While none there were no servants to take note of the fact that Arete's voice had changed, Sora was there and he made sure to take note of that fact. He also noted how Arete's eyes seemed to focus on the air ducts, taking it to mean that he was thinking of them as a way to escape.
While Sora digested all of the information he observed, Feather received it as well as she walked out of the room she and Pix were in, taking the lead with a soft, "Alright, let's go." Tsubasa had been in the palace once or twice before, but nowhere near enough to be familiar with its vastness. Her unfamiliarity meant that she couldn't use Sora's visual cues; instead, she'll need to use her ears. From down one side, she heard a faint laugh just as Sora informed her that Arete had laughed. Putting two and two together, the girl walked in the direction that she had heard the laugh from.
Neither Sora nor Tsubasa liked the idea of Arete even just stealing from the city and, seeing how Feather had been one of the few for making Arete an adept, the girl knew she would feel extremely guilty if Arete had really managed to steal something. With that in mind, she did everything she could to find the bard while making it seem as if she was just casually walking through the hallways. She didn't know what she was going to do once she saw Arete, but she knew she'd have to at least talk him out of stealing. Actually, she hoped that was all she had to do. As usual, the last thing Feather wanted was a fight.
Sora snuggled next to Arete, continuing his oblivious-animal-that-is-really-cute-and-just-happened-to-be-on-Arete's-shoulder-act, and began purring/humming.

Arete glanced at the purring creature. "......you're not much of a talker, are ya?" he asked rhetorically. "Well its alright I guess. This wouldn't be the first time I've traveled with something that rarely ever utters more than two words." Arete sighed, being reminded once again of Fenrir. The memories of his long rants only to hear a simple "shut up" from the wolf king were still fresh in his memory. "......By the way do you remember the chick that shot me down before? What was up with that? I'm still trying to figure it out. Did I come on too strong? There must've been something I did wrong, but what was it? Why has my charm forsaken me!? Its never failed before! I mean seriously lately it seems like my luck has really gone to He-" Arete suddenly froze as he walked right past Tsubasa and Pix. His hair stood on end as he then nervously turned around to face them with an innocent smile, changing his voice to that of Gregory's. "He-He-Hello! Were you two waiting for me?" he asked in a friendly tone.

Speed/Strength: 4/4 Ether move aside or talk to my pets..... ▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄Pix and Tsubasa didn't went far and the same thing didn't went too little. Tho at least Pix and Tsubasa didn't have to walk far till she spotted Gregory was just stood there for a wile when both of Pix and Tsubasa approach. "Oh, so there you are. We wore waiting for you in one of the living room over there..." Pix said to him, buying the shape-shifers tricks. Tho Arete successfully looked and sound like him, pix thinks it seam strange how he studier a bit when talking to her. But she ignored it for now.

"Ummm…," Feather hesitated as she tried to figure out what to do. She had yet to find a suitable option. the girl thought to herself as she studied her options. She could either expose Arete right here and now or wait a bit before springing it up on him, making it seem as if Feather could simply tell from studying him. "Capt-err, King Gregory, are you alright?" the girl asked, worry tingeing her voice as she almost made the same mistake of calling Gregory captain, "You look nervous, did something happen?".
From his perch on Arete's shoulder, Sora tilted his head to the side curiously, his humming-purring thing had stopped. It was a genuine act, as he really was curious as to what exactly Feather was going to do.

The Gregory disguised Arete nodded to Feather. "Yes! Something has happened. The city is being attacked by more of those wisp-things. Go help. Now. Promotion goes to the first one out of the palace." he said in Gregory's serious voice before attempting to quickly walk away from the two, hoping to end the confrontation as soon as possible.

What the hell are you saying?" Pix said to him. Pix is no entrust of "wisp-things" he's telling them to go. The "city being attack" dose but not the "wisp-things". She only heard that "ghost" wonder around the city, but nothing about wisps or attacking. "Your in a hurry? I thought you promise we well discuss what I have to report once you got back talking to those people... suddenly what I have has no entrust in you and willing to get us out? I'm pretty sure the people here in the city can take care of the attack, like wile I was gone. Something is off... Why give out promotion to just leave the palace when we wore suppose to meet here?" Pix said to Gregory a bit puzzled in her face.

Feather finally decided and she quickly grabbed onto one of Arete's sleeves before he could walk out of her reach. "Umm, but you don't have any permission to promote us, Arete," the girl said hesitantly at first before smoothing out her act with a calm tone, "Besides, what are you doing here in the palace, and dressed up like Gregory, too?". With the way things were going, Tsubasa might have decided that she needed to clear up the confusion right then and there, but she still felt that she needed to give Arete the benefit of the doubt to others at the very least. Who know? He might change... hopefully.
Sora, meanwhile, began to prepare while on Arete's shoulder. "Nyu," the little creature sounded out, as cute and seemingly oblivious as ever.

