There wasn't much beyond the ordinary at the time. Hustle and bustle of the crowd outside, finding their homes and making "acquaintances". Demetri couldn't deny their need to group together. If anything it was always a terrible thing to be on your own amongst a facility of this size. And if nothing else, it helps to relieve the boredom that solitude is normally accompanied by. Though for the moment, he found it more important to organize his things and find suitable attire for the day.
He tossed garments here and there and setting aside a few select pieces for later examination. Slowly he removed his upper garments, forgetting the fact the door was open to the world. As his hand began to graze the fabric of a black tank top, he heard a couple of hushed giggles resonate from the direction of the door. Turning his head lightly, he caught a few girls spying in on him whom he wasn't quite sure were intrigued or poking fun. Demetri tossed a smirk to them and continued to clothe himself. Glancing from the corner of his eye, he found one of them still peering in as they continue their patrol of the hallway and quickly went to return with the rest of her flock. Demetri shook his head, mildly amused at the situation. To finish his own attire, he threw on a black t-shirt on top and slipped an decorative necklace around his neck. The trinket upon the end of the chain was a fiery looking orb, seemingly bearing the eye of a dragon within. He knew not of its origin but merely it was a gift from his mother while he was still a lad. Not a day had gone by where he didn't wear it around his neck.
While finishing his project, he felt a penetrating stare upon him. Figuring one of those girls had come back or something, he chanced a small glance towards his door to not find what he anticipated. Alas all he discovered was the final images of a female frame slipping by his door. He was puzzled for a moment and was about to push it aside when his ears perked at an interesting display of noise emitting from the hall. Beyond the thunderous boom, the chorused giggles and breathless gasps from the crowd, it took him a moment to understand what happened. He only came to this realization after seeing a dragon nearly plow him down and a small group of individuals huddling near woman. One of the crowd managed to take charge and see if the girl was all right, and left after receiving a positive response.
Demetri leaned against his door frame for a moment, watching as the girl continued on her way down the hall. He tussled a hand into his hair and cooed a small chuckle. "Well...I suppose this place will be entertaining at least. It's only day one and I've had more than my fair share of daily excitement." He glanced back into his room at the window and tipped his head in thought. "Guess it wouldn't hurt to take a look around. I'm sure Tarick would want to come, but I'm gonna let him sleep. I think he's still a bit cranky from the trip...Hell, I wouldn't mind sleeping myself." Calmly he shut his door and took his leave of the area, dodging and sliding his way down the hall.He didn't have a set destination, but he figured he take a look around the dorm and the training area. If they decided to start class the next day, probably be best to know where things are. Week: 1 Post: 2

C A S S A N D R A ๑۞๑ L E E ๑۞๑ C R E N S H A W Out Of Coffee:: Figured I'd go ahead and post since I'm logging for the day. Woo-Hoo, heading off to bed. Hopefully, I'll be able to post later on. <3 Night guys.... Err, morning guys.... xD I can't tell you what it {really is}, I can only tell you what it feels like And right now there's a steel k n i f e in my windpipe I can't breath but I still fight while I can fight As long as the wrong feels right its like I'm in flight
Ladon could have been out in the wild, free as a bird within his own territory if he had not laid eyes upon her. The pale Dragon began to brood over his situation in hot silence. Slowly, he stood and made his way to the stall door. The cold look in his eyes would have made any passerby question his intentions at this point as he raised a large clawed appendage upon the bottom of the door, his claws gently scrapping and jumping across the metal. People and pact beasts alike glanced at the beast as they past, though many paid him no attention for his actions, it was the fact of his appearance. It was not normal to see a dragon of his color. A few groups of people had stopped along his stall to marvel at the pure white of his scales and the beautiful crystal blue eyes he sported. ”If you could only understand me… Perhaps, I would give you a few choice human words. Bug off will you? Geez… You act like you’ve never seen a dragon before.” His look never changed from that of a negative one as his stood there, looking across the way at an empty stall.
It did not take Cassandra long to get lost, but thankfully, the school staff did something right by putting up those blasted maps on the walls. She stood in silence, looking over hallways and rooms before finding a staircase to head down that lead outside. By this time, the sun had already peeked over the horizon and was kissing the earth’s cool soil. Cassandra paused a moment once she made her way through to the outside, she was unsure of what to do for a moment, the mass of moving bodies, human and reptile alike was an interesting site to see. Well, except for a large bland spot, devoid of movement aside from a female tending to her large pact beast. Blue-gray hues studied for a moment before looking away and heading towards the stables to pull her grumpy pact mate from his cell and out for a bit of fun. ”Having fun yet?” She smirked for a moment as she shoved her middle fingers into each of her front pockets and continued to walk with her hands perched there upon the front of her shorts. The reply was not so cheerful, ”Cassandra, get me…. The hell out of here.” That, was the end of the conversation, ”Yeah, yeah, yeah… I’m comin’, I’m comin’.”
Moments later she was trailing through the barns in route to Ladon’s stall. The dragon had not moved from his spot in front of the door, nor did his discontent look fade from his appearance. Cassandra stood there for a moment, a brow arched in amusement. ”Aw, you look so cute behind bars.” A soft chuckle rose from her as the dragon glared coldly in her direction before she opened the door and he made his way through the opening. ”Come on, let’s go on an adventure.” Cassandra smile and made her way from the building with her Pact mate. Ladon followed willingly; glad to be out of the tiny cursed box he had to call home. ”Uh-huh, so what do you expect us to do?” He questioned some, glancing at a small group of dragons that walked passed them. ”I dunno’. Make friends? Explore? Make some trouble.” Her smile was bright as she glanced up to her dragon before reaching up for his neck. Out of something we could call habit; Ladon lowered his neck while raising his right leg for her and pulled her up onto his back. Resting her legs before his wings, she flipped and flopped her flip-flips as he walked along, exploring the grounds. Ladon was not the most comfortable to sit on, which reminded her that she had to get a harness for him if she was every going to fly with him while she was here. ”Let’s see if we can get a sneak peek at the training area.” Cassandra smiled at her thoughts, while Ladon glanced back at her form and shook his head and let out a long breath. ”You will be the death of me.” This might have been true, but his pact mate wanted to sneak around and get a look at things, so that was what she was going to get. Slowly, they made their way behind the stable area, avoiding anyone that looked important if possible.

