersonalityBluegrass Crush, or Crush, likes color. Be it moss, leaves, feathers, or mud, he likes color. He likes it on him, he likes it on other kimeti, and he likes to smear the stuff everywhere in brilliant contrasting streaks. Sometimes he'll even take a leaf full of color he gets from crushing bugs, grass, moss, or anything else he can get his hooves in, and uses it to splatter color across other kimeti. Most of them don't appreciate this as much as he feels they should, but that's okay! Crush will keep doing it anyway-- someday, they'll understand.

Kimeti Name: Spot of Hope Number of Kimeti: 3 Kimeti Gender: Buck Inspirational Image: [x] [x] [x]Why this moth/butterfly: It actually quite reminds me of a galaxy on the back of a butterfly's wings. Sorta like that cause/effect proverb about a butterfly beating its wings in China sparking a typhoon in the Bahamas. c: Additional Info: He was named Spot of Hope because the pale spots in the bleak darkness of his hide, also because in the dream it was seen that somehow he would be something special to someone who truly needed it. He would be their 'spot of hope'. He is unsure who this is, or when it will happen, but he lives his life towards this ideal!

Kimeti Name: Truth. Number of Kimeti: ...Sixteen. *hangs head in shame* Kimeti Gender: Colorist's choice; I use 'she' in the additional info section for convenience. Inspirational Image: 1 Why this moth/butterfly: I love that saturated green, and the little band of rosy grey; the swirling patterns and grades of white confuse the moth's outline, and the texture makes me think of velvet. The eye spots near its head make me think of a kimeti who's always watching and doesn't like being surprised. Additional Info: It's an Oleander Hawk Moth. I see this kimeti as being obsessed with the truth as it is, without anything to soften, sweeten, or gentle it. If her opinion is asked, she won't hesitate to tell a kimeti that she doesn't like their patterns, or their colors, or their personality, but she also won't hesitate to tell them that she thinks they're beautiful and kind. You can always be sure where you stand with her, for better or for worse.
Naming Dream Tell all the truth -- the whole truth -- and nothing but the truth.

Kimeti Name: Painted Blind Number of Kimeti: 2! Kimeti Gender: Colorist's Choice Inspirational Image: One , two, three(opened wings) Why this moth/butterfly: The first picture is one I took myself, right by my front door. I came home from the usual stressful day of work to find the interesting fellow hanging on the front of my house. I promptly snapped a pic, and became rather fascinated by him. I researched the type and found other pics like him. I thought maybe it was kind of lucky or perhaps a good "sign" that it so patiently perched by my door no matter how much I came and went or the screen door slammed. That moth stayed on my house for three days before I came home to find him gone. I was sad to see he had left, as I had grown to think of him as a silent little friend. I like this moth because I enjoyed meeting one in person, and because I think they are neat looking, even if they aren't the typical colorful or exotic type. Additional Info: It is called a Blinded Sphinx Moth, due to the fact when it opens its wings, the little circles on the bottom wings are just dark, not a color then a dark spot like others in its class, so it has no " pupil" to its markings. This makes it blind :] I think a meti even loosely based off the colors or markings would be beautiful. The Kimeti based off this moth would be infinitely patient and kind, quiet and not flashy. It would be the steadfast, trustworthy friend you could always count on to listen and comfort without making a show of it. As for the name: "Love looks not with the eyes, but with the mind. And therefore is wing'd Cupid painted blind." -- Shakespeare

Kimeti Name: Bringing Change Number of Kimeti: 12 Kimeti Gender: CC, baby. Inspirational Image: [ 1.] [ 2.] [ 3.] Why this moth/butterfly: Like Rejam, I just really want to see what you do with a clear winged butterfly. This one- The Glasswing Butterfly(Greta Oto) is a "brush-footed butterfly where its wings are transparent." They also range from Central America to Mexico. Along with the Monarch, this is my favourite butterfly. LOOK HOW DAINTY THESE THINGS ARE! Additional Info: I have to add this because I filled out the form, then read Rejam's and had a very good giggle out loud- I see Bringing Change as very much the "hippy" type. Completely fluid and the most amazingly easy going kimeti the world will ever know, s/he won't be one to really question or worry about the "how"(it's all about the journey, man) or let anything rile them up ... Except excessive violence, and even then, the most you're likely to get is a caring lecture or a song/story about the harm to the Swamp such anger brings.

