He smiled slightly as the boy talked, obviously trying to rile him up. It wouldn't do much good though, as it was more amusing than anything else. At least he didn't look like he was about to die anymore. "And I see you got yourself fixed up after our little bout. Surprised you made it though, since I found at least three relics in your home town. A pity that you couldn't see what was right before your eyes, no?" He smirked, enjoying the banter slightly. "I suppose they did manage to spot one of them on their own. Well, Zin did anyways. Aburame was useless after that forest." David muttered, glancing at the ceiling for a moment. He really hadn't realized just how easily he had found those until this point. They had never even paused in their search, always knowing where the next relic was. Interesting. Vendors and street paerformers were on every corner, selling goods from all across the continent, or performing magic tricks for a crowd's enjoyment. People wandered all about the streets, children laughing and enjoying the festivities. Powerful Nobles from many of the nations walked along, escorted by private guards, eager to spot a potential addition to their ranks amongst the competing genin. Yet out of all these people, one young boy seemed to stick out from the crowd.
He wore a dark blue mask, covering his entire face below his nose. The headband he wore covered his right eye, making his left eye the only visible part of his face. Even more strange than the placement of the headband was the headband itself: it had what appeared to be small horns on the top of it, and rather than denoting a village, bore the Kanji for "venom". A second headband, one sewn into the back of his shirt, clearly showed his affiliation with Kirigakure. His brilliant white hair, giving off no impression of old age whatsoever, seemed to shine in the sunlight of the day, brighter than even his white Kirigakure battle uniform. A long, red scarf hung from his neck, blowing ever so slightly in the small breeze the day had procured. But strangest of all, he had an eighteen inch purple snake with black rings around it's body coiled on his left shoulder, making small whistling noises every time an attractive female walked by.
The boy moved with confidence toward the arena, following the signs to a building marked "Participants". As he approached the door, two Jounin guards stopped him, and simply asked "Your name?" Without hesitation, the boy said, "Hatake Yamatano." As the Jounin guards looked at him, they gave him a curt nod of approval and stepped away from the door, allowing him entrance. Upon opening the door, Yamatano was quite pleased to see several familiar faces, even if one or two of them wer faces that he didnt particularly care for. He first noticed his teammate for the second exam, Shinji, fighting a fairly intense duel of words against the lone genin from Suna, whom Yamatano had still not been able to place to a name. Another conversation, this one seemingly friendly, was going on between his other teammate, Vincent, and the boy from the exam room who had spotted Kaizen's unusual chakra. Yamatano made a quick mental note to try and change the subject if that came up again, before seeing the face he was most happy to see: his fellow Kirigakure ninja and good friend, Kaizen Minoru. Yamatano walked over to Kaizen, taking a seat next to him, and said with a grin evident even underneath his mask, "So Kai..........when do we fight each other?" “…Must first find out how to get past me.” Fiercely Loyal || Determined || Protective || Aspiring OininChakra Points: 31/31

Kai watched Shinji's and David's little interaction with interest, wondering to what event they could be referring to. But before he had time to start asking questions, he felt the weight on the couch shift. Glancing over his shoulder, Kai was happy to see that his friend had made, and he wasn't even late. Turning to face his friend, Kai's face lit up in a smile that seemed to stretch from ear to ear as he placed his hands behind his head and closed his eyes. "Looks like we'll have to fight each other in the final match. We got placed in two separate brackets it seems, we won't even have the chance to face each other until we get through rest of the the people in our brackets. So promise me you'll beat everyone else, k!""I live to fulfill the dreams of those that came before me" (dude, greg, epic posting format, mind if I steal it and change to fit Kai?)

"Naturally. And I know that I'll be seeing you for the finals, right?" Yamatano said, relaxing a bit more, while Kuro coiled himself up to take a nap on Yamatano's shoulder.
(MINE! scream Shay made it for me. It is quite epic.)

 Zin looked up at the large stadium as he finally made it. Both Nagi and Zin's serpent eyes just widened at the site of it,along with the constant chanting of other villages cheering their students,family members and others on. Before he fully entered,Zin took this last moment before entering the battle grounds to adjust his weights. Slipping his hands underneath his over sized Gi once more and placing his finger tips to the weights,Zin emitted just a little chakra into his arm weights and adjusted the weights by ten,boosting it up to sixty pounds worth of weight. Since his legs were stronger,Zin was able to boost his leg weights by twenty five and raising the overall weight to seventy five pounds worth of weight. The child made sure to do this in the corner and before entering the stadium,in which he covered the weights with his baggy clothing and entered. Still taking in that he was now walking along the same grounds that his father,grandfather,and uncle have done before him! He could even catch their scents lightly in the mist of the crowds. Which meant that failure was not an option in the least.

 UchihaTaiji Genin | Katon | Konoha Taiji tossed a bag of gummies in the direction of zin as he entered the arena. "Good luck on your fights little one, you'll make konoha proud, I know it." Taiji tried his best to give his fellow konoha nin some inspiration, He knew zin would do them all proud with his battle abilities, Taiji had seen it in action once back in their home village.

