Jin took a deep breath. He observed the damage that had been dealt to his foe. It was time for Fuyu to give up. With only two moves it had been decided who was the winner. He was hit with a sicking amount of explosives and even been stabbed once with the spear. It was time for Fuyu to give it up. However when Fuyu pulled out a strange cloak and disappeared behind it, Jin was left with his mouth agape. Tightening his grip around his spear, Jin quickly looked around for Fuyu. A pulse of electricity going out through the arena but still there was nothing. Either Fuyu had a really good trick up his sleeve or he had escaped. He wasn't expecting this to be the out-come of pushing Fuyu further into his shinobi path. He sighed and then looked and realized that Fuyu had vanished. with a deep breath, Fujin turned the wind into an Icy plain and did the same.

Jin's head continued to turn this way and that. His eyes swept the arena in a slow motion from behind his mask. His body was readied and tensed. His grip on the spear firm as ever, ready to slash at his target. But no matter what he did, Jin couldn't find Fuyu. However what he could find was that strange creature. Whatever it was, it earlier had made a move to go towards Fuyu. And that either meant it was their to hinder the other shinobi or assist. Either way, that was not what he wanted. Last thing he needed was to loose points or be screwed over in the battle. While he had the creature there, Jin would do his best to get rid of it. Gripping his spear firmly, Jin dashed to move in front of Fujin. Electricity surging from the weapon, Jin spun it quickly and glared at Fujin from behind his mask. (Since you took damage. I'm assuming Fujin's body is solid at the moment. You never RP'd turning back into wind. Especially since that would mean you froze yourself. Also since I succeeded my check. Jin is currently blocking Fujin from his mirror. Safe to assume, that if he's solid that the scythes are too. Right?) Jin's eyes flickered from Fujin's faces to the Scythes that it carried. From his experience, even the strongest of foes were easily weakened once they're accessories or weapons were removed from them. And were even more worse off the moment those weapons were used on them instead. Sending a pulse of electricity once again through the arena, Jin kept his eyes on his target. He didn't know what it was but enough polarized electricity through it's system would prevent it from being able to do much. From what he could tell, it was an extremely tough creature. It had taken the explosion head on without a flinch or care, though it seemed a bit more sluggish now. Keeping his grip tight on his Spear, Jin charged the creature. Leaping through the air, the electricity surged from him and the weapon. The plan was to land on the ring on it's body. With his spear he would stab into it's chest before removing one of the scythes with the spear. The other scythe, Jin planned to wrench away while the creature worried about the wound or the other scythe. He was growing slightly annoyed from the same thing again. It seemed that this boy had his number and soon realized it as he was then charged by the spear weilding shinobi. He readied himself and got ready for a fight while woundering what Fuyu was up to himself. He watched as he was charged and then used his scythes to try and deture the combatant. It failed as Jin jumped over them and landed on his solidified ring around his body. He watched as Jin jabbed at him with the bladed end of the spear. He simpliy let the target area become wind. Wait a moment... an attack wasn't the true motive? Fujin watched as Jin suddenly went for his scythes. It had been a while since he was in a true fight as he had also made his arms into wind and watched as not only he was disarmed, but it was very skillful too. Fujin then moved back and away from Jin and started to gather his thoughts on what he should do next.

He looked behind him to the flame and then started to force wind from his body like what Fuyu had learnt. In all honest, this was a simple Jutsu for wind users in which to defend themselves but he didn't know how well it'd hold up since it was so simple. In this case, it'd worked as the flames took over his entire form but yet the wind he was producing made sure that nothing happened to his physical form. He looked around and thought for a moment. Fuyu!! More Tags, Be careful He thought directly to Fuyu, where ever he was.

