Hmm...so your skill is basically allow you to know their skills and s**t but not their thought and what they plan to do...is that kind of like a quick encyclopedia on them? Small question I want to ask is what do you mean by purpose? Like their goal and stuff?

Talent Description: It is the ability that can absolutely control someone.The one thing it cannot do,is make someone cause physical harm to themselves.It only works if the user,is doing it to someone of a lower rank.The Mind control only last for five or ten posts.Unless Cry activates it's long term ability where he basically creates a sleeper agent.Which means he can give them order to obey them,without their knowing.If activated,The user would have to face the side effects of,being blinded and at the mercy of tremendous headaches.For 15 or more posts.
Talent Weakness: It can only be used 1 once every 30 posts.It has a side effect as well.Once used,the user become quite drowsy and his vision blurs for 5 posts.If used twice before the time limit is up,the user's energy pool will automatically drop to zero.If used three times before the time limit is over,the user will die.
How did the character get this talent?:He stole the talent from his maker,who was the former king of vampires.He got the talent after he opened his master's coffin and smashed his skull in with a blunt object.Then his face,after that he ripped out a pocket knife sized piece of his spine,and stabbed his heart multiple times.Chunks of brain,teeth and bone.All over the floor.
Sample:
It was quiet,and dark.The only sound that could be heard was the sound of dripping water at the end of the hall.The only light that could be seen was the light peeping out of the cell.Soon footsteps could be heard,they got louder and louder as the went over towards the light.

Once the sound ceased a man glared into the cage.He was a fairly large man.Had a few scars on his face,he looked like some wanna be cleshay biker."Look at you.You look kinda hungry.Some King you are?"The guard said to the figure at the far end of the cage.Once the figure heard this,it arose from the darkness and into the light.It turned out to be a man he long,silver hair,and a black cloth covering his right eye.He appeared to be smiling.His eye's began to glow red,as he looked the guard dead in the eyes,and said."Come on in,and I'll show you what kind of king I am."

The guard had no choice,as he unlocked the door and walked right in.The man Only started to laugh.Once he was close enough the man grabbed him by the collar and bit into his neck.Draining him of all of his blood.Once their was none left,the dropped the pale corpse and sat back down.

(Short and stupid,but I don't care.It's the basic idea. >.>)

Well here's a few things.
First off, Mets right. Your not a sage. Not even close.
Secondly, 3 times and you die? Yea, like you'd actually do it.
Thirdly, Ripping out his heart? Lame. So lame. Come up with something better. You don't just get powers for ripping people hearts out.
Fourthly, this ability will fail harshly, since your an Adept. What are you going to do? Hypnotize trainees to have sex with you?