xxxxx▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬terra carter▬▬▬▬▬Week: 1 Post: 2 Terra took extra care of her work, making sure she had not missed a spot while tending to her pact beast. Diligence, although a trait she would much rather not possess at times, was a key trait that was similar to a second nature by now. During this time, she blatantly ignored the looks of the other students who passed by, whispering amongst themselves as they watched the somewhat peculiar scene of a clearly intimidating beast in the middle of getting pampered. One sharp glare from Selda was enough to spook off most of these people and their smaller dragons. Upon seeing such a reaction, she growled in an amused manner than a ferocious one. "I do miss the running and the screams." The wistful sigh of contentment had not gone unnoticed, once more slipping a chuckle from the human's lips at the slight jest. "Liar. Since when have you gotten all senile? People still avoid you all the time, unless they happen to like hanging around an over-sized killer lizard." Terra commented, earning another entertained look from her companion. Noticing that some students were still watching, she snapped at them and they scattered away.
"Believe it or not, but I was a considerable menace before we met. The pact has reduced me to the same level as a pet. Have you any idea how degrading that is?" The dragon went back to crowd watching, shifting her gaze from one pair to the next as she indulged in her own nostalgic past. Nothing of particular interest seemed to be worth Selda's time on those grounds. Of course, there were always a few interesting pact beasts that came to explore the grounds with their partners. One of particular interest at that moment, came from a female human riding on the back of an unusual white dragon. Not a very common sight indeed, but one which she supposed was noteworthy. After all, those who stood out were either potential friends, or perhaps potential enemies. The latter was doubtful, unless the pair were inexplicably arrogant to the point where they did not take plain facts into account. Nonetheless, the act of even letting a human ride on their back was just the proof of her points. Fearsome beasts reduced to protecting such fragile creatures; such a shameful fate indeed.
Selda shook her head in a dispirited manner, the scales along her neck moving from a black to a deep blue colour as the sunlight steadily shone on them. The movement was noticed by Terra, who decided to speak up after switching her attention from one limb to the other. At least maintenance was not as much of a problem when done on a regular basis. "I wouldn't say I treat you much like a pet really. We're more like...accomplices. Simply using each other to meet our own ends." The woman replied with all honesty, finding the rest of her work to be satisfactory for the time being. As Selda stood up, Terra started walking in no specific direction, still in no mood for dealing with crowds. Sure, it would be a bit fun to have her companion bully them around a bit, but there was a limit, no matter how small, to how nasty she could be without getting in deep trouble for it. Hearing her familiar falling into pace beside her, she finished off her train of thought from earlier before she forgot it. "After all, I keep you in top form and you make my daily life a little less monotonous." With that all said and done, the two of them began their own tour of the grounds. There was no crowd to compete with in their path, and there was no real surprise as to why. After all, the pair seemed to make it a silent game of their own to put a bit of fear-induced respect into those who would possibly oppose as pests later on in the school year. Of course, that essentially included anyone who happened to be in the vicinity at that time.

There wasn't much to explore around the dormitories. Mostly just endless halls of rooms packed with people finding their way round and making friends. Things didn't start getting interesting till he got to the entrance where two boys were busy playing "who had the bigger c**k", claiming one dragon was better than the other. If it started to get heated up and escalate, Demetri wasn't certain due to him leaving from the scene to head out back. All he could tell was the sound of cheering and yelling as he left. Guess it was inevitable. Put people into any situation, they either make friends or enemies. But it was good to have rivalries amidst the dorm, kept things interesting he supposed.
Alas the hustle and bustle of the dorms were behind him and the vast open ground of the training area lay before him. He was not alone in his attempt to explore. A few here and there trudged the field either in groups or with their pact mates. Whilst others chose to seek solitude or to explore alone. Alas for the time being, Demetri chose solitude in his adventure, finding the company of others might distract him from taking it all in.
Despite the sounds of the occasional voice from afar, all that accompanied him was the sound of wind and life of the awakening critters that came out to welcome the day. It was, peaceful, or was until a scorned voice crept into his head. "Kill them..." Demetri cocked a brow for a moment and tried to suppress a growing cackle of laughter. It won through and he burst out echoing his laughter into the vast plains. "You scare me sometimes Tarick. I'm guessing your bored huh?" "Nah I like sitting in this dinky pin twiddling my claws all day. Of course I'm bored. I know your out doing something." Demetri put a hand to side of his head sighing lightly as he did. "I figured you could use the rest. Given you sounded a little cranky." The response came back almost as a hiss, mildly sending a chill down Demetri's spine. "Who's cranky?!" Demetri chuckled a bit and continued walking. "Point proven. Just take a nap big boy and we can hang out later."
