Without missing a beat, he runs up to it and gives it a good look over. He doesn't notice any loose pieces so... He just digs his sharp horns into the tree and with two shakes of his head tears off two decent sized pieces, one staying attached to his horn and the other on the ground. He picks the one up off the ground and eats swiftly before bringing the other piece to Azul, still attached to his horn.
"Doesn't taste too awful bad, actually. Kinda tough though. Fibrous, that's for sure. I'm pretty sure there's gonna be a side effect once it's digested." he says as if his words never offend anyone with that kind of talk. Regardless, he puts the piece of bark attached to his horn closer to Azul's face, urging her to eat it up.

Azul watched him do his magic and get her some bark; though she had expected the piece that had fallen to be for her; and was a little surprised when he had eaten it instead. She quickly understood though that the one on his horn had been intended for her. Nodding her head at his statements she reached out gingerly bringing her head closer to his and took the bark in her mouth; pulling it gently off of his horn though at the end she'd had to yank it off. And chewed it slowly. He was right; it was very fibrous. She swallowed it though it seemed to her to be a bit dry and then she nuzzled him in appreciation. Waiting a few minutes for it to set in.. Or maybe she was just supposed to walk to let it sit in? She decided on walking since it had already been established that there was no point in just sitting around in a place not near water.
"Alright~" She finally said after a few moments of silence and leaning against Chesh. "I'm ready to go." She announced; pushing off of him and starting off in a direction that she had never been before. In hopes that she would see him; her one true love; along this path.
