《♠Taroro ℕezumi♠》 ___________________________________________________________________ __ _ _ _ _ _ _ They were everywhere, those flesh eating, brain hungry living corpse people called zombies. The boy wasn't amused by the deadly situation he was trapped in, not that he couldn't cope with it but it was tiring the boy out and he didn't want to get his bare hands dirty with anymore zombie filth then what it had already. At least he knew how to kick and punch the hell out of people to save himself. But he needed to obtain a weapon of some sort, if he was going to make it out of this alive. The crowd of mindless cannibals were multiplying at an alarming rate, which didn't give the young Rattata much time to think about a solution out of this problem. There had to be something he could use, it was a mall for goodness sake, they had everything!
Unfortunately for the boy, he was browsing a fair range of clothes before the outbreak and there was no possible weapon in mind, that he could use to his advantage. He frantically searched through the counters for anything, anything that might help him in this tight crisis. There was no way the boy was going to give in to those man eating corpse. All he had to do was survive until help arrived but to do that, he couldn't stay empty handed. Time was of the essence, the few zombies that he had so vigorously knocked down before were getting back up. Their moans rang through the empty store, making the boy's heart race. He knew that his blows couldn't keep them down for long but he hadn't expected it to be this fast.
He stayed quiet while still rummaging through the drawers. Taroro's finger tips felt something sharp, cutting his finger. Quickly, he pulled it out despite the growing pain in his finger, wrapping his hands tightly around the pocket knife he had just discovered. It was better than nothing, at least something to cut through with. Now he had to make a difficult decision. Should he stay in here or go out and find survivors at the risk of encountering more of these creatures? He decided to go with the second option. Being trapped in a corner would put him at a greater position of being gnawed to death and that wasn't an option.
Taroro glanced around at the awakening zombies, making sure that he still had time to run past them without being caught in their line of focus. They were slow, that the boy knew well while he was doing some self-defense. Without hesitating, the boy launched himself at the entry of the store, making sure he dodged the zombies that were slowly picking themselves up. He barely avoided one of their attacks, making him do a sidestep out of the place. Knowing that once he was out, he had to continue fleeing from any encounter he faced. His weapon wasn't good enough but it was the only thing he could get his hands on, for now. Where were people when you needed them? He sighed, making his way past zombie infested areas, careful not to get spotted by them. Gunshots were heard and the boy was certain that there were still people alive, somewhere. What he didn't get, was how they managed to get their hands on guns at a mall like this. Either that or they already had it with them. The mob of zombies were right behind him, tailing behind, quickly gaining on the boy. There had to be someway he could loose them, but how?

"He's a beautiful monster" "You're a knife, sharp and deadly" More gunshots? The Vaporeon's head snapped again at the new sound of gunshots coming from his left, only to be drawn back quickly to his right at the sound of running footsteps and the familiar sounds of moaning and groaning. His eyes went a little wide at the sight, a Rattata running in his direction with a small horde of zombies chasing after him. If the group had been smaller he would've just ran at them and started swinging, but even he was a bit out numbered, even with his lead pipe and street skills. He turned quickly and ran towards the second round of gunshots he heard coming from up ahead, running alongside the somewhat exhausted looking Rattata. If someone had a gun, he could only hope that they would at least help the two out. Silas wasn't much for getting charity, but now the two seemed to need it.
Not bothering to talk to the Rattata boy next to him, the two kept running, it wasn't too great of a distance but it was a little far, and the mall was rather large. Just when Silas was starting to get annoyed that he couldn't find the source of the gunshots he heard, he saw a dark figure in black with gold markings fending off another small horde of the reanimated corpses, and managing to get most of them to stay down. He felt relieved, not necessarily that he found someone else, but that someone that was still alive was better armed than himself, and he didn't have to keep searching for the source of the sound.

S---, where are those shots coming from? Ayumi searched around her for people, but saw no one in sight. They must have been toward a more barren part of the mall. Still, it wouldn't be long until it filled with more creepers.
"Yo, Mys," She called to the Driflblim gijinka as she heaved the Magikarp onto her back. "I think we better, huff, follow those shots. We gotta keep moving. Those monsters must be everywhere. People aren't trigger happy in a zombie invasion." Ayumi trudged forward, balancing the girl as she stepped. None of them had weapons unfortunately. They would have to keep sharp to avoid anything. Everything in the mall became a weapon at this point. From the hooks to clothing; it didn't matter if the material was durable or hard it just had to work. More importantly, everyone had to work together. Mystral's bright purple outfit would be easy to spot, so she wouldn't lose track of her thankfully. On the other hand, the Magikarp was out, but she would probably revive soon. She ambled down the hall, not wanting to exert more energy than necessary. She heard a faint call. "I think I see a few people!" Below her, she spotted a trigger happy guy taking out several zombies. Ayumi bit her lip. There wasn't an escalator nearby, but an emergency stairwell stood to the side. She wondered if she should join the stranger. "Hey, Mystral, y'think we should head down there?"

