Nodding at her answer, Terrance reached over to the passenger seat and unhooked her collar, noticing the unique and exquisite tattoo around her neck that went down her chest. Taking the truck out of park he circled around and drove by the shop again, rolling down the passenger window and extending his right arm, gentally nudging her back with his fore arm as he threw the collar back at the shelter.
"Does that sound like a deal for you?" A slight chuckle went though his voice as he said those words.
"So tell me about youself. How old are you, what do you like and what do you hate? Just anything."

Mona glanced out the window to see her collar tossed. This guy was unbelievable! Di he really just do that? Free her of that insufferable collar and place? Accept her own terms? The Sylph paled, thinking she a) finally lost it or b) was in fact asleep and a guard was going to kick her awake any moment now.

"Did you... really, honestly, and seriously do that?" Astonishment couldn't even describe the look on her face. A deal it was, but it was kind of too good to be true. Why didn't he throw her in the back? Keep the leash at least? Glance over her like every other male, say she wasn't able to have a surname because it meant freedom, something?

Closing her mouth for a second, she began to answer his questions. "I'm nineteen, in human years at least... As a Sylph, I obviously adore wind. Watermelon's pretty good too, and fashion's pretty interesting... I guess for dislikes, spicy things, water, leashes piss me off too, but they're mandatory for my position." Shrugging at the last bit, Mona really began to take the guy in. Did he not know what a slave was? Or was he just trying to butter her up?

Again, he nodded, but as she set her wings down after raising a few feet, he went to remove the collar. If she was going to wear a collar, it was going to have to have some dignity to it, and that one would only be worn if she was going to be sent back. Though another collar came whizzing by where he once stood, making him glare after the truck. It was a good thing he moved.

"We can discuss your pay and jobs in the car. You will also tell me more about yourself so you can feel more comfortable. There will be rules to follow of course and strict consequences should you break them intentionally. And stop thanking me, it's excessive and unnecessary." Sighing to the girl, he wondered if she was always this quiet. Sure, he liked the peace of mind, but if she was going to work for him, she couldn't be invisible all the time.

Terrance started to laugh, the hardest he had in a while, at her tone and expression, that and he almost hit a guy who looked vaguely familar. "Sorry!" he yelled out the window at the guy.
"Did I really, honestly, and seriously almost hit a guy with that collar? Yep. I thought it was pretty funny, didn't you? I sincerely didn't mean to almost hit him, I think I would have too if he hadn't of moved. Oh well. So what were you saying?" He'd been laughing so loud that he had a hard time hearing her, but he still heard her. "Wind is good, its wholesome and clean. Free. Watermelon is actually a stimulant," he gave her a curious side glance when she said she liked watermelon. "And don't hate me, but I'm terrible at fashion and like spicy things. But don't worry, I'll cook according to your tastes. As for the water, that makes sense. There are five elements. Earth, Wind, Water, Fire, and Spirit. Spirit co-exists with the four other elements. Wind and Earth co-exist, Wind and Fire are mutual, Wind and water cannot co-exist. Water and Fire are mutual, and the pattern goes on. Leash's are no longer mandatory for your position seeing as you're with me now. As for me, I'm twenty-two, I have a sister and a brother... thats why the guard knew me from earlier. My brother and I were getting a companion for my little sister. Erik just took off with my last company so this is why I'm with you now. I love to read, cook, but I hate cleaning." again, he looked over at her and said sorry, indicating thats what she'd be helping with. "And I love swimming, my element is Air, or Wind, and I'm curious as to how long a Sylph can live for and how old you really are."

She was astonished to say the least. This guy, was either total bookworm, or something... She couldn't really say what else he could be aside from eccentric in some areas.

"You just have to see cleaning as some sort of game! And I doubt I'll leave you, since you did pay for me to get out. Not to mention, you are the Master!" Sarcasm dripped from "Master" as she didn't see the point in the whole respect thing yet.

Hopefully, she wasn't expected to go swimming, because she'd make him go first all the way down to the fishes! There was no way she would be going anywhere near a large body of water unless dragged. The age inquiry made a scrunch in her face, as it had been too long since she could remember what it truly was. But hey, human years were fine, it made her seem younger!

"As for cooking, I know great curry recipe that won't be spicy for me, but enough for your tastes, so you can leave it to me! But, I'm going shopping with you next time you go out, you're only wearing nueutrals, and need a pop of colour somewhere."

A grimace emerged on her face when a collar came flying by her master from a dark green truck. That was Romona's master... did she just throw her collar out of the window?! Her thoughts went a little wild with what would have happened to her if she ever did such a thing with her past masters.
Nells head snapped towards the direction of her master when he said a word very unfamiliar to her. She knew what it meant, but she'd never heard it addressed to her in the way he did. "Pay?" Was he joking? The money would just go back to him anyway. Zane stopped her thoughts when she heard the words 'strict consequences'. Boy, oh boy! Those sound like fun. Now where have I heard those two words before? Sarcasm was in her thoughts as was a grim spread in the voice in her thoughts. Lets see, he said pay, jobs, rules, consequences, and to stop thanking him all in the same breath. He broke three master rules there, and then added three of them back. Who is this guy?
"You want to know about me?" She asked him with curiosity in her eyes. That was weird. Majorly. Why did he care if she was comfortable or not?