Kimeti Name: Dances to Destruction Number of Kimeti: 3 (one sac, 2 adult) Kimeti Gender: Preferably a buck, but CC. Inspirational Image: X Why this moth/butterfly: I chose the Gypsy Butterfly because they are so extremely beautiful, one could never imagine they would cause any sort of harm...but underneath their exquisite outside, they are hellish and horrible creatures that cause copious amounts of destruction to the greenery that they float so delicately over. Decietful elegance drew me in as surely as a, shall we say, moth to a flame?
Additional Info: As I've already noted, the creature chosen is a Gypsy Butterfly. I see Dances to Destruction being a very wicked sort, but not openly. S/he (depending on which gender is opted for) would be outwardly elegant, gorgeous and kind...but under the outer layer of the onion that is Dances, there is decay and destruction. A want and also a bit of a need: to be beautiful and to destroy without people quite realizing at first that s/he is to blame.
Naming Dream: S/he dreams. Light pierces through clouds to illuminate the lush greenery. S/he leaps and spins, twists and bows to flowers and trees. As s/he moved across the meadow, the greenery wilts, browning and dying behind feet so light and elegant; the clouds began raining ash down, filtering the light stabbing through. His head tilts and s/he whirls as a dervish; destroying all behind and killing all before.
S/he realizes what has happened, slowing for only a moment before regaining speed, even going faster. S/he was dancing to destruction.

Kimeti Name: Always Watching ("Stare") Number of Kimeti: Ten Kimeti Gender: My pref is for male, males are sexy and his personality is just so much more awesome as a guy. Inspirational Image: @_____@ .... ~εїз Why this moth/butterfly: Giant Leopard Moth. I chose this guy because that first picture was awesome they are so interesting >w>;; . They get really big and they produce this neat yellow goopy stuff when agitated... which is... neat... Additional Info: All Always Watching does (everyday) is find some little hole to climb into or ledge to creep from and stare at things. He could go for days without moving at all if it weren't for that whole need to eat thing. When he interacts with anyone he is always standing a little too close, being a little too bold, and not blinking nearly often enough. He takes everything at face value, excepts it, and moves on. He understands the 'hows' of things very well but not so much the 'whys' (it probably wouldn't occur to him that there might be a why in the first place).
Naming dream would be an image. Which I am having much fun failing at painting XD .
I'll come back and fix my grammar and such in the morning.
Also.. Cricket's moth is the sickest thing ever.

Kimeti Name: Someone Else's Eyes ("See") Number of Kimeti: 2 Kimeti Gender: Doe please :3 Inspirational Image: One Two Why this moth/butterfly: It's transparent! It's like its wings are made of glasses and were painted on! Also, I never heard of that little critter until that photographer posted pics, and he's very talented in making me interested in new insect species. Additional Info: It's a Glasswing Butterfly, or Greta Oto. They appear to have only 4 legs, probably in order to decrease their body mass. Personality: she is, honestly, not very intelligent at all, and borderline mute. She makes up for it with her patience, serenity and determination, not to reach her own goals (for they are obscure and might not even exist), but someone else's. Someone Else's Eyes has that very odd trend to instead help other kimeti, more often than not those who are manipulative or have bad intentions. Why does she do so? She hardly talks when it's not required by her task, therefore few know that's because she feels absolutely empty inside and needs to be dominated by another will. Her favourite job is scouting and describing what she observed; not because she likes it, but because her name points it out. Oh, Someone Else's Eyes also seem to think names are much more important than they actually are.

