He walked with her and nodded a bit, "I thought so," he responded as he walked with her. Quint was calmer and was able to more easily deal with the fact that she was so close. As they made their way from the pier to the main walkway he seemed thoughtful at her question before he responded, "Sirloin, yours?"

For now he was biding his time before he asked her what was weighing so heavily upon her mind before he apparently interrupted her train of thought with his presence.

"I like Top Sirloin or Tenderloin- Filet Mignon," she giggled. "But I can easily tear into tougher cuts of steak. I don't like a lot of fat."

"How do you like it cooked?" Tori wondered if he had chosen the steak house because it could be served 'bloody'. If that was the case she then wondered if she did it for his preference or if it did it in consideration of possible tastes she might have had.

Quint nodded a bit as he listened, "can't have weak jaws if you're going to be a hunter."

The youth pondered the question as he wandered with her and simply said, "Rare as I can get it. It's one of the few things Kay and I can agree on, I guess." Once on the sidewalk he began to walk her in the direction of the steakhouse. "Figured you'd appreciate it too, I guess," he murmured with a shrug. It wasn't like he was a completely self-centered b*****d...Just a b*****d.

"You're right on that. One of the best defenses I've got," she laughed. "I bet you've got a pretty good set of jaws as well," she grinned.

"I appreciate that you thought of me," she smiled.

"Bring it mooing," she teased. It was true though, the rarer the better. "Well at least you and your brother can agree on something. About the only thing my sisters and me can agree on is not eating sweets. Other than that our eating habits are like night and day."

Quint shifted his shoulders as he reached up and scratched at his jaw, "I haven't tested the limits of it but I can make someone bleed easily enough cause of my teeth," he said simply. He wasn't one to brag at least not about himself.

He uttered a small chuckle, "Well what's the use of goin' out to eat if you have to sit and stare at me eating. It seems real damn weird and uncomfortable, at least for me."

The youth smirked at her words and nodded a bit, "We agree on a couple of things just not too often. I like smackin' the b*****d around too much to be too agreeable," he said simply with a bit of amusement in his tone.

"Oh I'm sure I could of thought of something to eat once dinner was over," Tori joked and gave his arm a good squeeze.

"I help in the home schooling of my sisters and occasionally I take them places... Past that we sorta tend to avoid each other. Then again we are a bunch of girls and we are all going in different directions."

Tori blushed as she laughed at the thought of Quint getting the better of Kay. "Just don't smack Kay around too much... want to be able to recognize him when I see him again," she grinned.

"I suppose so," Quint offered quietly and shrugged his shoulder. Unlike the first time they met he wasn't particularly bothered by her presence but he supposed that it was a part of growing up - you got over things. He listened quietly to Victoria as she talked.

He tilted his head a bit, "I see..I only have one other brother and we do s**t together sometimes. Mostly we hang out and watch movies. Nothing major. Kay tends to wander out a lot but sometimes he tries to drag me out to clubs," Quint said quietly. It was as best as he could describe his life with his siblings.

"You'll recognize him no matter how bad I beat his a**, he always wears that stupid grin," he pointed out. There were very few times that he had seen Kay not smile like an idiot on parade.

"My aunt lives above a club. I've been a couple of times as a kid..." she chuckled. "Now that I am a bigger the novelty has worn off," she winked.

"I kinda love that grin of his," Tori's blush turned a deeper red. "But, then again this is me and not you, his brother."

She pointed at the building that was nearly in front of them. "Is that it?" She asked in hopes of getting the attention off of her face.

"That so? Heh, apparently I am as boring as Kay claims I am. I never did s**t like that," he observed with a small shrug as he replied to her past antics. Things like drinking, doing drugs, or anything else within that area appealed to him. He was happy just running around to the beat of his own drum.

Quint grunted a little in response, "Don't tell him that he'll have trouble getting through the door with that overinflated ego of his," he said flatly and then dropped the subject entirely. The only thing he felt when he saw the girl blush was pity and for various reasons that he'd keep to himself thank you very much. It wasn't his place to police his brother's relationships.

He gazed over where she pointed before he nodded, "So it is," he observed after he got yanked out of his thoughts. He started to lead her toward it and even opened the door for her.

"You're far from boring..." Tori chuckled. "Don't let others define you."

"Don't we all have an ego that is easily inflated," she said as she let go of his arm and stepped inside. "But, if you insist I won't tell him how much I like his smile." She waited just inside so he could rejoin her.

"I don't," he said simply with a small shrug, "just saying what he thinks of me most of the time."

As much as he (secretly) loved his brother he didn't really care what Kay thought of him. For the most part other than occasionally getting dragged out and about the two did their own things.

"Mmm, I guess," he replied and once she got in he followed after her and got them seated by a hostess with a bit of quick mention that the seating would be for two individuals. He was kind enough to pull out a chair for Victoria simply because he saw other men do it so it was the right thing to do...Right?

"Thank you," Tori said as she brushed her hand over the back side of her dress before sitting down. A few of her loose curls swaying softly from the lean forward. She quickly crossed her legs at ankles only. Not that it could be noticed due to the length of her dress. "You really can be quite the gentleman," she winked. "You should put your charms to good use some time. I'm sure you'd find you a nice lady..." she chuckled.

Knowing what she wanted she didn't bother with the menu.

She sighed softly as she glanced out the window; the sun had nearly set. She folder her hands in her lap and tried not to look so space off now that they were sitting. It was much easier when the focus wasn't on her... not that it was entirely on her.

"Mhm," he muttered softly before he then moved to sit down he only blushed slightly after he was seated upon hearing Victoria's comment. He shrugged his shoulders, "There aren't many ladies that would want me," he said simply. He had odd teeth and for many women that might be a bit of a turn off and he wasn't interested in men at all so he was pretty much set in a solitary way. He was (secretly) looking but he had no real hope for himself in the romance department. His standards were too high besides. He kept them high on purpose.

He also didn't bother with a menu. When the waiter came by he made his order, "A glass of water and a rare sirloin steak, please, as rare as you can possibly get it. Whatever the lady wants, of course," he said quietly. He ignored the odd look from the waiter.

Quint just preferred it that way. It satiated a primal side of him and kept him in control, mostly. As long as the blood wasn't warm-out-of-the-veins and flowing he was able to keep himself from going into frenzy.

Tori brought herself back from where ever she'd gone in the past few minutes when she heard 'Whatever the lady wants, of course...'. She stretched out her hand and grabbed a hold of the waiters hand. After giving it a squeeze she pulled him down to where they were eye to eye. She whispered softly in his ear before running her fingers along his jaw line. "Now be a good boy and run along," she grinned wickedly as she released him from her hold.

The waiter of course doing just that. He nearly tripped over the next few chairs and bystanders in the process. Tori of course just chuckled. However twisted it may have been or have seemed she got a kick out of this.

Quint blinked at the display and then watched as the waiter left. He shifted his shoulders a bit and then leaned a bit on the table with his forearms, "Hey, Victoria? What was that all about?" it was a question that was prudent enough to ask. He wanted to know after all, because he didn't really get what all had just happened.

It was weird and...Well it wasn't unusual for Victoria but he hadn't seen anything that blatant before. He thought flirting and the like was subtle though that didn't strike him as flirting at all. It seemed something more.

Though what she did was harmless...Right?
