My reaction:
I respect the fact that he is fessing up to what he did. That being said I think it is utter hypocrisy that he is being let off the hook by most people as easy as he is. The reason for this is not because I think he deserves more heat and hatred from people but because of the blatant double standard that I'm witnessing between the way Gaians treated the girl that made the bento bunny(Flamed her to death) and him (commended for his actions after the fact). My take on it is that if he is truly sorry he should be forgiven but not necessarily let off the hook completely, I feel like he will probably get whats coming to him(whatever that may be) with out me condemning him. This is nothing new though I'm reminded of the quote from Pablo Picaso “Bad artists copy. Good artists steal.”
I do hope he doesn't get flamed to bad and that he is still treated with some type of respect.
I don't blame people for their mistakes but I do ask that they pay for them.

With regards to the Gaia online belt issue, Gaia has contacted me and I consider the issue resolved. The belt should become available again. Thanks everyone for the feedback." Is this recent?
guess it's staying on Gaia then.

So we're keeping the belt, its a nice belt... I wanted to keep it regardless. :3
They should give us the runner-up belt instead. I think the honest artists deserve something.

Ruth, I'm gonna get flamed here but im the person that took your art i dont know what i was thinking i just had that stupid voice in my head say "Go ahead idiot no one will notice" and after i put it up i had one of those /facepalm moments. I'm not an art theif by no means i just had a REALLY bad lapse in judgment and if theres some way i could get you to forgive me ill do it i could post up in the forums or something telling everyone it was your work and not mine. Your apologies are accepted, I respect your courage in admitting your mistake - that's always the hardest part, but I think you'll feel much better after this. The whole issue didn't affect me, in fact I wasn't even aware of it until recently.
I think you've been getting a hard time from some of the comments I read. I hope you'll take it in your stride and develop an interest in your own designs.
Unfortunately Gaia Online has made the decision to remove the item permanently. The people who wanted the belt are probably hurt the most. I think you have to apologise to the people who wanted the belt and voted for it.