《♠Taroro ℕezumi♠》 ___________________________________________________________________ __ _ _ _ _ _ _ Not far away from the boy, was a man with bright blue streaks in his hair, probably there for the same reason as he was. Taroro was glad that he found someone alive and not wanting to gnaw off his flesh, but there was no way either of them could hold off the mob by themselves, let alone avoid it. The Rattata ignored the cold blood from his finger drip, while the piercing pain still lingered on. He was too much in a pinch to worry about an injury like that. As the man started to pick up his pace, so did the boy. Taroro took a quick glance from the corner of his eyes to observe the actions of the zombies. They were like drunken cannibals, swinging their arms around lazily and moaning while they moved forward. It was disgusting, the boy scowled.
The source of the gunshots got closer as he ran towards the same path as the Vaporeon. If he wanted to make it out alive, he had better stick with someone, whether they wanted it or not. He didn't mind that the man didn't say a thing, in fact, it was probably for the best. It wasn't the right time for conversations anyway. Not letting the man out of his sight, his eyes fixed firmly onto him. Then within moments, both of them came into sight of a tall dark figure, shooting and clubbing mercilessly at the lifeless monsters. Before the boy had forgotten, he turned around only to be faced by the previous horde of zombies that were chasing him. 'S**t' He thought, staring hard at the approaching zombies, gritting his teeth. Flipping out the pocketknife he had found earlier on, he held onto it firmly with one hand and was ready to punch them all down again like how he did previously with the group. Although, in the process of escaping from them, the mob had built up quite a bit and had more of those lifeless creatures in it. He felt his heart pound, the boy was sure he couldn't take them all out by himself.____________________________________________________________________________ __ _ _ _ _ _

and maybe....you're gonna be the one that saves me... Salem heard another voice yell. It seemed as though there had been another breach in the "security" of the mall. They would have to do much more to secure this place if this was the best it had on it's own. Of course, staying here long term was completely unrealistic. They would run out of supplies in a month at best. Especially with how many people seemed to be here. Salem quickly gathered himself, and the two weapons he had found and headed for the direction of the voice.
It came from down another section of the mall, near the sporting goods store. A good place to start, actually. He reloaded the shot gun as he approached. "Behind ya," he called out to the umbreon, to avoid startling him and getting hit. He aimed for the zombies around the edges, taking them out with head shots as he had the previous zombie. He felt a sense of ease wielding the gun, it had been something he learned to do in childhood with his mother and it was coming back to him naturally.

I'm not here for your entertainment You don't really wanna mess with me tonight x x x In all of the sounds of moaning and groaning and just.. disgusting sounds of the dead, Dendera didn't appear to be hearing any voices calling out to him. He was quickly working this group down in numbers, careful to avoiding the reaching hands and hungry mouths. He wouldn't be getting bit, no ******** them. He could handle himself and he'd die before he became a punk to some corpses. Military trained and seasoned with a degree in weapons and defense technology, he was probably more ready for something like this than anyone else he could encounter.
He heard a voice call to him and he glanced in their direction before swinging his golf club hard into one of the living dead skulls. Bang! The blood splatter made quite the mess as he swung that thing around very precisely, not just wildly thrusting it out hoping to hit something. In his time in the mall he'd come to at least somewhat understand and predict their movements as he had been fighting them off. It seemed like his new company had a shot gun, that was good. At least there was one other person with a valid weapon to help out. He hoped that he knew how to use it, and it seemed like he did considering the shots he was making around Dendera.
Oh he would be so dead if he missed and hit the umbreon though, he was in no mood to deal with an injury today. Not with all the s**t he was already dealing with. But before he could say much to the petite man with the gun there was two figures rushing towards him for dear life. It seemed there were more survivors. He pushed away the nearby horde, swinging the club in a swipe around himself and then turned quickly, unloading a round of ammo on the group of walking dead that followed the two boys. "Bam headshot." he said aloud, he was saying it in his head every time the bullets landed. He never missed, he couldn't miss, he would just hate himself if he missed.
It seemed that there were more though, at least he and the sableye had nearly destroyed the group that Dendera had rushed headlong into. Now they had to worry about the bunch that those boys had brought their way. "Behind me." he commanded very harshly as he tossed the golf club at the rattatta, pulling out his other hand gun and immediately unleashing hell upon that mob of zombies. "Now!" he yelled, letting them know that he was serious, no one was dying on his watch.