Okay, I'll drop the age subject." he said with a chuckle when he noticed the wrinkle of her nose. "I've tried everything to get into cleaning. It just doesn't work. And since you like cleaning so much we'll shift back and forth on who cooks and who doesn dishes." Terrance pulled into the driveway of his home and opened the door, walking around to the other side and opening the passenger door for Romona. "Welcome hom, and by the way, just call

"The last thing I want is you rebelling. I am quite wealthy and have parties thrown often. You will be attending them and I don't want you to be looking like a rag doll or something close to a zombie. Therefore, you will speak up to what you want for comfort and I will pay for that. Clothes, accessories, hair cuts, and whatever else you may want to do will be payed for with your earnings. Every Wednesday you will be off, so don't bother coming to the main manor, I won't be there. But, should you try to run off, I will send out every available police force to take you back."

His smile remained with a light tone as he explained himself before removing her own collar and pocketing it. Calling for his rich, sleek car that obviously showed he was not bashful about his money, he glanced down at her. Of course he wanted to know about her, why was that so weird? She would be living and serving under him, not to mention he had to pay her, so he might as well find out what she's like so that his house didn't become a wreck. The collar could, only tell so much.

"Of course I want to know about you. Is it odd?" Raising an eyebrow to her curious gaze, he opened the door, and waited for her to enter.

The "M" word? This guy was like a kid! Except a lot smarter and more polite... What weirdo! And wait, did he just say he'd help with the chores? Did he know what a slave was? Honestly, did he? A slave was supposed to do the work, while he relaxed and did nothing! Maybe he was dropped on his head as a child... Yeah, that's it! His brother must have picked on him since the sister was off limits, and he fell on his head! That explained his behaviour perfectly!

"You're going to... help with the chores? Can you do me a favour and recite the definition of slave, and recall the name of the place you got me from? Just to make it so we're on the same page." Frowning at him, she doubted he was for real. Maybe she was the one who was dropped on her head?

Hazel-pink eyes glanced around Terrance's home, as her pale arms folded behind her head, blonde strands pressed against her neck. And it wasn't like she adored it, she just knew how to have fun while doing so. For example, borrowing the Master's radio and jamming to some songs, or making it seem like a race or game if it involved dusting or picking things up. Though, laundry was an off limits thing for this guy. It was her favourite thing to do since she was generally almost always alone, and when she could throw them outside to dry in the wind, her elemental senses kicked in.

"I have Wednesdays off?" Her voice was low and drifted off as she wondered about that. Why would she want to run if he was offering her so much? He had a house and a manor? Geez, how rich is this guy? she thought as she looked up at him. He reached up to remove her collar and she lifted up her chin, revealing her neck, for him to have a better reach at it. She did have a deep gash that she forgot was visible when she lifted her neck just under her hairline in the slight back of the neck.
He opened to door for her and, again, she stood there, amazed once more. "It is. Odd, I mean." She stepped into the car seat and sat down, waiting for him to circle around and sit down before she continued.

Shutting the door and circling around to his own side, he took the keys from the man who brought the car to them, before entering. "Yes, you have every Wednesday off until my schedule changes. There are other maids around that will take you shopping, and if you need a seamstress specifically for your wings, than I will give you the number to call and you can handle it from there."

How was it odd to want his appearances to keep the same? It wasn't like it was from the kindness of his heart. If he had a half dead looking angel under his care who was expected to attend parties, surely he would tarnish what he worked so hard for.

"During August, spring break, and two weeks in the winter we will leave for a cottage. It will be just like working at the manor. So don't think you're getting special treatment. Depending on your performance and obedience your pay may rise or drop, and you may even get another day off here and there. Now start telling me about yourself."

Terr laughed again as he showed her around his house. "I'm perfectly in my right mind, don't worry. Unless you cross me, things will not change. And actually, the only way you can cross me is to sell something of mine or going off with my brother. Those are the only two don't's. Anyway, my house is a lot like my sisters. My brother... well he lives with about six others in a mansion. But mine is just a simple two story. I have a rec room upstairs, downstairs is the family room, the living room is this here and just through that hall is the kitchen. To the right of that is the theatre area. The theatre area is closed off by doors, and other then that theres a door to the basement and then doors for the bedrooms and bathrooms, that's about the only areas that are able to close. My house is pretty open. Theres a pool out back and I have three stone balconys, since you like wind I'll give you the first room at the top of the stairs. Now. Lets get you a shower and some food. Since you like fashion I bet this dirt is just killing you," he said, whiping at the little dust on her jaw bone.

"Are you saying I don't look the least bit cute like this?" Teasing him, she winked and glanced around what he called a simple home. He had a theater area! Which meant she might be able to play video games! Or maybe even just chillax and not do anything when she didn't feel like it! Though, most things came with a catch...

Well, whatever. Romona would take advantage of it no matter what! "Hey, Terrance, do I get a bed? Or am I sleeping on a couch or floor? 'Cause I like to stretch out, so if I'm sleeping on a floor, watch where you step in the morning." Joking about the order, the blonde was actually curious to how far her rights went with this guy.

He ordered her to start telling him about herself, so what she wanted to comment on things he'd said before she would just add in there.
"Well, I'm only nineteen. I've been without a master for four years and even then all the masters I have been with were abusive and cruel. I had no options to do anything, always had to stand a specific way, basically just at their beck and call. This is why you're such a surprise to me. I've never been paid before, and I've never had a day off. Parties were something I was locked up for and put on show because of my dark wings, and then they'd pluck my feathers out for their guests souvenirs, at least for anyone who wanted to pay a high price. I must be honest with you though, I am a little curious... I've gone behind my masters back a few times and taught myself how to read, write, and to go playing with children. The dessert is where I've been dragged about most of my life, and I've never known my parents. For clothing, I've only ever been in open backed rags or meager dresses. This," she said referring to the dress she was currently in. "is what the sellers just put me in to maybe get someone to buy me. That that's about all I know..." she said honestly, turning to him. "May I know about you?" she asked, doubtful he'd tell her, but since he'd surprised her so far, whats just one more?
