I like the idea of this new Bioshock to a degree but I have to agree with Wumbo. How can this be considered an Idea of Bioshock when its Pre-Plasmid an Pre-Ryan Industries. The title "Bioshock" itself has the name Ryan Industries written all over it. But this is Before Ryan made Rapture, long before the plasmid era.
Sure you could chalk up Ryan to have been in Columbia an saw its flaws so maybe he built rapture as the alternative but until I can get my hands on a detailed Script for the story line this just feels like they are ripping off their own title in order to stretch it out...
Don't get me wrong I will STILL buy it but to me Bioshock needs to stop going backwards an try and push to the future like the first two games wanted to do.

Really, I believe this game will be better than bioshock 2. Though like I said, can it be called bioshock, I think it will be the best so far. Columbia is alien to us; we know nothing of its dark secrets. Unlike in Bioshock 2, where we had been to rapture before, Columbia is brand new. Though the environment may be less menacing than rapture, I think it will still create a better experience.

I'm kind of on the fence about Infinite. The game play looks amazing and i can't wait to use Murder of Crows, but i am sad there is no Big Daddies, Big Sisters, little sisters, etc. I am excited to see this HIM The thing that guards Elizabeth. I will miss Rapture, but i guess i have to look to the sky to Columbia now. At least i can still set people on fire, that's a good thing.

Wumbo-Walrus If the city is before Rapture, that means it is before the discovery of ADAM. So........No plasmids? =| Well this took away playing as a big sister or big daddy for sure also. Are they even called big daddies? =( Is this even a bioshock game? No little sisters, no Adam, no splicers, no plasmids. I'm not going to make any big remarks about the game until we play it, but can it be called bioshock? actually lol, you do get plasmids.. there is a trailer, that last about 15 minutes on youtube about infinite. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kEBwKO4RFOU