There wasn't a response of words but mostly mumbles of resentment. With that aside Demetri continued on his walk quietly laughing to himself about the situation. "Boy oh boy...That guy seems to get crankier by the day. Would think this pact would've lulled him out a bit by now." "I heard that..." Demetri's eyes widened a bit and he gave a sheepish smile, blatantly embarrassed. He went about his way, whistling and trying to not rouse any more ill feelings in his big "friend". Mostly he hoped he wouldn't get his face singed off the next time they met. Week: 1 Post: 3

Ladon yawned a bit, a white mist spraying from his open teeth. Though it was not like he did not sleep when he was supposed to, it was just he did not like even the subtle heat of the early morn. It was too early for this, but he continued to walk, being the mule as always. He crystal blues studied the area as he and Cassandra made their way to the training grounds, which were closed off with simple concrete type barriers. ”What do they take us for? This is all they have put up in order to keep us out? Damn it all, I am not a hatchling, so why do they treat us as such?” Cassandra continued kicking her feet, gently rubbing the large white scales on Ladon’s shoulder, ”Oh, Ladon, do give up. They just expect us not to break the rules on our first day here. That’s all.” Her words were a bit cheerful and content as she sat there looking over the barriers to the training area.
The training area itself had a large open field with a few tiny bodies of water and a few sandy spots. Cassandra assumed they tried to make it that way to make the dragon’s feel more at home, but she was sure that Ladon was feeling a bit left out since there was not a single thing dealing with ice on the field. If one would look further back you would see a large, castle like structure.
Glancing around a bit, Ladon noted the dragon’s about them, but his eye caught themselves glued to a young man, one without a dragon at his side. Blinking a few times, he looked to the right, if he were human it would be more distinct about his cocked eyebrow, ”Catch a load of that guy… No dragon anywhere. I wonder if he’s just lost on the grounds or his pact mate is back at the prison.” Cassandra lightly kicked the side of his neck, ”Stop gawking, will yah! It’s rude.” But then, it was too late as she suddenly glanced over to the man herself and realized it was the one that was whose quarters were right down the hall from her own. Ladon was not the only one to see the man without a pact companion, but she was equally curious about it. She was sure that he had one, if he did not, he would not even be here.
Ladon huffed a little, the white mist spilling from his nostrils, ”Ehem, you’re staring…” Cassandra quickly glanced back to the closed off area in front of her. Her ears picked up the small group of girls that were to her left, who were looking around Ladon and her in order to get a better look at the lone male to her right. Quirking a brow she rolled her eyes and spurred Ladon on closer to the barriers. Best not get in the way in the affairs of preppy girls. They pull hair too much.
Ladon scowled some, glancing back to Cassandra, “You all right?” A soft sigh touched his ears, ”Eh, yeah. Just curios is all.” Was that it though? The male was attractive, and one did need to make friends whilst away from home. She sighed for a moment before looking back at him, with a gentle scowl on her face. ”You’d think he’d get tired of all the girls gaping like fishes over him. If I were in his shoes, I’d hideaway in the stable or my room all day.” There it was, finally a face palm moment, she quickly glanced away from the man, wanting to punch herself in the face. She said it out loud, though whether he would here her over the shrill voices of the girls on the other side of her was another story.
”Hm, wanna’ go talk to him?” “What? No!” Ladon turned in the man’s, ”Let’s go talk to him.””LADON!!” Ah, but it was too late, within a few seconds they had made their way over to the young gentleman and were sitting there in silence in front of him. Cassandra could not hide the discontent look from her face as she kicked Ladon on the side of the neck. ”Um, I’m sorry… I’m afraid my pact mate is a bit nosey this morning.” Such a negative tone aimed at Ladon, and the sad thing is, Ladon enjoyed it. For a moment, Ladon knelt down and almost threw Cassandra completely off of him; luckily she tumbled off of his shoulder and onto her feet, instead of her face. Sadly, that part of her body suffered enough this morning.
The glare, oh, the glare. Ladon was suddenly having a blast. Cassandra ran a hand over her dark hair for a moment and cleared her throat, ”I’m Cassandra and this dolt is Ladon.” She nodded her head into Ladon’s direction, which he slightly nodded his head in the other males direction. For a moment, Ladon stretched his neck out a bit, taking in the man’s scent and then exhaled an extremely cold breath for a dragon of his size. ”Huh. He has a pact beast; I can smell it all over him. It’s another male. He must be back at the stables. The male here doesn’t seem so bad. I don’t smell any blood about him or anything, so at least we know he hasn’t killed anyone. Eh, either that or he just knows how to clean up.” Cassandra listened to Ladon’s ridiculous speech, but said nothing in return, but waited for a response from the man in front of her.

xxxxx▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬terra carter▬▬▬▬▬Week: 1 Post: 3 The grounds were, as expected, quite large. There was more than enough space for both pact mates to navigate their way around without causing unintended destruction to the immediate area. Since strolling around the dorms was a clear impossibility, they ended up veering towards a larger field that gave a decent view of the training grounds not too far beyond them. Terra looked at the closed-off section of the property with a wistful expression. It was a shame they were not allowed a decent chance to make use of them on the first day. However, before the idea of moving closer had fully set in her mind, a row of dagger-like teeth obstructed her view and she halted. She scowled at Selda and ducked under the dragon's leg and to the other side again. It was as plain as day that a lecture was going to be coming, and Terra had no intentions of listening so easily. Once more, she was blocked from her goal by a scaly tail.
The dragon's upper lip curled back in another toothy grin, guiding her human away despite the protest. "Oh come on Selda. Where's your sense of adventure?" Terra complained, half-heartedly glaring at the beast. Her feet were knocked out from under her and she ended up being carted away on her companion's tail. Gripping onto the spines so that she would not fall off, she found herself brought up to face Selda again. The woman gritted her teeth. There were times when the impassive, knowing look was simply downright irritating. However, no amount of glaring seemed to have any effect. "You lack any form of tact. Just because a place is restricted doesn't mean it gives you a right to go breaking in." A groan of annoyance escaped the human, her resolve stubborn on the matter. Still, it was made rather clear that unless she found a way to escape, then there was no chance of getting to the training grounds that easily.
