How Much is that Jewel in the Window?

There was very little that drew Leviathan out of the water very long aside from pouncing on princesses, hunting for food that lived on the land, and meetings with General Arlen. Aside from that he mostly preferred to stay within the sun warmed waters of 'his' beach or the river that was nearby, all depending on what his plans for that particular day were. The only reason he was where he was currently was for the amusement of his worthless Guardian as he found he could still use the guy from time to time so he was going to keep him around. For now at least, the moment he ran out of uses he would be sure to drown the blond. That wasn't now though, sadly... not that he had anywhere to drown the fool at the moment since they were in the middle of a miserable, waterless city.

"Why in the name of the depths are we here again?" He asked, giving a hiss at a random child that dared to get to close to him, not liking the idea of being touched by some brat with sticky hands when he had no use for them. Much to his delight the child burst into tears and raced after its parent for affection and protection. Leviathan smirked despite the look that he was getting from Roll who seemed as though he weren't in anyway amused by the fact that his son was torturing little kids.

"I have a prospective job, something that will give me a couple days of work and I thought you come along, help out and get some spending cash of your own." He said. Roll was, if nothing else, good as securing jobs that would only last a short amount of time, pay in cash, and ask no questions about things like his place of residence.

Leviathan's tail lashed, thumping against the ground, he barred his teeth, and he growled low in his throat, "Thrice damned fool! Do you think that someone like me, The Lord of the Ocean, needs some damn job that pays so little?" He asked, arms crossing over his chest, "I have enough money that I can take care of myself just fine! Before you even think to ask, no, no you can't have any of it. Go to your job! Worthless human, you make me want to shake you!"

Roll waited until he was done with his rant, used to them by now, chuckled and nodded, "Fine, I didn't think you would be interested but I figured that you would want to have at least the offer or else you would end up bitching about how I never tell you anything that is going on." There was no winning with Levi, he'd learned that a lot time ago and that the best way to deal with him was to agree, nod, and then ignore him when he threw his fits and made his villain like speeches, "Do you want to meet somewhere? If you want to hang out in the park there is a water par that is set up for the kids that you can hang out in if you want to keep wet, just try not to eat anyone, alright?"

"No promises if they try touching with those disgusting hands that they all seem to have." He said, turning around on his tail and slithered off in an arbitrary direction, grumbling and hissing about he could in his ocean hunting for treasure and tasty treats instead of cooking on a side walk like he were so much baked fish!

Roll watched him go, rolled his eyes, then turned to head in the opposite direction so that he could hurry toward where the job was waiting for him.

Leviathan looked over his shoulder, grumbled about stupid people and how they seriously needed to have common sense shaken into them and then he was casually looking around as he slithered along and found the area... strangely familiar. It felt almost as though he'd been around here before though he knew that he'd never been to this part of Durem before. He looked around, grumbled, lashed his tail, and otherwise seemed to be in a foul mood until something caught his attention from the corner of his eye. The blue sea dragon jerked his head to the side and then the rest of him followed, rushing forward to look through the glass at the most beautiful trinket he'd ever seen in his life. At first glance he knew instantly that it was real and it was rare, rare enough that the dragon in him started to drool. He had to have it!

Of course the moment he thought about it he realized because of that fool not telling him where they were going he had no money with him... this would require something special he thought to himself. What he lacked in sneakiness and finesse he made up for in brute strength and intimidation! Those were going to have to work for him quite well here and now...

Free is the Price For Me!

Leviathan wasn't sure how long he'd been stuck to the glass of the shop, starring at the item that he felt the need to have, something that was calling out to him to the point that it was making him want to just take it. A voice inside of him asked what was stopping him, squinting through the window he didn't see a show owner in sight, it meant that really all he had to do was open the door, slither inside, grab it, then back out. He found himself trying to judge the distance between the door and the display case, he was pretty well certain that if he reached in and grabbed it some of his coils would still be holding the door open. It was a good idea... the door would close only after he was gone and nobody would be the wiser!

The end of his tail was swishing from side to side, his wing like fins were fluttering rapidly, and he was grinning like a Cheshire cat. He could do this, "Do it, don't let some silly human rules hold you back. You are the Lord of the Ocean, your a Dragon! Your above all of these foolishes pieces of pink meat." He told himself, giving himself a pep talk as though he were getting ready to go into a battle instead of what he was doing. He drew in a deep breath and then moved. He was slithering forward at a pace that was, for him, quite quick when normally he wouldn't bother with moving as fast as this on the land. The end of his tail held the door open, his hand reached out, and he grabbed hold of the beautiful item with the three gems in it that reminded him the deep blue waters of his ocean. The moment his scaly hand closed around it it just felt... right. He grinned and then he was retreating, back out the door with his stolen goods in his hand.

There was a rather cheerful 'ding' sound when the door closed after him but he was already outside, inspecting the glittering object, seeming to be bedazzled by it, "Heh, that was easier then expected. Nothing is to difficult for me." He said, grinning to show many sharp teeth before he was racing off as fast as his coils could carry him. It wasn't as though he weren't the most obviously thing on the block which meant putting as much distance between him and the scene of his crime as possible. Levi slipped into the shadows of an alleyway so that he could hide himself in the darkness and seemed to be waiting, for sirens, for police officers who already didn't like him, or for some crazed shop owner to come after him with a baseball bat and yet there was... nothing? It didn't see that the shop was very well protected, was it? There was a sighing sound from the dragon "That was almost a disappointment." He muttered, he would love talk puff up and go on and one about how weak and pathetic humans were but this was bad even for them.

"Oh well, its mine now regardless how horrible their security team is." He said, giving a nod to himself before he set to inspecting the gem more closely, seeming to be appraising it, trying to figure out how much it might be worth but he couldn't seem to figure out. He rarely had a hard time pricing an object and when he did it was one of those things that was going to be called 'priceless' by anyone he tried to sell it to. He'd learned that he tried to sell off something else that he'd found swimming his territory in the ocean. Priceless was a rather useless price if you asked him.

"Alright, now what to do." He murmured, the end of his tail lashing now. He wanted to head back to his back so that he would be able to hide the jewel away where it would be safe but he knew that he wouldn't be able to do that when that fool Roll was still here. The guy would end up wandering around the park all day and night trying to find him since he was dumb enough to think that he actually wanted to visit a hot city like this one. What he was going to do was get to the park, curl up under the water features that Roll had mentioned earlier, and he would stay there nice and cool until Roll was done with his foolish work and they were able to go home.

Claimed in the Name of the Lord of the Ocean

It was far to long a slither from the scene of his crime and the park that he was supposed to go to. It was to hot, to dry, and he wanted nothing more then to find the water park that his idiot of a guardian had been talking about so that he could go and take it over. He was hot, hot, hot! He moved off the concrete to the grass finding it to be far better then moving on the over heated stone and then looked around as he went. He heard it first, the wonderful sound of flowing water though there was also the sound of squealing, giggling brats... but he shoved that aside. He would deal with some brats to get his hands on what it was that he wanted to have all to himself.

He barred his many sharp teeth, hissed, and flared his wing like fins as he got close and much to his complete and utter joy children and parents alike scattered likes in a hurricane allowing him to move under the spray of one of the fountains and he flopped down where the water was falling, drawing in all of his coils and arranged them so that he could get the most exposure possible to the cold, refreshing water. He stretched his arms out over his head, one of them closed tightly around the gem, and his eyes sank closed as he soaked up the water as well as the horrified whispers from the crowd around him tat were to freaked out to get any closer to him then they were which leave a nice five yards on all sides between him and any of the snot nosed little brats that had been playing around in the water before he claimed it as how own.

