About Hikaru: I understand completely that this is in the manga style, but... his shoulders are too thin. And where's the tip of his nose? Keep in mind human proportions while you draw. I know it's tough, believe me (in fact, tomorrow I'm going to a local art college to get my work torn to shreds...). Try out posemaniacs.com. It's got some amazing resources.
About Zero: So glad somebody drew Zero-Kun!
Anyway... your facial proportions and perspective are off. No offense, but his mouth kinda looks like half of his face is paralyzed. And, unless you're Michael Jackson, the human nose does not go straight down, even in a 3/4 view like you've got going on here. Don't just study manga. Study how the world really works. Granted, Matsuri Hino can draw big shiny eyes and flowy shojo hair and all, but I would bet my college fund that she can sketch just about anything that's put in front of her, and do it well.
Keep in mind that manga has a very solid basis in realism. All artwork does.
Keep practicing; that's all that'll get you better. Practice practice practice.I know who would want to take me home...--Semisonic,
