Sorry, this is my first real time judging things, but I shouldn't make excuses. *nods* You learn as you move on.

Well this makes sense... Very well.

Path: Make the weakness something that can destroy it, similar to what Hinote has proposed.
For the Xray part, no. Keep that out (weakness).

This was for the X-Ray part, correct? I don't see how infrared goggles could see through the ground.

And think of it this way. If I punch you in the face, the glass in your goggles would shatter, leaving them useless. If I hit you with a raiton jutsu to the face, the wiring would be overloaded and they would end up as nothing but eye protectors.

I'd add in that getting them wet would probably do the same as electricity, but I can't see someone making something like that and not making it waterproof. Just, anything that would logically ruin your tech is a weakness.

Also, while I'm not checking these personally, I feel that your description needs to be expanded upon to more clearly show the abilities.

I had them numbered for that reason. WEakness one went with Strength one.

I'm about to edit it.

RPC Name: Kay Aburame (yeah, it's offcial nah)
Rank: chuunin at least

Technology Name: Infared goggles
Technology Power Rank: AS
Description: 1.) These goggles were invented by Kay after speaking with a few of his summons. They are invented to see in infared as well as normal lighting. The infared images show anything with heat as bright yellow and as such, they can see body temperatures in dead heat or when someone is hiding in light brush. The main use is to find hidden enemies easier.

2.)Compund eyes: simply enhances vision by allowing KAy to see like an insect. Button press on the side activates and deactivates.

1.)Cannot see through water, or too deep into the ground.
2.)Limits peripheral vision greatly, can only see in front of him.
General: They are easily broken by a simple punch to the face. If they are hit with anything directly that has a mass of just under that of a fist, they will break and will need to be repaired. They are weak to raiton jutsu as well as if water were to get into the circuitry it would fry. Even so they were made to be water proof. Also the batteries must charge after ten posts of usage, meaning they have to be cut off and a five post sool down will take effect. If you use them for two turns then turn them off, then use them for two more, than it will have six posts of charge, and they can charge in battle.

Picture: Well, you all know what shippuden shino's goggles look like right?

Technology Name: Chain shooters
Technology Power Rank: Chuunin
Description: A special type of guantlet that fires a length of chain that can easily stick itself inside of a tree, and then opens and serves as a type of grappling hook. However, the user can also fire the other end of one length (ten meters) of chain to sometimes hold two objects together, or even act as a trip wire. If fired at a human, it won't impale, rather jjust push them back and latch on to their skin.
Weakness: Chains break easily, are succeptible to extremely fast rusting (suiton), melting (katon) or even tarnishing (at least c rank fuuton).

Nerd, I have spoken with Mistah, and I'm afraid I'm going to have to recall your weights. Having them raise your max stat, while it does make sense in some ways, is just slightly too OP to be allowed.

Other than that, I personally feel that the drop in agility should be partnered with a strength requirement. While we don't have any set perimeters for how much weight can be lifted per point that I know of, it still makes sense that these would have some effect on strength.

hinote: hmm....well, ok, i see your point. the max stat can be negated, i guess.

also, i was trying to think of an appropriate strength requirement too. maybe 10 for the little, 25 for the medium, and 50 for the large? and, maybe, there should be arm weights that train your strength. what do you guys think?

Go for it. Though the leg weights should most likely have an effect on strength anyways, unless you made agility weights. Special weights that only really affect the wearer's agility because of the specific design.

And the reason I don't just take over entirely, is because I'm lazy. I'm just going to keep a loose eye on all of this stuff and step in when I see something that needs more attention. Otherwise it may never get done if I took over entirely.

[[new and improved application]]

Username: The Nerdbot
RPC Name: Hekiyume Uchiha
Rank: Genin

Technology Name: Agility Weights
Technology Power Rank: Chuunin
Description: These are weights used to train the speed of the user. Due to a special design, the weights work out the muscles present in the leg. A constant vibration moves the muscles in the knees, legs, ankles, and feet, forcing them to move quickly and rapidly instead of applying pressure. The principle of this weight is to kick off the ground at least ten (10) times in a blink of an eye. There are numerous different weights, each affecting the speed and gain of the user. First, there are the little weights. These are the weights that apply pressure to the leg equal to kicking the ground 5 times per second. Wearing them, the owner loses 20 agility. However, he/she gains 1 stat point of speed per 4000 words spent walking around in the weights.

Then there are the medium weights. These weights apply pressure equal to kicking the ground 10 times per second. They lower the user's agility by 50. They, in turn, grant the user 1 agility stat point per 2400 words.

Lastly, there are the heavy weights. They apply pressure equal to kciking the ground 15 times per second. Using these, a user gains 1 stat point per 1000 words they post. However, this causes their agility to go down by 100.

To be able to move in these weights, the user must have at least 15 remaining agility stat points after the stat subtractions.

Weakness: Lowers agility.

Technology Name: Strength Weights
Technology Power Rank: Chuunin
Description: First, there are the little weights. These are about 50 lbs each leg and arm. Wearing them, the owner loses 10 endurance. However, he/she gains 1 stat point of speed per 4000 words spent walking around in the weights.

Then there are the medium weights. These weights are about 100 lbs each leg and arm. They lower the user's agility by 20. They, in turn, grant the user 1 agility stat point per 2400 words.

Lastly, there are the heavy weights. They weight about 250 lbs each leg and arm. Using these, a user gains 1 stat point per 1000 words they post. However, this causes their agility to go down by 50.

To be able to move in these weights, the user must have at least 10 remaining agility stat points after the stat subtractions.

Username: iShayera, obviously
RPC Name: Sanae Isaye Kettei
Rank: Academy Student

Technology Name: Chakra Receptors

Technology Power Rank: Academy Student and up.

Description: A small piercing in the surface of the skin, the receptors are interconnected with the person’s Chakra Pathways System. The user can transmit their chakra through the receptor to the receptors of others. Simultaneously, the receptors receive chakra signals, giving the user the ability to sense chakra within a thirty-foot radius. A chakra pulse transmitted from the receptor can interrupt and distort a genjutsu, but does so only temporarily. If the user doesn’t catch the disruption from the chakra pulse, the genjutsu continues.

Weakness: The user can sense that another chakra source is present within the radius, but does not know the precise location. A pulse of chakra that is the chakra of a Bijuu being used by a Jinchuuriki will overload the receptor and cause the receptor to stop working for three posts. The user must train in genjutsu disruption for five posts every time they rank up, otherwise, they will be unable to disrupt the genjutsu. The user can only disrupt a genjutsu twice per fight. The pulse will not disrupt the genjutsu if the genjutsu is two or more ranks higher than the user of the receptor.

the rank of the receptors has to be higher. perhaps chuunin or jounin.

each receptor can only cancel out one genjutsu. so, if someone has 5, they can cancel out 5 genjutsus.

any person with high chakra will disable the receptor for 3 posts, not only bijuu chakra.

fix those things please and it's approved.