He was soon peacefully dozing, very lightly mind you as he didn't want to risk anyone stealing what was his or coming close enough to him to touch him. He would bite their hands if they even tried he thought to himself, the end of his tail thumping against the ground in an aggressive manner as though he were warning those around him without words that they needed stay way back or else there would be Hell to pay.

The sea dragon settled into a nice, comfortable position where he was able to soak up the sun, be cooled by the water, and feel a nice breeze as well. He was a contented Lord of the Ocean and he had to admit that were he to come back to this park that this would be the place that he would go... though he could only hope that he was never stuck going back here. The place wasn't bad but it wasn't his ocean, wasn't his territory, it was anyone close to either of those actually. While it was a place that he would love to permanently claim as his own he decided that it was to far away from his own space to do something like that. If his place was closer yes, but since he had to take a horrible, overcrowded, and smelly bus to even get to place.

This was a temporary bit of territory, one he would make use of while he was staying in the area but once he was done with it those little brats could have it back... he supposed.

As he dozed the item in his hand, a golden item that was set with three good sized blue sapphires, was glittering in the sun bright, reflecting the light in all directions. It really was a beautiful item and it made it almost understandable why Leviathan would go out of his way to steal it without thinking over what could end up happening in the end. The gem was his now and possession was nine tenths of the law which meant that if the shop owner didn't notice that it had gone missing by now then he couldn't care less about the person and his or her feelings later on...

Waking up as a Servant

The moment that he woke up he knew that something was wrong, the gem that he had been holding in his hand felt like lead and it felt as though its worth was the same as that of a rock that one found on the ground. His exotic eyes slid open so that he could turn his attention to the trinket that... looked the same but somehow not, it seemed lifeless and heavy in his hand, one glance and he knew instantly that it was worthless... it had been a rich and beautiful item before, gold and sapphires. How had the worth plummeted into nothingness during his nap? The answer was sitting not to far away, soaking up the water from one of the sprinklers. He wasn't sure how but instantly he knew that... that... fish was the cause. He starred for a moment before he set to gathering himself up, sitting up, and he starred at the pink and teal being before him.

Leviathan was displeased for only a moment before he got to thinking on what this might mean. Once upon a time ago Roll had showed him a scale that seemed to hold the same, dull and lifeless look that the trinket in his hand did. It was dull and ugly, just the same and he said it was an item given to him that Leviathan had sprung forth from. He hadn't believed him since it sounded like drivel to him but now... now he seemed to not only believe but had experienced it himself. So this kid before him had been born from the item that he'd stolen from that junk shop? The end of his tail set to swishing before he slithered over over to him, reaching a hand out, and grabbed hold of the boy by his chin, looking him over, "I think you will make a fair enough servant, little Guppy." He said, nodding in delight. This was what he needed, someone to do various chores around his territory, to clean up the beach, patrol the shore, and chase off unwanted humans.

"Your rather small aren't you?" He sighed, that was a problem but it wasn't one that couldn't be overcome, "It doesn't matter, small or not I think you will be able to go about your chores quite well."

The fish boy, actually of a race called Zora, starred up at the long, serpentine dragon that had hold of him, and he could only nod as he was assigned the title of 'servant' the nickname of 'Guppy' and the insult of being 'rather small' all in a short amount of time. He didn't fight the hold that the much larger male had on him feeling that it would be rather foolish of him to even consider such a thing. Instead he pushed up onto his fin like feet so that he could at least attempt to look a little bit bigger though standing next the one that was tower over him he felt as small as this one had told him he was...

"I... who... are you?" He dared to ask.

"Who? Sheesh, what a useless sort of servant you are. I am Leviathan, Lord of the Ocean of course! Fool..." He gave a roll of his eyes then released his hold on him, "Not as though its your fault for not knowing though, you seem a rather simple creature the way that your starring so dumbly at me."

The Zora opened his mouth and seemed very much like a fish out of water before slowly he closed it once more, taken aback by his speech as well as the way he was insulting him so easily, "Ahhh..."

"Don't bother thinking to hard on it, Sharkbait, from this day forward your going to be serving me and the others of my army as our servant. You needn't worry about thinking since I will be doing all your thinking for you." He shifted his coils so that he could lounge back as though they were a throne as well as a part of him. He was sure that this venture was going to be a great one, this boy was going to be quite useful he could tell already. His inability to fight back seemed to make him that much more interesting if you asked the Sea Lord. He was, needless to say, pleased.

The Zora, dubbed Guppy, Servant, and Sharkbait thus far wasn't nearly as pleased... instead he felt something akin to dread filling his belly.

Low Man on the Totem Pole

Guppy was a fish... and yet he was flying at the moment, having been to slow to dodge his Master's tail when the two of them were training. He hit the ground rather hard, rolled, and came to a halt at the edge of water coated in sand. Slowly he opened one eye to look over at where Leviathan was standing before giving a gasping sound as he realized that the lesson of sorts was in no way over... in fact the large, heavy tail of his Master was coming right down at him. Guppy scrambled in the sand and was able to avoid the tail this time around though only just barely. He stumbled, half blinded by the sand, into the water and dove under.

Leviathan blinked a couple times as his servant retreated before giving a shake of his head, "Dumb idea to go to the water." He muttered to himself, following after. The little fish brain didn't think to far ahead yet, he wasn't trying hard enough to be really... well... strategic. To run to the water when the one he was fleeing from was more at home in the water then on land was a bad idea. At least on land Guppy had a better chance given he had those legs of his to move around with, able to move at a pace quicker then was Levi could, more at ease then Levi as well. Oh well, he supposed this would be one of those... life lessons or something.

The moment he was submerged he spotted where the other was fleeing and he was after him instantly, his long coils coming unbunched and set to moving in a waving motion that made it seem almost as though he were slithering under water, as he pursued his 'prey'. It didn't take long at all for him to catch up, reaching on hand out to grab hold of the ankle of the fish boy and he gave a tug, pulling Guppy back to him, "Bad move, trying to hide from me in the water." He said, tail wrapping around Guppy before he tossed him downward, through the water, crashing him into the sandy bottom of the ocean floor. Guppy gave a grunt, a rush of bubbles escaping his mouth, and he laid there as though stunned.

Levi dove down after him, catching him by the arms, and pinned him to the floor of the ocean, starring down at him through narrowed eyes, "Your dead you know."

Guppy's eyes opened and he blinked up at Leviathan, looking more then a little confused, "H-Huh...? Dead?"

"Yes, dead. If I were an enemy you would already be dead! Fool... you shouldn't allow yourself to be capture so easily!" Leviathan scolded him before going into one of his long, somewhat villainous rants about who the enemy was, that they were always out to get the two of them as well as the other members of Leviathan's army, as well as other things that he was constantly saying. It worried Guppy at times, to know that there were so many dangerous people out there... so many that wanted to get hold of Leviathan to kill him in a manner that sounded as though it would be merciless.. and being that he was Leviathan's servant it seemed that he was on the list of those that were going to be killed along with the Lord of the Ocean were they ever found and captured.

"I will get better." The fish boy murmured, wanting to do just that, not wanting to be weak, not wanting fall behind, or to put the army in danger because he wasn't as strong as the other members were. He seen what General Arlen was capable of, had seen what Leviathan was capable of, and he didn't want to be the weak link, "I will... I promise!"