Since that idea was now out of the option, Terra had to search for something else to do. Even if the pact beast was a killjoy more often than not, there was still a valid point involved. Looking around as they started to move again, she spotted a group of girls who were giggling and ogling in a fairly blatant manner. The object of their apparent affection was hardly her concern, but messing with a lowered guard sounded delightfully more fun. With that concept in mind, she took a quick glance at Selda. Her line of sight was no longer on the young woman, so Terra took the lapse to her advantage. Opening and closing her palm, she formed a thin, but durable white blade in her hand. They were close enough that it would probably work out well enough. With a downright sinister grin, she took careful aim and threw it towards the group. It flew by, clipping the hair of one of the girls and sending them into a panic. Their shrill, high-pitched voices blew a relatively harmless event into a much grander one. Looks that promised severe pain to the perpetrator found their way to Terra, but she was laughing too hard to care about them.
Selda looked somewhat amused, but the stern expression which took its place was a decent sign that the action was not entirely encouraged. Sitting up straight, the young woman tried to suppress the giggles enough to talk. "T-Technically, they should have been more aware of themselves. People shouldn't slack off just because they have a nasty bodyguard." Terra managed to say in her own defense. Those kinds of people were especially low in her opinion. They deserved a little torment every now and again, regardless of what may possibly come of it. So what if she was the villain? It was much more merciful to give them a dose of reality before they found themselves in a real situation. Selda rolled her eyes and merely watched the situation as a whole, including both the victims and their object of affection. Ultimately, she shook her head in a disinterested manner."You're a troublesome human, you know that?"

What little peace there was happened to be quickly tossed aside upon the arrival of his new guests. The gust of wind was no doubt due to a dragon, though what he partook was not what he expected. Within his peripheral he took sight of a large white dragon, a sight not normally seen during these times. Though he could tell from the style of their arrival, one of them did not seem to be as eager to come. He pondered on whether they merely were here to chat or challenge. Either option didn't seem to be unimaginable, given he had seen both take place on several occasions already.
Alas his questions were answered as her companion nearly catapulted her off and made notion to Demetri. What stunned him for a moment was the woman herself, given that her appearance seemed familiar of sorts. He thought back to earlier, wondering if he had seen her within the dorms or not but couldn't quite place where. The day had gone by so fast, it was difficult to keep track of things. He brushed the thought aside and tussled his hair, sheepish smile lining his face. "Oh no don't worry about it. It's refreshing to have a bit of company, even if they swing in at out of the blue." Demetri chuckled lightly at the display put on between the two of them. It was amusing and reminded him of his own relationship with Tarick.
Upon her introduction, Demetri lowered his head slightly and bowed in respect. "Certainly a pleasure to make your acquaintances. I'm..." Demetri was stopped short as the dragon moved his head forwards and sniffed the air near him, obviously picking up his scent. Demetri stood wide eyed for a moment but soon picked up the reasoning for it. He cleared his throat to regain his composure and quickly went back to finishing. "...Name's Demetri Hollowind. I'm going to assume he was trying to detect my pact mate. And yes I do. However he is not accompanying me at the moment. He is weary from the trip so I'm letting him sleep for now. Not to mention he sounded a little cranky. I don't think he would warm up to new people right now" He let out a light hearted laugh over the thought. Certainly Tarick was cranky, and Demetri was sure that the sight of a gleaming white dragon would only rouse Tarick's agitation. Course he never knew how Tarick would react around others. Besides his birth mother, Tarick didn't have much exposure to others besides his kin.
Between the small wave of Landon's wing, Demetri caught sight of a few girls lingering a way behind them, gocking at either himself or the dragon. Once he recognized whom it was he immediately covered his face with his palm, muttering into his palm about them. "Oh dear...It seems I've developed a fan base or something. Those lasses over there were taking their fair share of eye candy earlier this morning. Well hopefully they stay at that distance their. Already got a big enough friend breathing down my neck." His disposition quickly turned passive as he moved his gaze back onto Landon and tossed up a hand apologetically. "No offense to you big fella." As if his prayers were answered, the girls were immediately put into distress at the sudden loss of hair caused by thrown projectile. Demetri followed their scared and angered expressions to the perpetrator. Though Demetri found it mildly amusing, he also found the action unnecessary. Despite it, Demetri stayed passive on the ordeal and merely observed. Week: 1 Post: 4

xxxxx▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬terra carter▬▬▬▬▬Week: 1 Post: 4 Terra followed her dragon's gaze, watching intently both for the retaliation of the shallow excuses for pact owners as well as some form of testimony from the three witnesses who were otherwise, uninvolved within the minor incident aside from gathering the ones she deemed worthy of torture. She raised an eyebrow and looked back at the young man, almost daring him to try and challenge her actions. Having nothing to do really was a dangerous position for her to remain in, especially when it led to times like these. Whatever the reason was, she found that the reaction she got was essentially, nothing but passive. She grinned at him and his companions in a rather toothy manner. Traces of laughter still trickled through her voice. "Fine morning, don't you think?" A slight amount of disappointment at their lack of action had her focus veering back to the group of fans instead. Now they looked ready to murder her. That was much more like it. Of course, she figured that even they were not so thick as to try and go after her while she still had her pact member nearby. That left her with only one logical solution to this slight inhibition.