and maybe....you're gonna be the one that saves me... Salem breathed heavily for a moment, feeling relief that at least that group had been managed. But of course he looked up to see more coming for them, lead by two boys who seemed intact. He reached for his side, where the pistol was stuck into his belt. He pulled it out, it would surely be faster than the shot gun and easier to load.
He began gunning down the mob, taking great care to always his them in the head. Yes, he may have missed a few times, but he always corrected. He felt slightly challenged by the umbreon's grace with weapons, though that was just his competitive nature. Truth be told, he felt more safe around him, at least he knew what he was doing.
Salem looked at him for a brief moment between fire, yes he was definitely attractive but probably too strong of a personality for Salem. "You're pretty good with those," he nodded his head, motioning at the guns.

"He's a beautiful monster" "You're a knife, sharp and deadly" Needless to say, they were starting to get surrounded by gathering zombies. Either they were making too much noise and drawing the beings to them, or there was a leak somewhere in the mall, some sort of opening they were getting in. That, or these zombies had just been wandering the mall until something drew their attention. No matter how you looked at it, it wasn't good. Sure they were able to take down quite a few, but they couldn't very well handle the whole city's population on their own, and not all at once. It didn't even have to be the whole city, the gathering survivors would have to rest at some point, and eat, they weren't like what they were trying to fend off.
Silas kept running, absentmindedly following the man's orders. Now wasn't the time to argue about who was in command and doing what, and his body was more or less moving on it's own, his instincts and adrenaline kicking in. He ran quickly, dashing behind the armed man and darting around to his side as he fired consistently at the horde of zombies that had been chasing the Rattata and Vaporeon. He waited a little, until the zombies were close enough and the man's line of fire wouldn't hit him, before he moved forward a bit and swung the lead pipe at any grotesque looking faces and heads he could find.
The Vaporeon never had sword training, or gun training for that matter. The only weapon he was ever familiar with was a somewhat long dagger that he miraculously had on him at this very moment, but a dagger wouldn't do much when you had to crush the being's heads in. It stayed where it was, tucked in the top of the back of his pants under his shirt, and would remain there unless he ended up in close hand to hand combat. For the time being, he kept quiet and helped the two armed men and now, somewhat, armed Rattata in trying to fend off the mass of flesh eating zombies.

I'm not here for your entertainment You don't really wanna mess with me tonight x x x Dendera was glad to see that the boy was following his order. He wasn't trying to be bossy or anything it was just that in a situation of life or death his trained instincts kicked in and he wanted control of the situation and would rationalize his constricting behavior with his qualifications for this type of thing. Actually he was pretty grateful right now for his background.
Not only had he served in the military for Cairo and spent a life around guns but he also was very knowledgeable in weapons technology, all skills that he thought would be useful in this situation. Though truthfully, he had to hope that they found a 'people person' because he definitely wasn't that guy and he was sure that morale would get low and his temper would get shorter. He wasn't fit to be any sort of leader really, just a soldier.
When his skills were praised he gave a short nod before pistol whipping a zombie right in the face. "Yours as well." he said shortly, not giving much praise because he was too distracted to care about rubbing each other's egos right now. That's not to say that it wasn't true, he did find the guy to be pretty useful with a weapon, and at least he had a weapon. It seemed like the petite man could handle himself, that was one less person that would need real defending though he understood that they would all have to watch each other's backs.
Bang bang bang. The smell of rotting flesh was horrible, far worse than the scent of the dead in a war against the living. He was disgusted and just wanted to complete his mental objectives. Find the survivors, find a safe zone, hold out until reinforcements. It seemed that it wouldn't take long for the sableye and himself to get this under control, and at least the vaporeon he had ordered behind him had some sort of weapon to knock the mob back away from them.

and maybe....you're gonna be the one that saves me... Salem just kept moving, almost on autopilot. He was tired from this day, this awful day. But he couldn't stop moving. Finally the zombies had thinned enough that he could walk forward, only occasionally having to pop of some bullets. "Let's just follow them to the source," he said to his companions, as he continued. Then he realized they'd need something to fill the break.
"One of you, get some boards, or metal slates, or some ******** s**t, I don't know," he really wasn't confident in any leadership skills he had either, he just wanted to block up the hole and secure the mall. Then he could relax, have a drink, and maybe a hit. Though that was his biggest fear right now, his supply was dangerously low and he had no way to get more. The withdrawal would be worse than getting eaten alive by the undead that surrounded them. He shook away those thoughts and pushed on.