Leviathan starred down at him for a long moment before releasing him, "You will, I know that... else you will end up getting yourself killed and eaten. I won't abide by it, your birth destroy a rather valuable jewel of mine and your not allowed to die until you replace it. Got it?"

Guppy nodded, pushing himself up off of the ocean floor and shook off all the dirt, "Got it, Lord Leviathan."

"Good, now... best that you get to practicing now. You never know when I am going to test you again." He said, giving his servant a long, hard look before turning around to swim off toward a rocky out cropping was located, obviously after something to eat. The Zora watched him for a long moment as he picked around through the rocks for his meal before turning to head toward the beach, he needed to work on strengthening himself up if he were ever going to be anything more then the low man on the totem pole... and given how easily Leviathan had thrown him around both on land and under the sea he knew it was going to be a long while before he got any promotions.

Scribbling in the Sand

I can't tell if the Fishface will ever be anything more then a useful servant that I can send on various errands and tease. But from time to time, rare occasions mostly, I think I almost see a glimmer of something more in him. I am not sure if he will be worth as much as the jewel he was born from but I would like to think that one day he will be. I can only hope that his reactions are due to being young. Then again when I was young I was far more then he is now... not everyone can be born as I am, the Lord of Ocean.

Still, I would like to believe that the jewel wasn't sacrificed for a servant... I don't expect Sharkbait to become as grand as my General Arlen is but I would like for him to become... something. I don't care if I have to beat the lessons into his head, its something I am more then willing to do if I have to do just that. He might need it... you see my experience and greatness came from having a rather worthless, vagrant bum of a human as my guardian. He has a great guardian, me! I suppose that has spoiled him in a way I wasn't spoiled. I will make him great in my manner of raising a child just as my guardian made me great in his manner. It will go well because I refuse to fail at something that should be easy, if a hobo can raise a child then the Lord of the Ocean can do the same!

~ Leviathan.

Two Princess Invaders

(( Done via AIM with Ceres ))

"Come on it will be lots of fun!" Lucifel chirped as she tugged at her younger sister.

Amelia just stared blankly at her green sister. But in the end she gave in and just followed blindly after her. She wished her sister would tell her where they were going... she really, really hated noisy places and places with a lot of people.

The Songs may have moved out of the cafe but they were still fairly close to the water. It was about fifteen minutes later that the ocean was in view.

There was a good section of beach that seemed to be completely empty even though the beach on either side was full of people who wanted to enjoy the last bit of warm weather before it got cold. There were signs up on each end of the open, empty area that seemed quite threatening, signs that told those who came to this area would get eaten. They weren't the most friendly of signs and something about them, or perhaps something about the one that made them, kept people away effectively.

On that same beach was a rather interesting green fish boy, he was walking along the edge of the water collecting shells. Each shell was inspected carefully and the ones that were imperfect or broken were tossed out of Lord Leviathan's territory and forgotten while the pretty, perfect shells were left in a pile a few steps into the water where Leviathan could find them, to look them over and decide which among them that he wanted for his collection.

Needless to say the Lord of the Oceans as he called himself had become a bit spoiled since he'd obtained his stolen servant and said servant was easily intimidated and as such did all that was needed of him no matter how silly an order might seem...

Lucifel was to notice the green boy, most because she was green herself and there weren't a lot of green people around. Which was fine by her, it meant she was just extra special.

Amelia did notice the green boy but only after she realized that the area he was in was empty. She didn't care what the signs said (she wasn't that good at reading just yet) she wanted to go in that area... where there weren't people.

Lucifel nodded her head when her sister nudged her forward. She had no time to check out those signs (not that she'd noticed them). She giggled and clapped excitedly... She was going to meet another green person... a boy. She wondered for a second why she was the only green girl. Vance was green and he was a boy....

Guppy paused in his shell sorting when he heard people approaching, turning his gaze in their direction before his gaze went to the water and then back again, "Umm... hello." He said before motioning in either direction, "The beach that way or that way is free to the public... I would hate for you to get in trouble for wandering into his territory." He didn't want the two to get in trouble... though then again...

"I supposed that you... might be alright though since your girls." He knew it was his job to attempt to chase them off but at the same times since they were girls it would likely please Leviathan since he seemed to have a weakness for females. Not that Guppy would ever say that out loud since Leviathan would be displeased were anyone to claim that he had a weakness of any sort.

"Hello," Lucifel said as she hopped from one foot to the next before spinning around. "Nice set of sand you have here." ... and 'ooofff' she ungracefully landed on her butt. However, she was quick to be in a fit of giggles.

Amelia just stood there. You could almost swear she'd rolled her eyes. "Hello," she finally said in very soft tones. "Do you have a name?"

Guppy blinked a couple times as the girl spun around only to land on her backside and he took a couple steps toward her, "Are you alright?" He asked, sounding a touch worried. His fins gave a little twitch before he turned to look over his shoulder. He knew that they were being watched now, it seemed every time that Leviathan watched him from under the water that it made his fins twitch... he shook his head then turned to look at the girls again, "Name...? No..." He said, shaking his head, "The closest I have to one is Guppy, what about the two of you?" He asked, curious if either of the two would qualify as the all important 'Princesses' that Lord Leviathan was always seeking out.

Lucifel stood up and brushed the sand from her. She was still in a fit of giggles. "Yep! Just fine!" She said in between breaths. "Name's Lucifel... my dad says I am one lucky gal!" Which was true... everything luck wise always favored her. There wasn't much that didn't go her way or went wrong.

"My name is Lady Amelia Sureal Song," she softly in an almost sing song voice. It was nice for a change not to have to talk over a room full of people. She walked away from them and towards the water.**

The boy nodded to Lucifel, glad to see that she was alright... and that she didn't seem in any way, shape, or form worried either. Lucky, huh? He would love to have some luck himself but he wasn't one to complain though since when he did it always upset his Lord, "I am glad that your alright Lucifel." He said before turning to watch the other girl, after introducing herself the girl with the horn headed toward the water which caused him to call to her, "Be careful over there."

It wasn't due to the fact that she seemed little and was heading toward the water and more because she was heading to the water where there was a dragon laying in wait... he could come lunging out at any moment, something he'd seen Leviathan do time and again when dealing with invaders. He could only hope that Leviathan wouldn't be as mean since the two here were girls, pretty ones at that. Since he had no idea what Leviathan thought was pretty he didn't know if his idea of what was pretty would count.
Amelia turned just enough to look at Guppy. She had a slight absent minded look as if nothing in the world was wrong or could go wrong... at least in her world. Again she looked towards the water. Within the next wave and slight shimmer of the water the girl had vanished. In her place was a short, thick unicorn colt.

Lucifel smacked her face and groaned. She was starting to understand how Tori felt. "Sorry! Just a moment!" She said in more serious tones than previous as she dashed towards the waters edge. The last thing she needed was for her sister to loose her dress...

Guppy gave a jump before he moved a few steps toward the girl that had just turned into a... unicorn? That was unexpected he thought to himself and then felt suddenly worried again. A princess standing in the water was one thing, a plump looking horse was another... surely though Leviathan wouldn't get an idea in his head to eat her? He sure hoped that he wouldn't do something like that... he gave a shake of his head before hurrying forward toward the water the two girls.

Within the water, watching the whole, strange show was Leviathan the self proclaimed 'Lord of the Oceans'. He'd moved forward to the edge of the water, under it still though only because he was laying on the floor of the ocean. He starred at the pair that were playing in the water and then to his servant who seemed to be fretting over them but not really trying hard to chase them off. Likely it was due to them being girls... Not that he minded but he found it a shame that neither of these two were the princess he really wanted to see. Then again there was no way she would be caught dead here or near any other deep water he was certain. The dragon shifted then slid forward, reaching a scaly hand slowly out of the water to reach out to give the pony with the horn a pat on the head.