Gripping onto the bony spines on either side of her, she jumped down. The distance to the ground was not incredibly great, but enough to give her a jolt once her worn out sandals made contact with the earth. She took a moment to absorb the shock before nodding to the trio and cheerfully making her way over to the girls with a maddening glint in her eyes. Selda, feeling the slight absence, took the time to watch her pact mate run off. With a sigh, she settled down for the time being. It would not take long for the human to tire of her victims, unless they decided to react with just as much hostility. Lowering her head, she closed her eyes and listened to the inevitable conflict that was bound to occur. Might as well let Terra do what she wanted. There was a very slim chance of stopping her once she locked onto a target that she found entertaining. So there was nothing that could be done except wait it out, lest they end up repeating the same thing in a much more crowded area. Selda could not help but pity the students who had her pact mate's wrath inexplicably and impulsively directed towards them, but did nothing to try and interfere. It was too troublesome to deal with.
The young woman moved a fair distance away from the dragon, walking up to the group without a care in the world. Her grin widened, giggling as she got a closer inspection on her handiwork. They did not say anything just yet, probably out of either fear or sheer rage. Terra sincerely hoped that it was the latter since it would be an ever so intriguing experience to see how spoiled girls went about extracting their revenge. She went right up to the girl she victimized and took hold of the jagged ends she had cut off. Letting out a low whistle, she was delightfully entertained by the expression of pure disdain she was getting. "Wow, I'm a better shot than I thought. You might want to have that looked after princess." Perhaps it was not the brightest of moves to openly mock the girl from such a close distance, but she had full confidence that the sad excuses for preppy girls were terrible at fighting. The manicured nails were probably the closest things to weapons that they knew how to use effectively.
The group let out a mixture of whines and huffs, but appeared to reconsider taking any actual revenge against Terra. Following their gaze yet again, she saw them staring at the trio before deciding to storm off in their same haughty manner. "They won't make a move in front of their idol so it seems." Selda noted, not even bothering to look in her pact mate's direction at the time. It was hardly worth the effort to spell out every kind of social convention to the human, especially if she had no interest in acting in a proper manner. Terra ignored the insight for the time being, opting to retrieve her small knife that was still lying around not too far away. She looked somewhat angry, but otherwise did not make any more hostile actions. "Figure they'll turn the rest of this place against me?" She asked Selda, taking the blade and shoving it back in her palm. It melted into her skin and settled back into its proper place while she awaited the silent response. "Most likely." "Sounds like fun."

 C A S S A N D R A ๑۞๑ L E E ๑۞๑ C R E N S H A W Out Of Coffee:: Yayz! We're finally all together. <3 xD Heading off to work everyone. ^_^ I can't tell you what it {really is}, I can only tell you what it feels like And right now there's a steel k n i f e in my windpipe I can't breath but I still fight while I can fight As long as the wrong feels right its like I'm in flight
How simple could this encounter be? The man seemed accepting enough to their sudden approach. Though whether it was due to a polite nature, a lie, or actually not minding any sort of temporary companionship, Cassandra was not completely sure. Ladon continued to look at the male before him over and over, in a curious, yet guarded fashion. He never understood the human’s attraction. What was it they found attractive? Was it the tendrils of hair, the color of their skin or eyes? Was it strength or frailty? Or was it just the scents of one another that drove them insane?
Slipping from his train of thought, Ladon was content watching the current situation play out. Ladon himself was tired of wandering around without reason and was very entertained by the company of a different male, no matter if he lacked strong scales and brilliant strength, like he had. Either way he looked, it was another male for Cassandra to abuse if he ever did anything wrong. Ladon’s attention soon became divided though as he spotted a larger black dragon overhead, with her obvious pact human. ”Well, the pleasure is mine, Demetri.” Glancing to Ladon for a moment, Cassandra rolled her eyes playfully and sighed, ”Forgive him. He was a strict loner out in the wild and not as curious as he is now. Sometimes he can’t help himself. He means no harm…. For the moment.”The touch of a genuine smile broke her lips, but faded a moment as he began talking of the gaggle he had gathered upon his appearance on the school grounds. It was just like the word, gaggle. They were a bunch of gawking noisy girls trying to grab the attention of some random guy. Wait… Then what did that make…. Ladon? ”Heh, I see this… I saw that as well.” Cassandra paused a moment before turning a shade of pink before quickly speaking again, ”I mean, I saw the girls this morning, ah-heh-heh.” Laughing stiffly she crossed her arms over her chest for a moment due to her nervousness. Ladon arched a brow for a moment before shaking his head and glancing back to Demetri. ”Shirtless, huh? And what on earth is he meaning big? He doesn’t mean I’m fat does he?” Ladon stretched his neck out a bit more, his head growing a bit closer to Demetri again, while his light blue eyes became tiny slits. If only Cassandra could punch Ladon in the head, just once, she would feel so much better. Or better yet, maybe if she could learn to keep her thoughts to herself better.
A moment passed before a small bit of chaos slipped into the silence. Cassandra and Ladon slowly glanced back to the group of females behind them, the screams and shrieks echoed throughout the area for a few seconds before they died down to soft laughter coming from above. Cassandra looked up into the morning sky and scowled a little, in truth the action was a bit uncalled for, but in a way it was still amusing. ”Well, looks like someone was listening.” Cassandra chuckled a bit softly. ”Heh, looks like the girls Pact beast isn’t too fond of her actions either. No matter how you look at it, this might be trouble, Cass…” Ladon continued looking up in the same direction as everyone else. He studied the dark, large dragon above. Due to her size, she was more than likely a war dragon.
