Nyota's reaction was not disappointing at all - he'd always known she was not a Lioness to shirk on the fun though he was sure her mother would be less then pleased to see her gallivanting about in the pond water like that.
This thought was not long on his mind however as Tamu leapt into the water after her. Despite Nyota's intention to only stay for a short time the two friends had so much fun swimming and catching up with one another that the drifted off to sleep together before the sun set completely. Just a short nap they had said...but it was not to be and night soon fell.