Amelia stretched her neck just enough to accommodate the hand that was touching her. It was sorta like hay, rough to the touch. Her tail swished behind her spraying the two of them with a soft mist. "It's blue." She nipped at the fingers and whickered the moment she tasted the salt.

Lucifel snatched up the dress just in time before another wave had carried it off. So involved in the article of clothing that she didn't realize the 'dangers' that lurked beneath the waters. With her dry hand she clutched her chest and took a deep breath. "Amelia!" she exclaimed for no particular reason other than 'what the hell'. "No Amelia Guppy isn't blue he's green... like me."

Leviathan had to admit that he was rather... pleased, to have something not bother to scream and run when he reached out was a change. Of course he normally preferred when his damsels were the sort that were in distress but it was a nice change of pace. He slithered forward a bit father, so that he was able to rise up partially out of the water, just his head and shoulders, while the rest of his large form remained hidden, "Are you an interesting looking pony." He murmured, had it not been for the fact that he'd seen her as a princess first he might have considered making a snack out of her, being that she wasn't just some random horse he couldn't do so.

Guppy glanced over at Amelia when he heard an all to familiar voice speaking to her but when he saw that his Lord was only petting the little unicorn he didn't do anything to speak out against him... not that Guppy could do that, ever. He instead turned to look over at Lucifel instead, "I think it should be alright... he seems to like her." And not in the manner that he liked his food either, instead it seemed as though it were just that Leviathan was curious. Then again how often did one see a girl who could turn into a unicorn?

"My name's Amelia," she openly told the blue male with scales. This was her, innocent and naive. Careful of the shifting sands and constant waves she slowly lowered herself into a 'laying' position. The water was cool and aside from the sticking salt it felt really nice. She just hoped that the next wave wouldn't smack her in the face... "What is your name?" She again stretched her neck to make contact with that hand that had reached out moments before.

Lucifel looked from Guppy to her sister and to whoever that was in the water. "So you know him?" She was a bit more than confused but shrugged her shoulders. "Okay then!" She giggled. "If you say so," and she was once more back to her cheerful, carefree self. "So what you want to do?"

Leviathan chuckled when the girl introduced herself, finding it a bit... well amusing to say the least. He watched the way that the little horse creature plopped down near to him in the water, "My name is Leviathan." He told her in a manner that was strangely friendly for him, then again this one was female even in this strange new form of hers. He shifted his tail so that the end of it would loop around, giving him something to lean on in a somewhat lazy manner.

Guppy gave a nod of his head, "I know him." He said, giving his Lord a long glance before he gave a smile, "Want... to do?" He actually looked confused over having someone asking him what he wanted to do. Normally he was just told what to do when it came to Leviathan, "Not... sure. Do you like swimming?" He asked, he was pretty good at it himself so he would see if she wanted to try that out.

"Your name means sea monster, right?" Amelia's ears flickered. "I don't see you as much of one," though it was hard to tell she was smiling. In all of the world she probably saw nothing as a monster except for one creature... the bull. She watched the water as Levi shifted about to make himself more comfortable. "Just how much of you is there?" She asked curiously. It was hard to tell because the shifting made the waters a bit murky.

"I love to swim!" Lucifel dropped her sisters dress in the dry area of the sand. She then kicked off her flip flops and wiggled out of her cover up. It too went with Amelia's dress. "Come on!" She giggled and grabbed Gubby's hand. It only took her seconds, in her excitement, before she was dragging the green boy behind her.

He chuckled, "I don't seem like a monster to you because I don't eat talking ponies." He told her in a teasing manner before he looked down at the part of himself that he was lazing on, "How much? Quite a bit really, lots of coils plus my wings fins." He lifted his fins up out of the water, giving a flap of them before grinning. There was quite a bit of him and when he was in the water he could move in a rather quick and dangerous manner, on the land though he wasn't nearly as fast as he liked so he had to rely on stealth, something he failed at miserably.

Guppy smiled a little as he was pulled along toward the water, as they walked into it he asked her, "Do you... do you wanna try swimming under it?" He asked, "I can show you a trick that would let you." He offer in a shy manner, as though he really wasn't used to dealing with nice, hands on people. Instead just used to the people in Leviathan's group that ordered him about.

"I'm no ordinary pony," Amelia whickered and giggled at the same time. But it came to a sudden halt when Levi started to show parts of himself. There was a look of awe on her face. "You're really something! Very shinny." She finally said after a moments pause. "One day I'll be really, really something," she tossed her head up and down in a mater of fact way. This was her way of showing off. "This is just baby fat... or so they say..." She never really understood why in human form she was as thin as a sapling but as an equine she was bulky.

"I've done underwater for a few seconds at a time," Lucifel admitted. She was always to busy playing with LyLy to really swim. Sure than swam but it was generally only to catch up with the other. "You know how to swim under it real good?" You could tell by the sound in her voice that she was extremely interested in this information. "K! Sounds awesome!" She giggled and clapped.

"Really? What sort of something are you going to be one day?" He asked of her, finding himself a bit curious due to the level of confidence that she had in what she would be one day. A part of him almost wished that she would say that she would be a Princess since that would make his job of going out to find and steal them a lot easier! If only they would all come straight to him and give themselves up he thought before giving a chuckle as she told him that the reason she was round at the moment was due to baby fat.

Guppy glanced over at Leviathan for a moment but seeing he was completely caught up in the pony girl he gave a smile before he reached down to carefully remove one of his many, glittering scales, "Here you go!" He said holding it out to her, "If you stick this to you it will let you breath under water. Secret though, so don't tell. I don't want a bunch of people showing up wanting to steal all my scales." He doubted that would be very pleasant.

"I'll be what I am now only prettier," she said with a shake of her head so that her mane could catch the light just right. "No baby fat. Just sleek, slender, and beautiful. I'll be able to run really, really fast on these four legs of mine... Maybe even out run one of this big jungle cats," she said the last sentence more mater-of-factly than she meant to but she was proud of what she'd become. "I think that is why they gave me the title 'Lady'." Her ears swiveled when she heard her sister step into the water.

"Wow," Lucifel said with a look of awe on her face. She giggled as she flipped it over a couple of times. She was just about to stick it to her when she heard him ask not to tell. This kinda made her feel a little bad. Guppy was being so generous. Feeling that she should do so as well she reached out to touch him. "I'm lucky and as long as you're touching me you're lucky," she whispered hoping that the little green boy would catch on and realize that something good could happen to him at this moment.

He seemed to think on that one for a moment, Lady was a good title but he didn't quite think that was the same title as what a Princess would carry. Their title was 'Your Majesty' wasn't? He gave a thoughtful sound in his throat before asking, "You don't happen to be a pony princess do you?" He asked, surely he wasn't so lucky as to find a real princess that easily, but it was worth at least asking.

Guppy seemed quite delighted that Lucifel seemed to like the scale so much. He couldn't help but to smile, "I... I hope that you find it useful." He murmured in a shy but excited manner. He looked down at the hand that was touching him before smiling, "Lucky, huh? I could use some extra luck to aid me." He murmured. More luck meant one day he might be able to become more then just a servant in Leviathan's army one day. That was the biggest dream the Zora had at the moment.