Cassandra continued looking over the scene, a little bit surprised in truth, especially since the hunter now jumped down to the hunted. Her eyebrow quirked a bit, ”Eh? Got a pair doesn’t she?” Cassandra said in reference to the invisible pair of testacies the girl must have. Chuckling softly, swayed from one leg to the other, finding a more comfortable position to stand with. She was unsure of trying to speak to the girl in anyway, whether to set her straight or laughing more at the situation was a different story all together. ”My, my, quite the trouble maker it seems. I’m amazed at how tolerant she is.” Ladon glanced back to the female pact mate a short distance above them. ”Well, what is she too do? Squish her?” Naturally replying out loud to Ladon was an often occurrence, though neither one of them paid any attention to what the other people around were wondering unless they asked, most of the time they were off in their own little world. Sighing a bit, Cassandra stepped forward, Ladon moving back behind the two humans at his side. ”Hey, now… Don’t you think that’s a tad uncalled for?” A smudge of a grin touch her lips at the other young woman across the field, Cassandra stood, her arms still crossed over her chest. ”Uncalled for? Don’t you realize that in particular dragon in the sky, is a little bit bigger than me?? Don’t you think I’d have a little bit of a problem saving you from it?” Ladon spoke with a bit of panic before reaching over Demetri and gently biting onto the back of Cassandra’s shorts, pulling her back some, closer to the group, mainly closer to him for protect. His actions received nothing more than a glare and a light swatting action. Though it was annoying from time to time, at least it showed that he cared. Ladon would not let her run off and do anything stupid, after all those times of running away it was always he who forcefully brought her back. ”I think I can take care of myself, Ladon!” ”Damn it, human. I’m not worried about you with her,” Ladon said in reference to the human before looking up to the dragon in the sky, ”I’m worried about me with her.” Cassandra rolled her eyes and waited for a response from anyone, but him.

xxxxx▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬terra carter▬▬▬▬▬Week: 1 Post: 5 A voice directed towards her now held the woman's attention, looking at its source with a calculating expression. This one seemed to be a bit more on the intelligent side than the ones she had just finished dealing with. There was a decent chance that she could manage to hold a conversation with the other girl, especially if she was brave enough to speak up after her little display. Grinning, she walked closer to her, stopping just a few metres away from the group. The slight protectiveness of the unusually pale dragon was not something she was going to trifle with, or at the very least provoking it while being in a close range was not a very favourable position to be in. Placing her hands on her hips, Terra examined the other woman, her pact beast and the young man they were talking with previously. Sure, they were not immediate threats, but being who she was often gave her a number of enemies. Sizing them up was essentially, out of a form of paranoia. Typically it was a wise move, albeit unnecessary more often than not. "I would say it was more like a mild, and apparently delayed, dose of reality. This place isn't designed to be a playground...Well, in my case, I suppose it is. However that is completely besides the point." She admitted after a moment's thought, shrugging in a carefree manner. The fate of her previous engagements were only so interesting to ponder to a point. They would probably still remain their spoiled little selves, although perhaps with a bit more wisdom than before.
Watching the group a little more closely, she smirked in clear amusement as the dragon continued to keep his human close to him. Seemed like the cautious type. A slight shadow passed overhead and she found the reason for the action. Looking up, she locked onto Selda's form, her mild irritation leaking through their link. "Quit being all high and mighty. They all know you're terribly ferocious and would swallow them in a heartbeat if need be." The dragon snorted at the comment, landing behind Terra and looking down on her; not that there was any other way to see the human. "I don't suppose that hovering behind you would place a better impression. Honestly, it's difficult to be civil with a human like you." The dry comment earned a snicker from the woman, fighting off a wide grin from appearing. It figured that when not trying to act intimidating, her pact beast was refined and graceful. It was her belief that the dragon held two personalities, and the comment hardly helped calm the thoughts down to a reasonable level. An unusually noble dragon paired with an unusually bold human; what an ironic team they made.
Terra looked back to the girl she was conversing with, ignoring the overgrown lizard that was standing right behind her and staring intently at the other dragon. By all means did Selda intend to make him wary of her, especially since it may prompt an interesting retaliation from the otherwise small dragon. "Besides, technically I didn't draw any blood and last time I checked, hair isn't really a necessary part of our survival. Might as well get the harpies to hate someone who can take it now instead of letting some unfortunate chap bite the bullet." Of course, that secondary reason was not one that she fully expected the others to understand. However, Terra believed it to be a much better way of phrasing it than simply saying that she was bored, passing by, and thought that the best way to kill time was to scare a group of young women for the fun of it. That notion would probably not go over so well.

✠ Lüҁaƨ Ɲighʈiƞg ✠ "..Strike from darkness, Hide in light Range is silence, Silence is golden The wild is our home, It provides everything we need Learn our ways, Learn our Creed.." -Hunter's Creed part 1 ‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒ The sky, wind in your face, the feeling of freedom, it doesn't get much better then this. Everything seems to rush, a blur. The speed...
A female's voice spoke inside of his mind. "Lucas, I think this is it." Lucas began to return to the real world, his mind venturing back to life. The voice belonged to his life friend and dragon, Alora. Ther were high up in the sky, though, at the moment, She slowy hovered. Looking out, the hatted Lucas noticed the large building. "Lovely..." Sarcasim filled the statement.
The Eagle looking, feathered wing dragon began to fly down to the ground, slowling slightly as she got closer. Finally landing on all fours, Alora folded her wings as Lucas jumped off her back. There was a very small harness on Alora, only to the point that he could hang on. He never really sat down while riding. They both discovered that it's easier to lean when he is slightly standing. On Lucas' back there was a large bag with a quiver and bow strapped on. At the moment he wore a t-shirt with his black slacks. Of course the wide brim, fedora like hat resting tightly on his head. Lucas turned and placed his hand on Alora's long neck. Alora was of a race of dragon's that are smaller then most, but also one of the faster races. She stood about 27 feet, without the neck fully stretched. But it was the wingspan that got most people because her wing span was very large considering her size. "Listen, wait out here, I'll go inside and drop this stuff off and find my dorm." Alora nodded but her eyes drifted toward the stable building that was a good distance away. "Don't tell me I'll be staying in that cramped place?" Lucas turned to look at the stables too. "It looks like." Lucas heard the sigh in his head. Alora wasn't happy about that. She was used to open spaces and never really being boxed in. That is what it's like in the mountains. Nothing but open air to fly, and open caves to sleep in. Lucas patted Alora's neck, as if trying to reasure. Then he walked off, making his way inside the very medieval inspired building.