"He's a beautiful monster" "You're a knife, sharp and deadly" Silas glanced back at the Sableye as he spoke, glancing around soon after to look for something, anything to block the incoming traffic of zombies. A blockade sounded good, something to at least stop them from entering the mall so that he could stop and take a breather. They were near a sporting goods store, so there was bound to be something in there they could use. His eyes finally settled on an air hockey table and some knocked over clothing stands. It wasn't much, but they could at least use it to block the whole and prop the stands against it to keep it supported and shut for the time being, wherever that 'hole' was.
The mass of zombies was starting to gradually decrease, they were slow and couldn't think, so fending them off was really just time consuming at most, but they could eventually keep up with the amount, temporarily. "I need some help," he called out to no one in particular. Silas couldn't manage it by himself, his frame was too small for that. He ran through the clearing and into the entrance of the store, setting some of the clothing stands on top of the air hockey table and trying to push it to where they needed it to go.
He paused after a minute, standing straight and glancing back up at the small group of people and realizing how stupid he probably looked right about now. It seems his body was moving a bit too automatically, even in the midst of all this violence, he could still get annoyed. "Do you even know where they're coming in from," he said, mainly stating and not asking, a dull expression in place. Whatever 'nice' mood he might have been in slipped, and he took out his frustrations of himself out on someone else. Silas was annoyed that he let himself act so rashly, but also annoyed at this whole situation. His temper was starting show itself, even given the circumstances. The Vaporeon was starting to slip out of 'survival' mode for the moment and acting more like he usually did.

《♠Taroro ℕezumi♠》 ___________________________________________________________________ __ _ _ _ _ _ _ Right, just what the boy needed, another useful weapon for double wielding. He smiled, satisfied with the new weapon he had received from the Umbreon. It's head was bloody and the smell of iron was strong but the boy had to deal with it for the time being, he didn't have much of a choice now did he? Following instructions, the boy jumped backwards, just in time for the man to land a few head shots on some zombies. The lifeless creatures moaned, dropping to the floor with a thud. The Rattata cringed at the sight of oozing blood from their gun wounds. It wasn't everyday that you get to see dead, dead people, not to mention a whole cluster of them. But it wasn't the time to get so worked up over the sight or stench of things. All they could do now, was fight for their lives. The lavender haired boy took a quick glance at their current situation. If the Umbreon and Sableye were taking care of long ranged attacks, he would have to deal with short range, melee attacks. He didn't mind, after all his weapon of choice would usually be his fists but in this situation, it wouldn't be enough. Swinging the newly acquired weapon by his side once, getting the feel of it, he charged forward, aiming at the head of each zombie since it looked as effective as the gunshots that took the others out. Only taking the ones that were coming too close to the group of survivors ,so as not to get caught in either of the gunner's line of fire. The pocketknife he previously had was pretty useless at this point, unless he had to slice something with it, but even if it did, the wound would be shallow and he doubt that it would do any harm to a zombie. Blood splattered as he hit each individual zombie with a devastating blow to the head. Due to melee combat, the blood had splashed onto his clothes as well, staining it. Even his face was covered in the disgusting blood of the dead. He paused, whipping some off before he lunged forward again to take down more of his targets. The boy was surprisingly enjoying this, but his face didn't show. He had a serious expression plastered to his face the whole time he was engaged in combat. Being quick on his feet, the Rattata had a pretty easy time dodging incoming attacks. The fact that zombies were even slower than any normal human, made him faster around them.

Theadore "Mimi" ♀ . ♂
In the midst of the attack Thea had just continued to shake unable to comprehend it was over as tears streaked her bloody saliva covered face. It wasn't until a few moments after being asked if she was okay did she just plain & simply pass out from all the excitement & fear. The Krabby did not stir awake until a few moments later, awakening on someone's back & immediatly felt awkward but didn't say anything about it or anything at all just nervously made a better grip so as not to fall. If all went well she wouldn't be found out about being a new half & she would just be let down, but only as she thought about it more didn't want to get down & only wished Aefes was here. He was supposed to meet her here, he knew how she was strangers, so why didn't he show? & just when it was a zombie apocalypse... The thought made her start to cry even as she tried to just suck it up hating showing such weakness in front of others. Why did this have to happen?
(( Yay for kind neighbors! He's allowing us to use the interenet connection from his place until we get ours * A * Gosh, I leave for like a night & so much has happened already... & BTW Aefes is going to be my Feebas whenever I get to actually claim him & stuff c: Replacing my Magikarp for him~))