If any thoughts of wrong doing had run through Levi's mind or had displayed through body motions or sounds Amelia wouldn't have picked up on it. In her 'world' no one could do wrong and thus she saw no wrong. "My sister Victoria tells me all the time that I am a princess," she said it without a second thought. Now whether or not she believed it was true was a different story. She much preferred 'Lady' over 'Princess'. "Are you a Prince or King or something?" She was asking because she was picking up on the fact that he was looking for a Princess or two or three or more...

"Yeah, I'm pretty dang lucky," Lucifel said with a confident smile as she stuck the scale to the right side of her neck. "Perhaps while were swimming we'll find something useful that can help you out." Her friend new Guppy had helped her out so she really, really wanted to help him out. "So what do we do next?" She asked as she gave the green boys hand a squeeze.

Leviathan perked up a bit, "Victoria says this?" He asked, giving a bit of a grin. He would trust her in saying who was and was not a princess he thought to himself, after all that woman had a name that he would associate with someone who would know who was important. He gave a smile, "So you are a princess, that's good to know." He would file away that information for later, for when the princess grew up.

"Me? Yes, I am the Lord of the Oceans." He said, grinning. That title was one that was self bestowed but at the same time he believed wholeheartedly that he was exactly that. After all he was a Leviathan, he was a great sea dragon and already he was slowly taking over this area as his own. The end of his tail wagged in a happy manner, as though just getting to introduce himself as Lord of the Oceans was enough to put him into a good mood.

Guppy gave a smile, "Now we just head into the water, the scale will do the rest." He said in a reassuring manner. It would work as a set of gills would for her, providing her through magical means the ability to breath despite going underwater. So long as Leviathan didn't learn about the ability things should go well enough. That not happening would be all the luck the boy could ask for.

"You know my sister?" Amelia asked as her tailed swished against spraying her backside. She knew that her sister got around a lot and knew a lot of people but she didn't really expect for her sister to know someone that lived in the ocean.

"Please don't think me brazen but a Lord deserves a Lady and not a Princess. You do know that in the history books it is Lord and Lady. King and Queen. Prince and Princess." Out of habit she whickered. "I can be your Lady." Her voice was gentle and a touch on the naive side.

That sounded easy enough. Lucifel did as instructed. Hand in hand she walked them into the water. This was about the calmest she'd been in a very, very long time with the exception of with Lily had, had enough and needed a moment. However, you could tell that she was about ready to explode from containing herself and her need to be hyper.

He gave a nod of his head, "We met once a while back." He explained, thinking on that time. It was one of very few meetings that took place far from his watery realm, back when his guardian had still been dragging him around, before Leviathan took control of his own life and moved into the water to live on his own. At least on his own until he picked up Guppy by accident. Well his item on purpose since he'd stolen it but the person that came from it on accident.

"Is that so? It might be easier to find a lady then a princess, they seemed to be a rather rare species these days. We dragons have an affinity for them and the overwhelming desire to go out and steal them for ourselves but... its proving exceedingly difficult for me to find one to steal." He told the little pony before laughing, "Is that so? You would volunteer? Its pretty noble of you to offer yourself up to become my Lady." It was worth consideration though if nothing else. He found it a little amusing that the ones he found himself liking most when it came to his Ladies that they had hooves. Or at least this one did in this form.

Guppy followed along after her, out into the deeper water. He wasn't worried in the least since he swam here all the time and having Leviathan around meant that nothing dangerous dared to enter his section of the water as it would see as though everything knew that coming into his territory meant that he might eat it. Even a shark that had come into this area had been turned into food. Then again it had been a smaller scale version of a shark then those that Guppy had seen from a distance. Once the water was deep enough he went under and awaited his new companion beneath the ocean's surface.

"If you like I can tell her you said hello and perhaps next time she can come with me when I come to see you. That is if you want to see me again," it was in her features that she was smiling.

"Yes I'd volunteer. I like you. Go on ahead and search all you want for that perfect princess but never will you find one that can compare to me. You know they say that all Unicorns are of noble birth and that we are some of the purist creatures." Her ears flickered. "There isn't a princess out there that can say she is as pure as me." It was at that moment that she looked him the eyes. Her eyes were large and held innocence and wonderment in them. It was also easy to tell just how naive she was. She didn't care if she came from some DVD she was what she was.

Lucifel who wasn't water equipped past the gifted scale took her time. She was sure that if she had had fins it would probably have been a lot easier. However, she was making due with what she had and was doing her best to quickly catch up with Guppy who had let go of her hand. About mid way she stopped just to stare. It was almost hard to grasp that there was an something like an entirely different world down her. "WOW!"

Leviathan seemed to debate over this for a long moment before slowly nodding his head, "Sure, tell her I said 'Hello'," It wouldn't be to bad were that cute redhead to decide to come visit he thought to himself, the end of his tail swishing a bit before he looked over at Amelia and then starred at her for a long moment then nodded slowly, "Sure, I never said that I didn't want you to come and visit me again." In fact given that she was a lady of sorts, even if she was a little one shaped like a pony, he was still inclined to favoring her. It helped that she seemed to know a lot about unicorns and was able to hype them up enough that it made Leviathan rather like the idea of being able to have one all his own.

Guppy looked over to where Lucifel was and smiled a bit when it seemed that she was enjoying the ability to go underwater in such a fashion. He swam over to her, making a circle around her before pointing, "Near to here is a good place to collect pretty shells if you want to go and look." He said, "There are some clams as well that sometimes have pearls, maybe your luck will help you find one." He suggested the course of action if she wanted to do more then just swim around.

Amelia let out a giggle that sound more like a whinny. She was actually delighted that Levi had taken to her. She stood up and shook. For her size, the water spray wasn't able to go far. Despite the on coming waves she took a couple of steps forward in an attempt to get closer to Levi. There wasn't any reason to have a considerable bit of difference between them... after all she wasn't scared.

Lucifel liked shells. She wasn't sure about the pearls... she knew they were expensive. She thought of her Lily. Almost sure her Lily would like a pearl or a pretty shell or both she nodded her head and clapped. She was all for this 'hunt'. "My luck has never failed me. I'm sure we'll find you a pretty shell or pearl as well."

The sea serpent shifted slightly so that he could get a better look at Amelia, watching her as she approached in a careful manner as he didn't want to see her get swept up in the waves. He wouldn't claim to be the nicest person in the world but when he decided that he liked someone he would look after them. Amelia was one he'd decided that he liked, as such he would keep the ocean from taking what was his. He lifted himself up on his coils to watch the girl then smiled at her, "Be careful now, don't want to see a wave try to snag you." He warned her, not that he thought that this section of water would be daring enough to try to steal from him since it was part of his territory.

Guppy smiled before he started forward to where the rocky outcropping was, he didn't think that Leviathan would mind him giving away one shell if he made sure to find something good for his Lord in exchange. It would have to be something good though, a really pretty shell or a nicely formed pearl. Either way he had to find some sort of offering to give to him... it would be worth it though, and the possible scolding, to be allowed to hang out with someone as nice as Lucifel was, "Here, right around in this area." He said as he reached the rocky area first and waited for the green haired girl to catch up.

In her features it showed that Amelia was touched that someone other than family cared about her. She got a warm fuzzy feeling from it. She was half tempted to look back and see if her sister was still about and was okay but decided against it. Her sister was older and had a knack for taking care of herself... besides she was was to hyper. "I promise to be careful," she said as she tucked her legs under her so that she could return to her previous position. Being close enough to touch the serpent made her feel safe and secure. Now that she was closer she could see how beautiful and shiny he really was. Had she had hands she'd have reached out to touch him. "You're gorgeous," she only know the later word because of Tori. Her ears flickered.

