unless you dare step on one of the little ones. Wrapped inside her safe web, Fiore relaxed as she leaned back onto the thick silk hamock she created with her spider threads. Fiore glanced around as she noticed that more and more Hybrids started to move farther from the border. She didn't mind the others, but if they disturbed her, she wouldn't be so nice. "Something is happening at the border to the human side?" She wondered out loud, crawling to a sitting position, looking toward the human side.

"Wait! Why are you going to the human side?" Alexei asked, popping out from behind the bush. Humans had only ever caused trouble for Alexei. Why anyone but humans would live over there was beyond him. His tail flicked back and for her answer. His cat ears twitched under his hat while his human ones were still.
"Would you mind if I hurt you?

 Beautiful light music wafts around,
the tunes of each note flutters in the air.
For only one thing is for sure,
the sound of the violin. Anna turned around to see a boy, which made her fearful. "Please don't tell them I was here." She asked him as she quickly ran back toward the other side of the border. "To answer you, I am one of the newer Hybrids they created, and my job is to play music for them. That is all." She folded her wings so they were almost flat against her back.

"Why work for them at all? They have you working for them like you don't have any mind. You could stay over here though. They can't punish you over here," Alexei said, trying to help the girl see reason. It disgusted him the way humans made hybrids work for them like robots.

the sound of the violin. Anna blinked and then shook her head. "Either I work or I get stuck back into the cage. I have a job and a place to stay, so I see no point to give all that away." She lifted up her violin, and then said, "I am paid to play the violin, and I enjoy it." Her voice was emotionless. Turning around, she quickly hurry back to the human town not too far from the border.

"Here you don't have to worry about cages!" Alexei called to her as she left. He sighed and turned to walked through the destroyed park. He was on his way to go see Fiore. Perhaps she could shed some light on why that girl had not stayed on the side where she was really free.
"Fiore?"Alexei called well before he came to the girl's web. He knew better than to sneak up on her web. As it was, he was watching where he stepped in case there were any spiders crawling by his feet.

unless you dare step on one of the little ones. Someone called her, and the few that do usually need some help. "Ah, I will be right down." The white spider hybrid dropped down from the upper loft of the web and landed softly infront of Alexei. "Alexei, nice to see you again. What is it this time?" Fiore's sly smile creep upon her face, beckoning the little spiders to retreat back further into the web. "Or you just here for tea?" She joked as Fiore waved her hand toward the section of web where vistors sit so they don't get stuck by the gule that keeps the web more of a web.

"I was hoping you could shed some light on something I have not been able to figure out in all my years," Alexei said, sitting down on the ground. He took off his hat, displaying his second set of ears and pulled his tail around front so he could fiddle with it if he wanted to. "Why do some hybrids stay on the human side and work for them? I just met one who said if they found out she had crossed onto this side they would put her in a cage, but she went back," he explained.

"Most of the newer hybrids that are created are taught to think other hybrids are the enemy. Since you looked like a human when she saw you, she reacted in the way she would to humans. If she knew you are a hybrid, then maybe another reaction could have happened." Fiore looked over to the border that seprates the two places. "And it could be she was afriad of something, or someone. From what you told me, she didn't like being a cage no? But she went back as she was afriad of something bigger than her first fear." Fiore looked at Alexei. "But that is what I think, what do you think?"

Catt wandered through the park, taking pictures of just about anything. The day was slow in the news front, nothing was happening. The trees were still, the sun was just warm enough, and everyone seemed to be getting along. 'A picture of the leaves in the light. A squirrel scurrying around. People smiling, laughing, having fun.' Catt sighed; she missed the feeling of happiness.
She snapped more pictures or absolute nothingness and sat on a bench, skimming through them. Many would be deleted later, few might stay in her personal collection of photos. None usable for work. "Can't something interesting happen today?" She said to her camera. Catt eyed her watch, knowing her time was almost up and that she'd have to get back soon. "A few more pictures, then I'll head downtown." She said, nodding and standing. She moved closer to the border, knowing she wasn't allowed to cross it. She took some distance shots that relieved nothing but a couple talking. 'I hope they didn't see that...' We can’t return we can only look behind

the sound of the violin. A flash was seen as Anna looked over to the person, or hybrid that took a picture. Almost flying, Anna hovered over to the hybrid with the camara. "Excuse, can you burn or delete that picture you took of me, by accident." Anna asked the cat hybrid.

"I think that the humans are stupid control freaks and should let all the hybrids their holding captive go," Alexei said, hugging his knees to his chest. He hated almost all humans. Almost all of them. He took a deep breath before saying, "It's like that old thing where the people got attached to their captor. It was the same as some city in Germany or something. Do you remember what I'm talking about?" he asked referring to Stockholm Syndrome. He could not remember the name of it though.

unless you dare step on one of the little ones. "Ah yes. Sometimes that could be the case too. However, at least you should see if you can find the same hybrid again. If you could, see if you could take her here to the area and show how free it is. Just make sure she doesn't come near the web. I don't like newcomers, unless they are children." Fiore moved her hand over to the baby spider that was crawling over and moved it higher in the web so it doesn't get stepped on.
