The nobleman fell to one knee, Tobi still pulling on his jacket. "Away!" He tried to shoo the dog away again but Tobi wouldn't let go right off. He kept pulling on the jacket until the material began to tear. As soon as Blade approached Tobi released his hold and resumed playful puppy mode, barking and wagging his tail.

The nobleman was less than pleased with the dog but looked up to Blade as he offered his hand. Taking it he gave a nod. "I think I'm okay." Once he was to his feet he assessed the damage done. His jacket appeared to be ruined, the entire bottom ripped all the way to the pocket. "Stupid dog. Away with you!" He snapped, kicking at the dog. Luckily Tobi was quick and merely dodged to the side, still looking playful like the man had just engaged in a game.

Without warning Tobi leapt forward and pounced the man, this time his tiny size did not matter. His actions caused the man to teeter on his feet before falling back flat. With a happy bark Tobi began to lick at the man's face the nobleman unable to really yell for fear of having a dog tongue thrust into his mouth.

Blade did what he could to keep on a worried and somewhat horrified look instead of snickering at the sight of Tobi 'playing' with the gentleman. As he helped up the guy the first time, he attempted to pull away one of the rings with a sleight.

It seemed the man wouldn't stay on his feet for long as Tobi pounced on him.

"Ah! Leave the poor man alone!" he said while trying to shoo Tobi, hoping the dog would realize this was apart of the act. As he was crouched down, to try and nudge the dog off of the guy, he made another swipe for the man's wallet, hoping he wouldn't notice with all the commotion going on here.

"Go on, run along!"

Tobi seemed to hang around despite Blade's shooing. He continued to lick at the man's face for another few seconds before he finally jumped off and bounded away. Taking refuge under one of the tables of a shop next to the art store, Tobi watched Blade and the nobleman encase he was needed.

The nobleman was a mess by the time Tobi finally jumped away. Sitting up rather abruptly, he tried to regain his composure. "Thank you." He replied to Blade apparently thinking he had in fact shooed the dog away. "That dog was persistent. Bloody animal probably needs to be put down and made into a pelt."

Under the table came a distinctive whine but Tobi never ventured to show his face.

Quite frankly the gentleman looked rather ridiculous now that Tobi was done with him. Standing up straight now that the dog was seemingly gone, he tried to help up the man again. Secretly he made a note to not deny the dog too much when he wanted to play.

"Not a problem, good sir. Not sure what was up with that dog... At least it didn't seem to be rabid," he said while trying to help dust off the guy.

"It seems you are in need of a tailor right about now... I believe I saw one place down the street that seemed to have rather nice wares. I could have been mistaken though."

The nobleman looked down to assess the damage done to his jacket once again before turning down toward the end of the street as if the place the thief mentioned would pop up magically. "I don't know that I've heard of a good tailor in this town."

When the man looked away, Blade took this opportunity to more or less disappear back into the crowd. The longer he stuck by a victim, the greater the chance of them realizing something is amiss. While it didn't quite go super smoothly, that little pull was rather amusing.

As he walked along to another safe point, a child ran into him and started to bolt off. However, the thief managed to grab the kid by the shoulder to stop him before he could get away. As he suspected, the child was carrying one of the wallets he had snagged.

Being caught, the kid's eyes widened with fear and she tried to squirm away.

"Calm down," Blade said quietly. The girl was in rags and she looked rather malnourished.

"I-I'll give it back..." she squeaked meekly while holding up the wallet.

With a sigh, the thief shook his head and let go of the girl, offering a weak smile afterwards. "Keep it," he said before continuing on his way.

As soon as Blade was off Tobi was off to follow him like a little shadow. Keeping pace with the thief the bandit dog watched the little girl approach and get stopped. She had apparently tried to steal stuff they had already stolen, but Blade didn't seem bothered by the fact she had taken anything. Tobi could remember the gypsies that he had lived with would often take in small children like this. They were the best for playing games.

Giving a bit of a whine, Tobi began to chatter and yip like he was trying to speak. He stepped up a bit closer to the thief and pawed at his feet looking back to the little girl.

Normally Blade would have been rather annoyed with a theft attempt, but seeing the state of the girl told him that she could have used the money more, especially since getting more was not a problem for him. Pausing as he heard Tobi, he glanced down at the dog and crouched down to pet him.

"There you are. That was some nice moves you pulled on that guy," he said with a light grin before offering the shiba inu another chunk of jerky, "Don't worry about the girl... she could probably use that money more. Besides, it's easy for us to get more, right Tobi?"