Alora walked around a bit, just studing these new surroundings. After exploring a bit she walked back to the spot where she had just landed. She didn't like the idea of being here, but Lucas didn't either. He said though that it is for the best. So if he will deal with it, then so shaw she. Alora laid down, lower her eagle like head against the grass. She would rest for a bit till Lucas returned.
As for Lucas, he found someone of the staff to help him out in finding his dorm room. Strange, the dorm room was a good size and it didn't look like he had to share it. There was a nice large window on the left side that overlooked the back field and stables were in view. He noticed a couple of other's with dragons, he wondered how many they would be in the final count. He had learned about this place from a letter he had recieved from a messenger. Funny thing about it was the messenger was a dragon rider himself. Irony was always a funny aspect of the world.
After droping off his stuff, Lucas slowly made his way back outside. As he walked, he studied the halls trying to burn the way into his mind. Being a hunter, he has a very good memory when it comes to learning places. So this just came rather natural to him.

After the initial advance from her scaly companion, Demetri took any notion from the dragon without much fret. He could tell he was being judged and questioned with that gaze but it didn't bother him. He was free to assume what he thought. Though given Ladon had yet to attempt any threatening manner, Demetri believed he had "passed the test". "Oh his curiosity doesn't bother me. Makes him seem a little protective. Kinda a cute gesture I must say." Demetri hid a chuckle behind the back of his hand. He rolled his eyes upon Cassandra's comment over the girls, obviously noting something she was trying to "hide". Once he got to thinking, he wondered if perhaps she was the girl he caught of glimpse of at his door but once again tossed it aside, finding it best not to linger on it.
Though the conversation continued, Demetri was mainly focused upon the scene unfolding not far from their location. It would seem the woman was apparently unphased by her actions nor seemed to show any remorse. In fact she seemed to rather enjoy it. Demetri didn't find it all to amusing, but was along with Cassandra on find it a bit uncalled for. Though he must admit it was refreshing to have an anti stalker hovering nearby. Demetri folded his hands behind his head, leaning mostly onto one leg. "Well despite how obnoxious the notion was, I must admit I'm a bit thankful for it. Certainly scurried off those obsessed goo goo eyed girls." Demetri's gaze followed the dragon hovering in the air as it found its place behind her pact mate. The dragon was massive in size, in comparison to Taric. Though if his memory of his mother's pact mate was honest, his mother's was a monstrous beast. Alas he was a small lad then and his perception may not have been as keen as it is now.
"Well might I ask your name so I may at least speak to you properly?" Demetri didn't mean anything bad from his words but namely he was more of a formal being. Preferring to speak to others as properly until they became more acquainted. Demetri shifted his stance a bit and slowly extended his hand towards Terra, offering a handshake in case she was humble enough to accept it. "Name's Demetri Hollowind. I'd offer to introduce you to my pact mate but sadly he is resting at the moment." Week: 1 Post: 5

 C A S S A N D R A ๑۞๑ L E E ๑۞๑ C R E N S H A W Out Of Coffee:: Sorry so short, kinda preoccupied at the moment trying to get things together. I can't tell you what it {really is}, I can only tell you what it feels like And right now there's a steel k n i f e in my windpipe I can't breath but I still fight while I can fight As long as the wrong feels right its like I'm in flight
Ladon slid a glare in Demetri’s direction, ”What do you find me as? A pansy? I don’t know whether to be offended or act like I did not hear it.” Cassandra laughed a little at Demetri’s statement and Ladon’s response, ”Protective. Yeah, you could call it that.” Ladon’s hold upon the back of her shorts slowly loosened, freeing her from his grasp. Though the other female human seemed a bit mouthy and one to cross boundaries unnecessarily, he figured she would not be much of a threat at the moment. His crystalline hues looked up over the war dragon before him with a judgmental eye. He was not much for the warrior type. Many of them seemed to irrational, nothing but trouble seeking brutes in the end. He had never met a dragon of this one’s size to hold a decent thought yet. Though, there were first times for everything and he, in truth, was not one to judge in a harsh manner often. Out of common respect he nodded in the darker reptiles direction and continued his silence. Letting out a long exhale, his breath escaped out into the warm air as a puff of thick mist due to the temperature difference. Cassandra could feel the expulsion of air upon her back a bit and shivered. The giant’s breath was quite cold even for the heat of the morning.
Cassandra paused for a moment, finally getting a response from the woman. Chuckling, Cassandra shrugged a bit, ”Ah, well, I suppose you have a point, though I will admit I’m sure she is giving you plenty of enemies as we speak, however. Seems to be a rough crowd here and there so far.” A smirk touched her lips before she glanced to the side to see Demetri slipping his hand out in introduction. Pondering about the same action, she figured it’d be best to wait until he was done.