Lucifel didn't waste any time in following Guppy. She amazed at how well he knew this area, but didn't express it... because it was quiet silly... after all he probably swam often in this area of the ocean. As she came up beside him she could already see the pretty collection of shells. It was almost unnatural how they were all gathered her, but she didn't question. It was beautiful and she happy to be here. "This place is really something," she finally said after a moment of taking it all in. "Do you generally have luck finding pretty shells or pearls?"

Watching the manner in which the unicorn laid down in the water closer to him Leviathan shifted his coils once more so that they made a loop around her, creating a bit of a protective barrier between her and the rest of the ocean. He was a bit glad that his General wasn't around today or else he might end up looking a touch foolish protecting a little pony in such a manner, given that the only one around seemed to be busy and not much of a threat anyway the sea dragon was able to relax despite the fact that he was lounging with such a creature.
Upon being complimented Levi's lips turned up into a bit of a grin, "I am glad you agree." He said, not one to think anything but exactly that about himself. Narsassitic? Maybe a little...

Guppy looked at the gathering of shells that Lucifel found, starring at them wide eyed, then looked over at her and shook his head, "No luck... though when I do find pretty shells they go to Leviathan since he is the Lord of this section of ocean." He explained, knowing that if he found something and tried to keep it that the Sea Lord wouldn't be to terribly happy. Besides if it meant rising in the ranks of Leviathan's army and becoming more then just a servant he didn't mind giving the dragon all the treasures he found.

Amelia let out a content sigh. Now that Levi's coils were around her and kept the waves off of her she could more enjoy the water. She was so small that it was easy to get hit by the smallest wave. Her ears flickered when she felt the ocean breeze. Yes, she could easily repeat today day after day after day. "What do you do all day?" She asked curiously before she got caught up in being comfortable.

Lucifel crossed her arms, but kept kicking her legs every so often to 'stay put'. "Really! Guppy that is just silly. If you give everything away then you have nothing for yourself... Surely you must have at least one shell." She uncrossed her arms and swam towards the pile. "If I find three then we can each have one," she said with a nod of her head. Though her shell would go to LyLy.

He shifted so that he was laying on his back next to his ring of coils, arms crossed behind his head and he seemed to think about the question for a moment, "Normal dragon things, I hunt, find treasure, patrol my territory, steal princesses, get into battles, and laze in the sun with my General." He said, his wing fins giving a lazy little flap in the water. He was comfortable at the moment and saw no need to move, especially given he had some interesting company to talk with. It was turning out to be a good day.

Guppy flushed a little before following along after her, looking at the shells that she found before giving a smile, "If you think so." Aside from the jewelry and the small weapon he came with Guppy had nothing else of his own, didn't really want anything that he could think of. In fact he was rather content with just trying to get stronger and prove himself to Leviathan. At the same time a shell gifted to him from a girl would be nice.

Two Princess Invaders: Part Three

Amelia in all honesty was going to comment on Levi and his lair ordeals but then her sister took center stage all over again... There was something between a humph and a whicker. It wasn't that she was typically a jealous person, it was just that Lucifel was there in your face all the dang time. There wasn't a moment that you didn't know she was there when she was there. Her ears flickered as she looked towards her sister... Yes, she much preferred Tori.

Lucifel of course didn't notice anything different of her sister. She knew her sister to be quiet and shy and hardly out going... unless of course it involved butterflies or other equines. "Go on," she whispered as she gently nudged Guppy. They after all hadn't worked so hard while having so much fun for nothing... she did after all set out to help please Levi on Guppy's behalf. Her hand remained tightly wrapped around her own shell, the one she refused to give up because she was going to give it to her LyLy.

Leviathan heard the sound that Amelia made in her throat and he couldn't help but to give a bit of a chuckle, finding it rather... amusing. His attention was on her for only a moment before he looked back to Guppy and his green haired companion. Normally he would be all for trying to steal the girl as his own but oddly enough he didn't moved to much and felt no urge to do so since he had his unicorn.

Guppy looked over at Lucifel as he got nudged forward before he reached under his scale to fetch the pearl he'd tucked there, the one that Lucifel had found before he held it out to Lord Leviathan. He was completely silent as the sea dragon looked the item that was being held out to himself before he finally reached out to take it from him, looking it over and nodded his approval which drew a sighing sound of relief from Guppy. He took a step back, "We found a couple shells... is it... is it alright for Lucifel to keep them?" He asked uncertainly.

Leviathan looked his pearl over before he turned to look at the green haired girl thoughtfully then nodded, "I suppose that would be alright since you brought me this gift." He said after a long, drawn out moment of debate. He supposed a couple of shells would be alright since he got a better treasure in return.

Amelia felt a slight bit of hurt. She couldn't help but to feel her sister was trying to out do her. These were not feelings that she generally felt or expressed. For the most part she remained oblivious to anything but good and happy. She looked towards the sea oats just in time to see a butterfly. Smiling, she stretched out her hands. The butterfly taking to the offer flew from the oats to her hand. She hummed softly and let this be 'her world' until her new friend Levi was finished with her sister.

Lucifel did her best to not roll her eyes. Her luck was as natural as breathing to her so it wasn't as if she had to work all that hard to find the pearl or the shells but, still... She didn't say anything about her shell or Guppy's but she did search around for the one that she was going to give Levi. And, after a moment she held it out. "Here," she said. Her voice held a tone that said she wouldn't take no for an answer.

Leviathan sat up a bit when another gift, a shell this time, was offered to him. It was an interesting shell but he had to admit the one the unicorn gave him was likely his favorite since it looked like something that could be dangerous and used for something more then just looking pretty. Nevertheless he still accepted the one that Lucifel gave him since he was weak to the giving of gifts, "Thank you." He said, looking it over before he gave a grin. What a good day, to get a whole bunch of gifts as well as his own unicorn! It was easy to tell from the look on his face that he was in a very good mood.

"The sun will set soon. We have a bit of a walk ahead of us," Amelia said softly as she looked away from the butterfly and towards Levi, Guppy, and her sister. "Our daddy will be displeased if we miss curfew."

Lucifel had indeed lost track of time while swimming with Guppy. She was a little glad that her sister point this out to her. She turned and hugged her new green friend. On land she had more force than in the water, and she nearly knocked them over in her excitement.

Amelia held out her hand to Levi so that he could see the butterfly. She let out a happy little whinny. "Another sunny day?" She asked in regards to coming again.

Leviathan was a touch disappointed to hear those words though he figured they would be leaving eventually, that she sounded like she wanted to come back again though perked him up though, "I would like that, the next time its sunny you should come and visit me again." He told her, lifting one scaly hand to ruffle her hair before his attention turned to Guppy who was nearly being knocked over by the over exuberant girl before giving a chuckle. He rose up on his coils and helped Amelia up to he feet, "I look forward to it so don't forget."

Guppy could only stare, shocked, as he found himself swept up into such a hug. It was rather nice he thought to himself, fins wiggling happily, "It was nice swimming with you." He said, returning the hug before he stepped back away from her and smiled, "I hope we can do it again sometime."

Something about having her hair ruffled made her rub against his hand, she was mindful of her horn. The last thing she wanted to do was hurt Levi. It was almost like being scratched just behind the ears. She whickered happily and all too soon it was over, but she didn't pout because he was helping her up. "I won't forget," Amelia whispered as she looked him in the eyes.

"Lots of fun!" Lucifel clapped and giggled. "I'd love to come swimming again!" It was a heck of a lot easier to tell just how hyper she was not that they weren't swimming. There was certainly nothing calm about the green girl. "Come on Amelia," she said as she reached out for her sisters hand.