Being the history buff that he was, Yamatano had of course read about the Hyuuga clan, but didnt know very much beyond the basics. "A Hyuuga? Well, obviously the redeeming feature is the Byakugan, the all seeing white eyes that can see a persons chakra system. And their taijutsu style, the Jyuuken, is one of the most deadly in the world. If they hit you, they can rupture your internal organs. Theres also one technique I know they can do, and it can shut down your chakra system. And.......Sorry Kai, thats all I got. Why do you need to know?"

| Konaga Clan | Speed/Offensive Type | Iwagakure | Genin | "Hmmph." Shinji scoffed at David's comment on his not finding the other artifacts in his own village... "There is a difference between being able to see things and being able to obtain them. we got everything that we could in Iwagakure, everything else was beyond our means at the time." Shinji then thought back to what the young ninja must have meant in saying that he 'got himself fixed up'... as there was nothing really wrong with him after the fight. Sure his arm was paralyzed, but that wasn't a surprising side effect of his bloodline given the circumstances.
Then suddenly it struck him. Just as he had a poor understanding of what the boy's link with his strange sand technique was, David seemed to have no idea why Shinji himself was debilitated. Had he not just used several augmentations, been low on chakra and then had chakra forced into his body, the fight would have been different. He was glad however that the boy was left in the dark as to why he was actually hit so hard in their little spat. A coy smile came over his face, but then morphed into a bit of a mischievous grin. "Fixed up indeed. As if a meager punch as that would have taken me out. You'll just have to wait to enjoy my full strength this time around."
Shinji hadn't really realized it fully yet, but he felt like he was fighting with a child. Shinji towered a full two and a half feet over the boy, and had only just now realized the difference in their height. However, if someone so small was still able to get so far and perform as he did in their fight, Shinji knew that he could not be an average child. Still, he couldn't help but think about what a fully augmented punch or kick would do to the boy's seemingly much smaller frame. that however, would not hold him back from delivering one given the chance in their fight. "Just try to keep a hold of your own weapon this time around. it would be a shame if I disarmed you two fights in a row. Well, for you that is."

Alright, so what I think I'll do here, since everyone has arrived since Hiniko is just start the matches and send Hiniko a message to warn her...

As the exchanges continue amongst the group, a lone ANBU member walks into the room confidently passed the guards and is given no resistance in reaching the room. Looking around with his mask as cold and silent as ever, he begins to speak, his voice resonating from behind the mask and out across the room. "Congratulations on making it this far young Genin, all of you have cemented yourselves as prime candidates fro promotion already, but there is one test remaining. You will face off with each other one on one now for all of the nations, diplomats, and citizens to see in order to greater prove your worth to them all. At this stage, winning does not seal your promotion, but how you fight does. though, if you win, you will obviously be able to showcase more of yourself to the onlookers."
"I trust you've all seen who you are matched up against, so I won't bother going over the brackets. At the beginning of the match, each contestant will be given a random custom battle arena, and then between the two of you, you will have to choose where you fight. If a consensus cannot be met, I will randomly choose for you. I assure you, the danger in these arenas are real... so don't go thinking you can't or won't be able to be harmed or maimed. A single Jounin proctor will be there to make sure neither of you die, but trust me, that is the only circumstance in which they will interfere. Once an arena is selected... you will be presented with a display of all of the assembled artifacts collected by the groups. You can then choose one of the artifacts to take into the battle with you. Then, you will be teleported to the arena selected and battle will ensue until there is a clear victor. Good Luck to you all."
After explaining the rules, the ANBU guard then turns and leaves silently, prompting two other ANBU to come in and escort the contestants for the first match which were to fight to the Arena, leaving the others behind.

Vincent saw how much rivalry and scores there were to settle among some of the competitors. There was a certain relief on his part that he didn't have a grudge or a score to settle with anyone in that room. And he did hope that he wasn't the target of such a thing either.
After hearing the ANBU come in and explain the rules to the group he understood how things were going to have to proceed. He looked to the board and saw that his first opponent would be Taiji Uchiha.
"Leave it to them to pit an Uchiha with another Uchiha," He scoffed to himself.
He waited a little bit as the matches went on and saw that it was his turn to come up against Taiji. He cleared his throat and headed to the Arena.

David smirked, finally glancing at the board off to the side, where the brackets were listed. That did explain why the others had known who they were fighting didn't it? He had caught a few people's names, and the only unknown on the board was Shinji, which left the boy before him. And also his first opponent. The random arena bit the ANBU mentioned seemed odd though. Why not just fight in this perfectly fine arena they had here? Oh well. And then it hit. Had that ANBU just walked into the room like a normal person? And then left like a normal person as well? That was somehow worse than all of the flashy entrances they had made. Turning back to the window, David smirked. "Let's go then Shinji!" He called out, flipping himself up and out of the window into the arena. [Exit to Arena] [Chakra Point Total: 35/35]

| Konaga Clan | Speed/Offensive Type | Iwagakure | Genin | Surprised by the somewhat strange 'lack' of entrance of this ANBU as compared to the rest, Shinji felt that this one automatically demanded more respect. as such, he listened carefully and attentively until he was finished, upon which he checked the brackets as they were pointed out to him and was pleased to see he was in the first match. Before he could even ask who his opponent was, as he barely knew anyone's names, the young boy which he had been tossing snide comments back and forth with spoke up and leapt through the window, calling him on.
With a pleased expression crossing his face at the opportunity to fight against the one he had already engaged with. it would seem that he was just as anxious to fight as well, which was a good thing. Shinji ignored the boy's strange exit as he watched an ANBU fly after him to escort him to the proper place as Shinji nodded to the other ANBU who led him to the arena.
