Elenoa I think my teacher said something like Jesus Christ is Jesus's human name, and Christ Jesus is like his godly name or something...i'm confused now : Your teacher sounds uneducated, not to be rude but what Christ was called in real life was Y'Shua, Jesus Christ is a english-ized version of His latin name. I think I already said this but hey its totally true go ask a Hebrew scholar. biggrin

Well we only have NIV, not cut-and-dry Hebrew Bible. And this person was only a sunday school teacher, she wasnt actually a scholar or anything.

Christ is a greek word I believe(for annointed one or messaih(don't think I spelled that right) ) anyways Christ is his title, not part of his name, He was called Jesus of Nazerath(don't think I spelled that right either) by humans.
