"Boxy's so cute~" She enjoyed his delighted purring and offered up more rubs and scratches in return. "You sure do have a lot of horror movies." She pointed to her collection, "I guess you really weren't going to let go of that one, huh?" She smiled, "You should let me borrow some of your movies later."
She waited eagerly for Tre to set down the snacks and soda, helping herself to a hand full of chips. "Let's get this party started!"

"He's a little cuddle freak is what he is." She laughed. "You're his new best friend." She made sure that there were the theater lights on, but the rest of the living room was dark as the movie turned on. "I'm... sort of a big fan of horror films... and as this is one I've been looking for for a couple years... yeah. I wasn't going to let go of it." She settled down on the couch beside page and started skipping the previews.

"Then he'll be my best friend too!" Paige kicked off her shoes and crossed her legs under herself on the couch. Theater lights? This was a nice apartment! Better than her hole in the wall house after all. She absentmindedly patted the the white ball of fluff and slowly ate the snacks provided. As the movie began, she tensed. Ahhh, horror flicks; fun, yet terrifying.

What a master of suspense. As with all the deliciously terrifying films, Tre was on the edge of the couch, watching. She every so often would nibble something. Popcorn or a nacho or something.
The hero was reaching slowly for a stake. The movie had dimmed, the music slowed to a tense, suspenseful lull...
FANGS AND HANDS SEEMED TO COME OUT OF NOWHERE AND ATTACKED!

Paige had been staring at the screen intently, thoughtfully gnawing on a chip or two. The movie was so good, they just don't make films like this anymore. The atmosphere in the mover tensed and so did the atmosphere in the room, and Paige for that matter. Somethings gonna happen! Somethings gonna-!
AHHH!!!!
Paige closed her eyes and lurched to the side, jostling poor Boxer loose from her lap. When she opened her eyes, she had her arms rapped around Tre in a frighted hug. She clinged to her for dear life!

"EEEEYAAAAAA!" The girliest shriek escaped Trecia as she lurched into Paige and clung to her as well. Boxy was startled and flew off to the side and ran down the hall.
Tre's hand was on something warm and squishy, but she didn't really notice- or care- that she was groping her new young friend. Her eyes were still on the screen as she clutched Paige, watching the hero struggle against the evil.

Paige took no notice to Tre's chest groping, her eyes were glued to the TV. Would evil finally do away with good? Not likely, but they always seemed to keep you in suspense!
As she finally loosened her grip on Tre, she realized something. Hey why is that hand.... She pulled away immediately, face turning a tomato red. Good thing the room was pretty dark. She grabbed a couch pillow and held it to her chest pulling her knees up along with it. "Some movie, huh?"

When Paige began to pull away, Tre let go and curled her knees up to her chest as well, watching the movie. She gave a vague "uh-huh." to Paige, not... really hearing what it was she had said, but knew she said something.
When the movie ended, and the hero had won- at the expense of his own life, Tre slowly uncurled herself from the couch. "Man... oh man. That... was SO FRIGGEN COOL!"

Paige stood up and took a pose from the move, "I loved it!" she gave a classic fist pump to the air. By now she was hyped up on sugar. She glanced at her watch out of habit. "Holy smokes! It's 11:23?" She was not walking back home at this time of night. Who knew what people were lurking around in the shadows.
"Hey, Trecia..." She twiddled her thumbs behind her back. "I know you just met me and all, but could I stay the night?" She smiled down at her warmly.

Tre looked at the entertainment center. The glowing clock changed another minute. "Huh. It is kinda late. Well... It is Saturday tomorrow. Yeah, I don't see a problem with that. You better call your parents though, let them know." She thought about it. "And we can watch another movie." She gestured to the wall of movies. "If you want to watch more that is."

Paige nodded and pulled out her phone to send a quick text to her mom. [I wont b home 2night. Stayin @ a friend's] Man how text talk hurt to type. Her parents would be glad to be rid of her anyway. Once that was all said and done, Paige made quick work of the movie selection.
"Wow! You have soooo many!" She read each title carefully, but soon found that to be pointless. "Do you have any suggestions?" She turned back to Tre putting the phone back in her pants pocket.

Tre laughed at that. "Well, any of the horror movies are good. You could just grab one. Or I've got a couple comedies, and some of the really old classics like Dances with Wolves, and Casablanca. Got some anime too. But... I donno. I guess one of my favorites is The Mummy of Luxor. Do you like foreign films though? It's subtitled." She said walking to a small closet down the main hall and opened it up. "I know I've got sheets around here somewhere..."

Well that settled that. The Mummy of Luxor it would be! She scanned the movies with a keen eye until she had found it. "Got it~" She bounced back to the couch movie in hand. Ah, this was so cool. She hadn't been able to hand out with anyone in a while. Something this spontaneous was just the thing she needed. She eyed Tre in the small closet, "Need any help?"

"Huh? Oh, no not really." She said, closing the door. "The couch is a couch bed. Want to make it up and we can watch the movie on the bed?" She asked. She was about to say she probably had some clothes that might fit her... but Paige was a bit better built then she was. What was baggy on her might be form fitting on Paige. Oh well, might as well be a good hostess. "You want something to sleep in?"

"Sure." She nodded, getting up to help her with the bed. This was a good idea because now, if she fell asleep during the move, she'd already be in bed! She plastered a satisfied grin on her face acknowledging Tre's Question a few seconds later. "Oh, uh..." She looked at her clothes. Maybe a dusty t-shirt and jeans weren't the best things to sleep in. "Ok, I'll take some clothes if you don't mind."