Amelia gave it the once over and shook her head. Within the next couple of steps she was a unicorn, prancing merrily in the sand. She was rather proud of herself to have gotten the better of her sister. She looked behind her and winked at Levi.

"Oh no you didn't," Lucifel groaned and ran to catch up with her sister... completely forgetting about her sisters dress.

Leviathan watched as the unicorn girl assured him that she wouldn't forget before turning around to head on her way with her sister and much to his amusement she seemed to walk out of her dress in the unicorn shape again which caused him to chuckle, "She really was a wonderful find." He murmured, glancing over at Guppy for a long moment before he crossed his arms over his chest, "You had better of enjoyed yourself as you are going to have a lot of work today to make up for spending so much time playing." He scolded his servant.

Instantly the fish boy was nodding his head, not about to argue that Leviathan had been preoccupied as well with the unicorn girl as he knew that arguing with Leviathan in any matter was about the same as arguing with a brick wall, it just didn't work and it was a waste of time. Better that he get a jump on the chores that he was going to be assigned today instead since he was certain that they were going to be hard and likely mind numbing since the Ocean Lord always had the most fun assigning that sort to him.

An Outing with the General

It had been a while since Arlen had been out and about on his own, as he had been spending time with his siblings as he found them all interesting and fun to watch interact with each other. Running around to get the kinks out of his legs as most of his running around had been for hunting and this time it was for pure pleasure. Thinking on it he though it would be good to go into town to get something sweet as one of the trips had found his stash of candy and ate it all and Arlen decided that he would just do that as he ran towards town, decided on what type of candies that he would want and to were he would hide his stash for this next time.

Arlen wasn't the only member of Leviathan's group out today, another, the Zora boy called among many other things 'Guppy' was out and about on an errand for his Master. It was one that seemed easy enough to finish. He was heading out from the ocean to a pawn shop that Leviathan dealt with from time to time, selling items that they found in the ocean to trade for other things. There was something he was supposed to look for after getting the cash for the items he was told to bring in to sell. A gift for the deer princess Tyyne, it seemed that his Master was trying to impress the girl. He'd met her for only a short amount of time so he hadn't learned much of her, only that Levi liked her.

He shifted the bag he was holding over his shoulder, eyes half closed as he walked forward toward where the shop was knowing that it would be open for only a few hours more. He would need to walk a bit faster but the feel of the rough pavement on his fin like feet he didn't care for. He pushed himself to run a bit faster, so that he could get off the cement sooner then later.

It wasn't too long that Arlen saw that he was coming into town as he had gone the long way around as to get most of his pent up energy out. Adjusting his speed and food fall for payment as he didn't want to fall at the speeds that he was going at as that would really hurt and he didn't need to get hurt just in case his Lord needed him for battle or something. As he didn't want to show anyone a sign of weakness, he wanted to be tough and others to know that he would be a force to reckoned with.

Once coming into town he really looked around as he slowed down to know were he was and to account for that now there were more people about that could trip him up and he didn't want that, or he just might have to gore that person for doing that. Just then Arlen spotted the Zora boy that he had met when he had gone and seen his Lord Leviathan and found that he wasn't too bad of a kid and then remembered that he was also to train up the Zora kid as well. Running up towards the Zora and then once there matching his pace with Guppy. "So how you be, Guppy. Need any help?" Arlen asked as it was defiantly out of character when he was with Levi, but then Arlen was always somewhat different without his Lord, much more friendly, but still had Levi's ideals at heart.

Guppy gave a jump hearing one of his many nicknames, turning his head to the side, and nearly tripped over his own feet as he saw the one standing there, "G-General Arlen." He said, bowing his head in a polite manner then dropped his gaze so that he wouldn't appear as though he were starring at him which would be rude of him, "How are you doing today?" Help? Did their Master send Arlen to aid him because he didn't think that he would be able to go about this task on his own? He sure hoped not...

"I should be alright, dropping some stuff we found off at the pawn shop. How about you?" He asked, wondering if Arlen would tell him if Leviathan had sent him here to keep an eye on Guppy or not.

Arlen just smiled as he did find it a little weird to hear someone else call him General, but that is what he was and was very proud of that fact. "I'm doing good and that is good," Arlen answered as he thought on the last part as it had been awhile since seeing Levi and thought that sometime soon he would have to go and see his Lord. "Mostly just running around to keep in shape as I have been spending too much time watching my siblings play with each other as its very entertaining. I thought I would come into town from my house to get some candy as one of my siblings found my stash and ate it all," he said as his tail swished back and forth behind him. "So how is Lord Leviathan? I haven't seen him for a while?" Arlen asked as it was good to know what there Lord was doing.

Guppy listened very carefully, as though the raptor general was speaking of the most important things ever or at least things that he should be listening to with the utmost care. He didn't want, after all, to seem in anyway as though he were ignoring him, "That is interesting, I must say I am a little curious about what siblings might be like as I have met a couple of people who have them." Then again he'd met people who had parents instead of a Lord and real names instead of just nicknames, also things he had a bit of curiosity for.

"He is fairing quite well despite the changes in the air, it seems the cold doesn't bother him to terribly much which is most impressive. He said, giving a nod, "I am on this errand for him, dropping off things that were lost in the ocean that will be worth a fair amount. He then wants for me to find a gift for one of his princesses."

"They are interesting, as they are triplet kitsunes and there is never a dull moment around the house with them around. Maybe one day you will meet them, but for now they stick close to home," Arlen said as he did think to at least bring one or more to meet Levi once they had gotten older and Tireu to let them out and see if they wanted to go hunting and such. "Well siblings can be fun but there are times when they can be a pain," he added.

"That is good, tho I think once it gets more colder I think that me running around would be interesting," he said as he thought of the ice and how even that was going to be a hazard. "Cool and that is very interesting. Well lets get going and make our Lord happy," Arlen said as he took some of the things that Guppy was carrying to make it easier on the Zora as he thought that he was a good kid and he thought with a little training a good warrior.

Guppy gave a nod, "If I am able to do so I would like to meet them one day." He said, not wanting to ask outright if he could but he would kind of see what triplets were like. He gave a smile and started to walk forward once more alongside the raptor general, leading the way as he wasn't sure if General Arlen knew where the pawn shop was at, "After I am done with my task at the pawn shop do you require company during your errand, General?" He asked, glancing over toward Arlen for a moment before his fins twitched, hoping that didn't seem to forward of him.

Arlen smiled as he though of Guppy and the triplets meet as that would be fun. "Well when you do meet any of them they do like to trick others and I will say that looks can be deserving," he said to how the trips could change there gender and to Mana that liked to copy how you look if it were worth stealing. "Sure company is always fun and it would be a good time to get to know you as well as one day I will have to start your training and you always don't have to call me general, Arlen works," he said with a smile as he followed Guppy to the pawn shop to were he could get his task done.

"I will keep that in mind for when I am given the great opportunity to meet them." He said with a smile, wondering what the three might be like if they were the sort who like to trick and deceive. Really it sounded as though they were the sort that Leviathan would really, really like if that was their attitudes. He smiled when Arlen said that he would like him around then gave a small wince when he mentioned training, he'd had one bout of training with Leviathan and he couldn't say that it had really gone that well, had it? He gave a little sigh before continueing along.

"I hope to be one day good enough to be more to Lord Leviathan then just a servant but I fear at times I might not be good enough." He murmured, worry heavy in his tone as he confessed such a thing to the General.