He moved around, trying to figue out what would be the best plan of attack. He'd thought about this much and figured that it was time just to go in an give it one last shot. If what he was planning to do worked, it could turn the whole tide of the battle, but then a voice snuck into his mind. More tags? Traps? Crap... At the same time that a tag caught fire by Fujin, one had done the exact same thing by Fuyu. He took a deep breath in knowing he wouldn't out-run it, he used the same Jutsu he'd used before but this time he'd had warning and hopefully it'd work out better too. This blast however seemed stronger then the one Fujin got and the wind that he was excreating failed yet again, leaving his body with more burns yet the cloak seemed not to be hindered by the flames that just hit it as it kept up the disguise and let Fuyu continue to sneak around. The explosion encased the strange creature as Jin's body angled in the air. Landing gently on his feet, Jin held one of the scythes in his left hand and his spear in the right. Smiling, he returned his spear to it's sling and crouched down to pick up the second one. For a moment he admired their design. The loop that formed on the back of the blade, the long stem for it's pole and the interesting way the blade curved and angled. Jin nodded. He was going to have fun with these. Gripping one by the loop and the other by the handle that placed itself several inches beneath the blade itself. He thought about taking that from him, but nothing was going right for him, he'd triggered too many of those damned tags to beable to take any more without putting himself into serious jeperdy. His mind raced as he stayed hidden and looked between living or risking it. The thought was very laboured like his movements and breath seemed to be. He could push forward and not be hindered, but his face would show the true extent of what was happening. Flashes of shadowy figured of what his father could look like, speak like, act like.... he was risking so much ether way he thought about it. He tightly gritted his teeth and looked at the ground. He had been standing still for a while and not realized that his had was covered in his own blood just by visual. He could feel it though, but what was more was that he could feel the stinging cold air in his wound. He took a deep breath and looked around as he slowly lowered his cloak until he was visible to everyone. He didn't look up, his left hand was clenching his wound to try and stop the bleeding but there was now a small pool of the crimson life on the ground, but the bleeding had almost stopped completely. As he stayed there, on one knee and clenched chest he finally started to speak. " I..... I can't...." He paused as he knew that the words he was about to speak would be just as painful as what ever wound he'd get if he continued. " I can't continue to fight..... As much as it pains me to mutter these words let alone thing them....... I must forfit this match.... I don't even deserve to be here. I... I failed both tests before hand. A different shinobi should have been in my spot but yet here I am... broken... defeated... I said I'd......" His voice trailed as he remember just a moment ago he had wispered to himself that he'd die trying to figure out anything and everything about his father. He took a slow, deep breath in and looked up, not at anyone but past everyone into nothing really. " I don't deserve to be here...." He restated to himself. He then looked at Jin, and the rest of the crowd. " I... Fuyu Masato, Forfit this match...." He then looked directly at Jin and slowly stood up. " You were the better shinobi today Jin.... you deserve to advance. I've just got one thing to ask of you before I take my leave... If you choose to, will you kindly hand back the scythes to the creature that was fighting with me.... It's up to you if you choose to do so, but if you wish to be honorable.... you'd hand them back. Congradulations Jin.... If we meet again, I promise to put up more of a fight then I did today, you can count on that...." With that, Fuyu painfully bowed towards Jin, then started to slowly walk away to the first exit he could find. As he walked, tears appeared coming from under his cloth covered eyes. Letting his only chance of knowing any new information about his father go was painful to him, but he'd eventually learn what he wished so for now, he walked out of the fight by himself instead of some stretcher. If any med nin wished to help him with his wounds, he'd decline and reject any medical treatment. He'd use this defeat as a modivational resorce and had to feel it, until it naturally healed itself. A proctor strode towards Jin as medic nin quickly rushed to aid Fuyu. Normally the proctor would've grasped the boy's wrist and hold it up in victory but as he held those large scythes, he thought better of it and simply raised his own hand while using the other to pat Jin's back. "The winner is Jin Taega! The next fight will be Sora Aburame vs Kidomaru Hatsuma! However this will take place after a short intermission as we prepare the arena and see to the current participants." Preforming a quick set of hand seals, the arena was over-coated by a black veil that prevented the audience to see what was currently happening in the arena. Quickly, the proctor would lead Jin out of the arena as other shinobi would enter and preform special techniques, causing a thick forest to form in the arena, the canopy just barely touching the veil as other shinobi strung up a new type of trap while safely removing the explosive tags.