"So you ready to get back in the action or are you done for the day?" he asked while scratching him behind the ears once more.

Tobi gave a bark as if to answer Blade's first question. So it seemed this was Blade's way of helping others. Tobi was okay with that. Grateful he took the piece of jerky, downing it quickly.

With another excited yip Tobi circled about with excitement at Blade's second question, only pausing shortly for the ear scratching. To him this apparently seemed like a fun game. Standing up on his hind feet Tobi almost seemed to dance in place as he waited for Blade to move and show him what he wanted done next. The thief didn't seem to know all the commands Tobi had been taught to follow, but Tobi seemed to understand what the situation called for. Experience if you will.

Chuckling softly at Tobi's little dance, he gave the dog another pat on the head before looking around to see what they should hit next. Maybe this time they should try raiding one of the market stalls rather than a customer around here. Considering this, he looked at the various stalls around, spotting one that sold various bits of jewelry. Nothing too fancy, but they had some value to them.

"Alright... see that market stand with all the shinies? Lets try and get some goodies from there. Why don't you go ahead and do that little dance for the owner?" he suggested to the dog, as if wanting to know what he thought of the plan.

Tobi balanced on his back feet to look toward where Blade was pointing. Indeed, there were a lot of shiny things there! Barking his confirmation to dance, Tobi wandered over toward the stall and yipped to get the lady's attention.

The woman at the stall seemed focused on the crowd. She pushed her glasses up on her face waiting for anyone to approach. Someone did approach, however, it wasn't a customer. Turning toward the little dog as he yipped her eyes seemed to light up. "Well, hello there."

Tobi barked again, this time standing on his hind legs his front paws held neatly in front of him. He seemed to bounce in place for a moment before he pushed off with his back feet and did a back flip landing on all fours once again.

"Oh my!" The lady seemed content to watch the little dog as he performed for her. "Aren't you just the cutest thing!"

Again Tobi stood up on his back feet and began to dance in circles. Normally he would do this to music, he had done this before in the markets and people would toss coins at him and his owner.

It seemed to work like a charm. Grinning, Blade went on to pass up the stall, pausing a moment to act as if he was browsing with mild interest. He looked over towards Tobi, chuckling again, before walking off. In the short interval that he was at the stand, he had attempted to lift several pieces with the ever so useful sleight of hand.

Making his way away from there, he casually cast a glance back to double check if his attempt was successful or not.

The lady at the stall was none the wiser as Blade made off with some of her more valuable pieces. She was far to focused on what Tobi was doing to even notice that someone had approached.

"You are too cute," The lady cooed as Tobi finally rested, sitting on his rear. "I bet you want a treat!"

Tobi barked to confirm and the lady went about rummaging in her things beside the stall. It took her a moment and in the mean time Tobi just trotted off, following behind Blade. When the lady finally turned back, some bread in her hand, she was at a loss for where the dog had gone.

Happy as a lark, Tobi came to rest beside Blade, an oddly smug look on his little doggy face. He scratched at the bandanna around his neck for a moment before looking back at Blade, eager to know what they would do next.

Taking a moment to examine one particular necklace, Blade grinned as Tobi returned. As his reward, he gave the dog another piece of meat for a job well done.

"I swear, you are the best dog a thief could ask for," he said with a chuckle. Pocketing the necklace again, he looked around some more. Across the market, he spotted a guard on patrol, and that gave him a rather devious idea. Stealing straight from the guards themselves was always a risky challenge. It wasn't something he was always willing to do, but he was feeling up to it today.

"Alright, here's a tough one. We're going to get that guard that's patrolling around. Now, we're going to have to be extra careful. But if we get caught it shouldn't be hard to get away. Basically... try to get his attention. Act like there's some trouble you're trying to tell him about and possibly lead him to.... like a kid fell down a well or something."

This was a more complex command than his previous ones, so he had no idea if it would get through to Tobi at all.

This time Tobi didn't seem to follow what Blade meant. One ear was up while the other fell back almost giving his face a questioning look. He looked to the guards, back at Blade, back to the guards, and then back to Blade. A few more moments passed while he did this until he finally lifted a paw and whimpered. It was almost like he was asking if he was supposed to do the hurt dog routine. And what was this about a kid? Maybe he meant the little girl from before? Tobi wasn't sure where she had gone but he supposed he could find her.
