"I see it!" He laughs softly, charmed at this new past time he'd never taken part in before, and turns with a grin back to Cloud. He can't help but to think about how very shy she seems... So he simply smiles again in an effort to see her face light up once more.
"It's alright. Well... let's see.. I like meeting new kimeti, but I tend to move around a lot. I.. never actually met my parents, and ever since I can remember I've always simple moved from place to place. There's a lot to see in the swamp... I'm always surprised at the things I seem to find, and the kimeti I meet." He pauses to look at her again s if to make a point.
"It's nice.. to not be tied down to one place. Some kimeti like making dens and will live there for months or years but I've never been able to do it. I want to see everything!" He laughs, pleasantly, amused at himself perhaps. "Of course that's probably impossible but.. still, I'm never really bored. There's always something new. Like today.. I never met you before, and I probably never would have learned that clouds can look like things, but here I am."

Cloud lets her gaze linger on Vertigo's face, nodding slowly as he speaks. And when he pauses to look at her, a very faint blush dusts her white pelt with a hint of pink, a shy smile overcoming her.
When he laughs, she tilts her head towards him, as if attempt to hear better, finding the noise rather pleasant, really.
"It's a nice dream to have, though, isn't it?" she asks softly, gaze fixed on his face. "To see everything. It would be so nice..." She trails off and finally tears her eyes away, staring shyly off to the side. "I've never settled down. I sleep wherever I find shelter, because I have spent much of my time searching out family. I heard some others talking about family, but... My own wasn't quite up to my expectations, you see. Oh, but I often find myself returning to this spot. Just to stare at the sky."
A soft, almost-happy sigh escaped her as she turned her gaze back to the sky.
"But sometimes there are no clouds to watch."

He smiles gently at her when he notices how Cloud is watching him, and leans down to bump his nose a little playfully against her cheek. Her fur is soft and warm, and smells faintly of the sweet grass she has been lying in.
"You know.... you could travel with me awhile, if you like. At the very least, we'll both have some company, and we might run into some of your family along the way." He doesn't really expect her to say yes, of course, seeing as they've just met. But, well.... the idea is a nice one.
His gaze drifting up to the sky to watch the clouds pass by, Vertigo tilts his head a little. "And sometimes, I suppose.... when there are no clouds to watch, you just have to turn your attention to other things."