Ladon on the other hand glanced around, letting his eyes wander before glancing about towards the dormitory. For a moment he stood in shock, then in wonder, but mostly still shock. Dragon’s eyes have always, and will always been much better than a humans, so what he was taking in with his focused eyes looked to only be a short distance away instead of across the large grassy field. ”Fea…thers?” The dragon blinked once, twice, three times before glancing to the female dragon across from him and then back to the dragon in the distance. That it was, feathers from snout to where the spade tip would spike outward on the end of a dragons tail. ”In all my years…. And I thought I was the odd ball.” Cassandra glanced in the direction Ladon was focused on, but could only see the dragon in the distance, no feathers, just dragon. ”Ladon… Are you all right?” Cassandra scowled a bit for a moment, but Ladon gave her only silence instead of an answer as she stared out into the distance. Rolling her eyes, she looked back to the human girl in front of her, ”I’m Cassandra, and this is Ladon.” Pointing back to Ladon for a moment she smiled.High off of love, drunk from my hate It's like I'm {huffin'} paint and I love it, the more I suffer I suffocate and right before I drown, she r e s u s c i t a t e s me She ********' hates me and I love it.

xxxxx▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬terra carter▬▬▬▬▬Week: 1 Post: 6 Tilting her head to the side, a mild look of confusion crossed her expression. Were these people seriously that passive about it? They were even going so far as to act in a decently courteous fashion. The action was slightly baffling, but she would not object to it. Whatever the reason was, these people were decent enough. She was going on a feeling, but she did not see Demetri or Cassandra as the same kinds of people she liked to torment. So at the very least she could return the favour and act in a friendly manner. The hesitation was brief, placing her short moment of unease aside as she reached out and shook Demitri's hand. "Theresa Carter, but just call me Terra. No one calls me the former for good reasons." She said sheepishly, letting go of his hand when she stopped talking for the moment. Instead she gestured to her dragon and introduced her as well. "Her name's Griselda, a combat type, and probably the closest friend I've got. Although I suppose that goes for anyone in a pact, no?" The said beast was watching him intently, but seemed to be much more aware of the area as a whole as opposed to staring down one person. An ear twitched when another, somewhat different dragon landed near the school. Aside from the acknowledgement of that change, as well as a returning inclination of the head to Landon, she remained perfectly detached from their business.
"I'm not worried about them really. Although you should probably keep a closer eye out. If they have the guts to keep blatantly stalking you after that, you both might be in trouble. It's the serious ones you need to watch." Terra advised, seeming surprisingly serious about her comment. Sure, it seemed to be Demitri's immediate problem, but there was a good chance they would turn on Cassandra too if they thought her to be suspiciously close to him. That was absolutely absurd, but so was drooling over someone from a distance, so she did not put it past them. There was no guarantee that they would turn on her and leave the others alone, so a fair warning seemed like the right thing to do. At least pointing it out was good enough for clearing her conscience. Watching the other girl, she grinned mischievously. "Let's see...It's the first week of school at an academy for people and dragons. Saying the crowds are going to be rough is probably a pretty accurate assumption." She laughed, appearing a bit more like herself now that the whole concern aspect was done and over with. Whether or not the notion was an appreciated one, she had no idea. Words were not necessarily her strong point, an issue which had her stuck in many foul situations.
Selda was happy remaining away from the conversations of humans. Of course, none of them there would be able to understand her apart from Terra, so the idea was a useless waste of time. However, she did find it somewhat within her interest to talk with Landon, if not for the fact that there was absolutely nothing else to do. "Is that so surprising?" She asked, watching the dragon in an almost curious fashion. The idea that it was a new discovery seemed to be a bit peculiar to her. Turning her head as the feathered reptile disappeared into the stables, she spoke again in an almost monotonous fashion. "With all the different regions, there are bound to be unusual kinds of us among them. Although as far as most go, you're still fairly strange if that's what you were doubting." The scathing comment was not completely intentional, she just called it as she saw it for the most part. A shame that had to be a trait that she shared with Terra. The pact beast kept paying attention to the humans, just in case her own acted out of order. That did not seem to be the case; a rather thankful occasion. So with that, she waited to see how exactly the other dragon reacted.

✠ Lüҁaƨ Ɲighʈiƞg ✠ "It is like a voyage of discovery into unknown lands, seeking not for new territory but for new knowledge.." -Frederick Sanger ‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒ Eyes, Alora could feel them watching, the question that followed was who. She lifted her head looking around, scanning. Finally she found the source, two Dragons off in the distance. She could see them with quite detail. Not only because of the advanced eye sight of the Dragon race, but also being gifted with the physical similarities of a Eagle, that includes another gift of eyesight, along with hearing. Trully, Alora could focus her hearing to hear the slightest cricket over a mile away, if not farther. And her eyesight was just as grand.
Mainly Alora focused her eyes on the white one, Male judging by the figure. Though despite the rarity it is to see a white dragon. Alora, being from the arctic northern mountains, where Albino creatures are a bit more common. So she has seen a Albino dragon, but only once. Her mother has seen a total of two, one was slaughtered, the other...well lets just leave that as a storie for another time. It wasn't till she heard the sound of Lucas' foot steps that she turned from the two. Now looking toward her best friend, and pact mate. "Maybe we should see some of the other's that come here."
The voice of Alora filled Lucas' mind. All this just as he walked closer. He stopped now standing infront of Alora. Lucas placed his hand on her beak like snout. "I take it you already have someone in mind." Funny thing was, he could feel the small touch of interest that Alora held for this male White dragon. "Having a crush already, dear?" Lucas said inside of his mind. Alora recoiled, moving her head away from his touch, while at the smae time letting out a mental smirk, one of unamused. Lucas couldn't help but chuckle a bit.
Alora stood, streching out a little then began to lead the way over to this group. Lucas walked over now standing to the left side of Alora. He kept in pace. Soon though they came into view of the group, and the two could see all who was there. Three humans, A lad, and two ladies. Both of the ladies seemed to be quite easy on the eyes, they both had a beauty to them. He then heard a all to familiar voice in his mind. "Having a crush already, dear?" Alora mocked him, and Lucas couldn't help but quietly smirk. "Hello?" Lucas spoke as he grew closer to the group.