"B-Because I uhhh..." Arete stammered to Pix before freezing completely as Feather revealed his true identity. He quickly tried to think up a way out of the situation, but somehow he could tell that Feather already knew why he was there. The gig was up. Arete sighed and shifted back into his normal form. Bright golden-colored hair replaced Gregory's brown and a guitar revealed itself on his back. "Grrr this is so annoying. How'd you know it was me!?" he frowned in irritation before glancing at Sora, who was still faking its own innocence. However, the hampster in Arete's brain started to run on its wheel and suddenly everything became clear to him. He'd seen the small creature with Feather before back at the academy. Arete gasped and snatched the small creature off his shoulder to point a sharp finger at its face. "It was YOU!! You ratted me out! How dare you use your cute and innocent fluff to trick me! You're supposed to be on my side, trusting and faithful! Not use your innocence for eeeeeeevil! You're a snitch! A rat! A tattletale! A talker! And all of those are definitely NOT CUTE!"

She actually believed that Tsubasa know something that pix doesn't know. Un-able figure it out on her head, the answer sort of revealed before her eyes, when seeing Gregorys form turn into that one ignoring, shirt open guy ignoring guy from before. "You again?" Pix said pretty low to her self, upset that it's quadrants to see him again.
Pix watched as Arete seam to be yelling at Tsubasa's pet friend that was on him the hole time. He actually kinda looked stupid, talking to the hairy fur ball when it can't talk back. Or maybe it can, but Pix never seen it talked. As silly this may amused people, Pix didn't like Arete yelling at Tsubasa's pet.
Pix reached out her hand and move between the hair locks from to grabbed Arete's ear, giving just a slight pull. "I advise that you don't yell Tsubasa's little friend." She said serous to him. Pix has pets of her own, that can be summon at anytime. She sometime grow some feelings to her tamed animals that she had for a long time, caring for them and they care for her to. So Pix has feelings to some other animals mainly Tsubasa pets, since now she made g=her cry earlier. ▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ .....your choice Energy Pool: 1350/1350 Bullets: 180/178

"S-Sora!!" Tsubasa shouted in a mixture of shock and fear as her friend was shaken like a rag doll, "A-ah! Stop, please! He didn't do anything!! I just asked him to stay with you, that was it!". The small girl tried to reach up to stop Arete's arms, always being unable to due to her lack of strength and height in comparison to the older bard. Her eyes were starting to fill with tears as she tried and failed to get her friend to safety.
Sora, meanwhile, was starting to get a headache as his head rocked violently back and forth. "Kyuuuuuuu!" the little creature whined in a mixture of confusion and shock. One moment, he had been atop of Arete's shoulder and the next he felt as if he was in a very fast blender. Finally, he had suffered enough of the tossing around and finally managed to find Arete's finger, which he promptly bit down on. While his teeth weren't exactly sharp at the moment, the bite would have still hurt… probably.

"Oww!" Arete shouted as he was bit by Sora. He immediately released the small creature, letting it fall back into Tsubasa's arms. "Little puff-ball bit me. And would you let go?" he pulled his ear away from Pix and stammered away from the pair.

"So... Arete?" Pix slighted guessed his name, since she heard Tsubasa said it. "Why are you here? Wore you following us?" She simply asked.

Feather made sure to catch Sora gently and cradled him as he regained his sense of balance, the spirals that now replaced his eyes and his circular motions even when he was at rest proof that the guardian was very, very dizzy. "Nyuuu?" the small, furry rabbit-thing seemed to ask as he continued to spin in place slowly as Feather looked at him in worry.
"Are you alright?" the girl asked with worry.
"Nyuu?" was Sora's only verbal response as he turned to face Tsubasa, still spinning slightly. He thought to the girl, {I'm good. Although, I didn't expect him to shake me around. Geez, what did I do that was obviously wrong?}. He then shook his head to fully regain his balance before hopping onto Feather's shoulder with a happy, "Pya!".
Feather sighed in relief as Sora hopped on to her shoulder, thinking, {Umm…. I'm not sure?}. She kept her eyes on Arete and her mouth shut, simply listening to the conversation while petting Sora's head.

"What do you think I am, a stalker? I didn't follow you." Arete sighed, thinking about how he winded up in this situation. "I'm just trying to check out the palace a bit is all, and I thought it would be easier to do as Gregory." he explained. Even though Arete wasn't being completely truthful with them about his intentions, he didn't exactly lie. Instead he craftfully manipulated his own words to tell the truth without giving away too much information. Really he was just buying time though in order to figure a way to escape the area. He needed to get away from these two as soon as possible.