Kimeti Name: Sight Unseen Number of Kimeti: 3 Kimeti Gender: CC Inspirational Image: Bad. a**. Why this moth/butterfly: Because it's badass. Also, moths are way cooler than butterflies. They're camouflaged and stuff. Additional Info: Okay, I really wanted the name to be "Turn Around Bright Eyes", but just because it has eyes on it's wings doesn't justify naming the poor kimeti after a lyric from a cheesy 80's song.

Kimeti Name: Turnabout Number of Kimeti: 6 Kimeti Gender: Colorist's Choice Inspirational Image: 1, 2, 3 Why this moth/butterfly: I'm a sucker for surprises and nothing quite surprises me when what I thought was a dead leaf suddenly flutters away! The Dead Leaf Butterfly is colored like its name sake when its wings are folded but in reality it hides a beautiful pattern. It's not so much as the moral lesson of not judging a book by its cover that I love about the butterfly but the 180 degree turn its appearance makes. There's also the duality to its coloration, like saying death can only mask or hide but never truly destroy beauty. Additional Info: Turnabout is a kimeti of extremes, switching between distant and cold, and burning with passion. Turnabout would maintain one or the other, and is unlikely to ever reach a happy medium.

Kimeti Name: Darkness Owned / My Own Dark (will probably depend on gender) Number of Kimeti: 1 official, but 1 baby on the way eek Kimeti Gender: Buck preferably, but I'll leave it up to CC for the challenge. Inspirational Image: [x] [x] [x] Why this moth/butterfly: I love the color and subtle pattern of the Luna moth. I like how their wings are almost shaped like a butterfly's, I guess, but without all the bold patterns. I think a color palette like theirs would make a lovely kimeti, plain and simple. It would be interesting to somehow interpret their neat wing "tails" into a kimeti design (two tails? hahaha). That they hatch in March is only another coincidence I enjoy (my birthday, baby E's birthday). biggrin Additional Info: Adult Luna moths don't have a mouth and don't eat. They hatch only to mate and make more of themselves. I like the idea of a singularly-focused, almost blind to everything else sort of kimeti. One focused more on self-gratification (whatever that may be for the day) and perhaps even trickery (oh, the moon), often to their own (most likely humorous) misfortune or unfortunate circumstance … all executed with enough grace or smoothness that somehow keeps them from the consequence they usually deserve. Kind of a coyote in kimeti clothing.

Kimeti Name: Frostbitten Ears Number of Kimeti: None : ( Kimeti Gender: Colorist's Choice Inspirational Image: [ X] Why this moth/butterfly: The title of this picture was "A Butterfly," although I 'm having a hard time figuring out if it's really a moth because the body is so fluffy! Regardless, I've never had a thing for bugs, but this little guy I can't stop staring at. I like the soft white/tan color in combination with the two colors orange at one tip, and an ice blue on the body. I think it's really interesting nature would use opposite colors like that. Additional Info: Frost will be a Kimeti who is very beautiful in appearance, though very nasty in intentions. The name "frostbitten ears" refers to the rumors spread through word of mouth. Those who listen get "frostbitten" in a sense, and they are effected, but may not notice until they themselves have done damage. In some cases, this means severing long-had friendships. Although sometimes Frost does not intend to do these things, and it seems as if it is almost a curse.

Kimeti Name: Silvered Dust Number of Kimeti: 0 Kimeti Gender: CC Inspirational Image: Link 1, Link 2, Link 3 Why this moth/butterfly: I've always really loved blue and blue tinged butterflies. The Miami Blue fits that and has the added benefit of having that lovely, delicate silvery sheen that makes it look like a butterfly that belongs in a dream world. Additional Info: Silvered Dust refers to the silvery sheen of the butterfly and how it looks a little dreamlike.
