As she started to talk about a riot Vali's silver lips curved into a half smirk, "You had every right to make him pay for insulting you." He said and followed through with the blocks and shifted his position as she asked him too. He had not thought that fighting would be some complicated.
He glanced down at his arm as she commented on it, "I am sure there are things that will slice through my flesh. Or break a blade." He watched her as she demonstrated the proper blocking manners and he followed along. Now that his tail seemed to be on board with this training his balance seemed to improve. He lowered his arms for a moment and looked again at his arms, "I know that you are skilled with fighting but should I cap my blades before we try the mock fight. Just incase I block wrong and the blade hits you?" He really did not feel like killing or doing serious damage to his teach on the first day.
