He shrugged lightly, a twinge of a smile crossing his face, "It was the first thing that came to mind... for. my. wifey.~" The last three words he stretched playfully, touching his nose to hers. One thing he could easily point out, Forte made it easier for him to laugh... and the thought made his eyes widen and he suddenly flushed a dark shade of red... realization seeming to creep into his brain.

Nerves fluttering in her stomach she shuddered lightly, her eyes lowering. He still called her wifey....and she liked him calling her that. So very much, possibly too much to be healthy, or so she thought anyway. She smiled, her blush flaring slightly as he touched his nose to hers....and she tried desperately to contain herself and her emotions from doing something that she shouldn't. She could not ruin her friendship with Roma....no matter how she felt about him. "Your....really.....close...." Noting his blush only made the whole deal worse for Forte, her entire being screaming for her to just kiss him already, but still she held back. Even restraining herself with all her might she couldn't help but lean forward even more, lightly nuzzling against his nose as she did so.

"Yeah...." Roma blinked, not sure what to do at this point... letting go altogether would make her suspicious, but he was at a point where playing it off was impossible. The minute he felt her soft nuzzling, he pressed his lips lightly against hers, realizing all too late what he was doing and quickly pulling away, looking away from her when he turned the darkest red he'd ever known... at least, it felt that way. Not to mention the expression that crossed his face he didn't need her to see as he pressed the back of his wrist against his mouth.

Gulping she was about to apologize for her sudden affection, when lips stopped anything from coming out. All thoughts stopped in her head and her body froze, what she had been hoping and wishing to happen finally happening. Before she could react he had pulled away and she watched as he turned his head, leaving a very very confused Forte still partially in his grasp. "R....roma? I...what...are you?" Reaching out a paw she lightly brushed his flaming cheek, caressing it softly even in her confusion.

His first reaction at her touch was fluffing up, a look of guilt crossing his face, "I'm s-sorry, that wasn't a good idea was it?" He fiddled his paws nervously, afraid to meet her gaze and see rejection written in her features. He folded his ears flat against his head and clung to his tail, his admiration still flushing his face with color.

So he did mean to kiss her.......she had thought it was just some kind of reaction, they had been close and their had been some tension which was only been relieved when his lips had touched hers...wait he had wanted to kiss her! Watching him Forte tried fully processing what was going on, but all she could think about was the very very cute male in front of her who looked adorable with his submission. "Roma....." And with his name she lost it. Launching herself onto him she kissed him hard, her paws wrapping around his neck and tangling in his hair as she tried pulling him closer.

The minute her lips touched his, it was over. He wrapped his arms around her waist and kissed her just as hard, allowing her to pull him close as she had been intending, any gap between them closing in an instant. His brain refused to allow any thought, and his doubts and confusions melted like snow to make way for this momentary bliss. He broke away for a mere second to breathe, only to kiss her again, refusing his thoughts to return from prior.

She was in heaven. It was all she had dreamed of and more, the way his lips felt against hers, his hands hot on her waist, how close it was. It was perfect. She clung to him, as if he might walk away at any moment and she'd wake to find it had all been a dream. They parted and she panted deeply, happily welcoming his lips back as soon as they had both refilled their lungs. He was staying.....and he was kissing her. That's really all she needed.

He could feel her grip, and he forced the kiss to end abruptly, his eyes boring into hers to seek answers by word, rather than body. "Forte... I.... this...." He murmured, his voice thick with the longing to kiss her again. No amount of power could take his paws off her, and they stayed firmly wrapped around her defensively.

Panting she listened to his murmured voice, the sound of it thrilling her to no end as she realized it was her who had caused his voice to change, and it was her that was causing him to act this way. "Roma....I..." Unsure what to say she releashed a paw and gently started caressing any piece of him she could, her eyes following her own movements for awhile before turning to meet his eyes. "Roma....I've wanted to do that for the longest time."

His face broke into a soft smile, warmth radiating in his voice, "Looks like I've caught up, then... took me long enough." He pressed his lips lightly to her forehead, not in a kiss... just feeling her there, his heart pounding in his chest just by feeling her pulse against his, making it hard to breathe.

Sighing happily she snuggled into him, making sure her head didn't move much from under his touch. "Please never make me wait again....I don't like to be apart from you." Her heartbeat quickened as she admitted this, her paws safely secured around his neck, one trailing up and down his spine and the other curled in his hair, enjoying the feel of his golden locks.

His smile widened and he chuckled, "It'll be hard enough to let go now... I don't think you'll have much to worry about." He cradled her face with a paw, unable to avoid flashing his pearly whites at her in the process. The moment called for his teasing, at least in his mind, and he stuck his tongue out, "Guess you really are 'wifey' then, huh?"

Laughing she shook her head lightly at him, "If you dare keep me waiting again....." Leaving the playful threat hanging in the air she giggled at his own playfulness, her eyes narrowing slightly and an eyebrow raised. "I wasn't aware you asked me to be your wife. Jumping to conclusions hmmm?" Laughing lightly she nuzzled her nose against his again, pleased by this new change and wondering how her family will feel about it.

Roma smirked, "As I recall, a certain bowl was making me her husband before I started calling her 'wifey'..." He gave her a light squeeze and added, "Should I stick to saying Forte~" He purred lightly, her name becoming as sexual as possible when he said it aloud, teasing her.