"That is a good idea," Arlen answered as his own view of things because of them were a touch weird especially when it came to gender. Arlen had to giggle as it knew it wasn't nice to laugh at people but the look was a great one and he only guessed on what the wince was for. "Well for my training would mostly be for knowledge on weapons mostly and other thinks that I would know and you would want to know about. As having good brains is a good weapon along with body and other hand held weapons, but that is for later lets just enjoy the day and also have some fun too," Arlen said.

"Well if that is what you wish then don't let it go as to life there are always ups and downs. Just keep moving forward to the best of your abilities and one day you just might be more," he said to lighten the mood as he still might be a kid himself but there were thinks that he did know or learn from Tireu.

Guppy nodded his head, growing thoughtful about what he was saying, glad to hear that with him all he would be learning was knowledge of weapons. That could be rather useful since all he used the dagger at his side for was to pry open clams or otherwise deal with simple tasks like that. Actually fighting with it was a whole other thing entirely and a whole different thing that he had yet to figure out, "All training would be well appreciated, General." He murmured, giving a polite bow of his head.

The advice give to him caused the Zora to smile, fins giving a slight twitch, "I will do my best." He said, then motioned to a brightly colored store with lots of signs in the window, "That's the one we are going to." He said, glad when to see that it was open as well as glad to know that inside the floor was carpeted, something that would be good on his feet.

Arlen smiled when he heard that Guppy would like the training as he thought that it would mostly be knowledge based for now, but later on there were going from knowledge to practicing with ones that Guppy wanted to learn more about but that was way later on he thought to himself still smiling.

"That is good as I wouldn't expect nothing less as it will be fun at the same time too," he said as he thought it was better to reward on the good. "Ok," he replied as Arlen looked the store over as it was a definitely a store that he had never been in and thought that there might be something worth while in there and maybe to come back at a later date too as he spotted some sparkly things in the window. 'Lead on as I have never been here before," he said as for right now Guppy was his teacher for now in this new place.

"Its a shop that Lord Leviathan finds to be quite useful." After all who else would want to buy a bunch of used junk lost at sear aside from this place? That Leviathan was able to gather things so easily from the ocean as well made doing so quite a lucrative business. There was a happy sound from the fish boy as he stepped inside, shifting his feet on the soft carpet which was far easier on his fin like feet then the rough cement ever was, "I will talk with the one in charge if you would like to look around, General Arlen. If you see anything befitting of a deer princess please let me know."

Listening intently to what the Zora was saying as not to be rude but he also found it all interesting. Walking in Arlen looked around to find all different type of stuff on the inside of this pawn shop and found that there would be some stuff here that Tireu would love to have in his collections of rocks. "Ok and I can do that," he replied to guppy as Arlen looked around more to see if he could find anything. But then got to thinking that what would the deer princess like. Thinking on that for a bit and then thought that something like something for her hair or something nice to wear, he thought as he looked around if there would be anything good.

It took a short amount of time of haggling between the Zora and the human before they came to a good price, it would appear that Guppy was actually pretty sharp when it came to money and how much things were worth, more from reading the expressions of the human then any innate talent like Leviathan did. He wasn't about to allow himself to be given to low an offer as he didn't want to end up losing out on money rightfully belonging to Leviathan since that might end up with him getting into a lot trouble.

He looked over the money he was given before it was hidden under his scales and he hurried over to where General Arlen was, "I got a pretty good deal on the stuff I brought in." He said in a happy manner, his fins wiggling in a rather happy manner. He was never happier then when he was able to serve Leviathan well, wanting nothing more then to impress him as well as those who served him.

Arlen was impressed but then he wasn't all that good at haggling or knowing what things were worth as he just intimidated anyone that he thought was a bad deal until he got what he wanted, he did have his own weapons attached to him, as he wiggled his big toes and sorta cutting the carpet a little with the action. "That is very good, tho I haven't found anything good but then I don't really know what would be good for the deer princess," he said as he was looking over some nice looking bracelets.

"I'm sure either... what do deer like I wonder." He murmured, seeming to be thinking hard on the idea. They lived in the forest didn't they? So perhaps something like that? Something... something, "Maybe something with like... a leaf pattern since they live in the woods? Ahh... I mean that deer do." He wondered if the deer princess did as well... it was a good question, one that he bet Lord Leviathan would love to know as well since it would aid him in capturing his princess more often.

He moved closer to the case that Arlen was looking into, to see if there was anything there that might appeal to a forest dweller.

Arlen started to giggle as he know what he would like in a deer to eat them as they were really tasty. "Well I will admit that I do like eating deer," replied still giggling. "I think is a good idea," he replied giggling less now. Looking more for something that would be good for the princess. Looking carefully he did spot a few things in the case that would look good. "I think that on that shelf there is something that looks to be foresty," Arlen said as he pointed it out to Guppy. As he did spot something that was green. "Over there its not foresty but its a nice shade of green," he added pointing to the pendent that looked to be made of something green colored and he was betting it was stone, but wasn't total sure.

Guppy's eyes widened slightly before he laughed, "Ahhh, I see." He murmured, unable to help but to find amusement in that. Likely the princess of the deer population wouldn't like the idea of someone who ate her people he thought to himself but somehow it was a little amusing to have that hunter picking out a present for her. He looked at what he was pointing at, a rather pretty green stone pendant. He wondered if that would be something Lord Leviathan's princess would like, he hoped so.

"I wonder if we should get it." He murmured, leaning in closer to look the price over, it seemed a fair enough price for something so pretty he thought to himself and he did have more then enough on him that he should be able to get it and still have more then enough to please Lord Leviathan.

"Well I will still eat deer, but not around the princess. As I wouldn't want to scare her but maybe some time I should take you out hunting and see what you think of it," Arlen suggested as he though it would be a good learning opportunity as it was always good to know lots of places to get good food.

"I think that it would be nice and if our Lord has a problem with it just say that you ran into me and I help pick it out. As one can never have too many lovely things as I know he has nice things in his hoard," he replied as he thought to were they would go next and he thought going to a cafe to get something sweet and then off to the candy store to were he could get his candy hoard back for home.

He gave a nod of his head as he moved back over to once more talk with the man that was in charge of the place to explain that they had found what they were looking for in the pendant. There was a bit of haggling, because Guppy felt that while the price was fair he could get it for less, before he handed over some money to the man. The pendant was put inside of the bag that the fish boy was carrying before he turned to look over at General Arlen, "Alright, I'm ready!" He said, giving him a smile.

"Alrighty, lets go," Arlen replied with a nod of his head as he walked out of the pawn shop and took a few seconds to get his bearings to the little cafe that he had seen the other day. "Before we go to the candy store I want to take you out to this little cafe and see what you think of it," Arlen said as he was going to take the Zora there weather or not as he just needed an excuse to go as he just felt so weird to go in a place like that alone, but then it was just him.

Guppy tilted his head to one side, fins giving a little twitch before nodding his head, "Sure! I would like to take a peek." That he was being allowed to take a look at such a thing was quite exciting really, it felt as though he'd been invited along on an important mission by General Arlen and as such was eager to go to the cafe to see what it was like inside. He'd never been to a cafe before, how exciting!

"Its not to far from here and I do hear that it a good place to hang out and such from some of the locals," he murmured as his tail swayed behind him.

It didn't take them long to get the the cafe and a good stroke of luck on there part it didn't look to busy to day as it had been the people Arlen didn't like as he didn't really want to get them hurt with his claws if someone ran into him. Walking into the cafe one could smell all the rich coffees and sweets that they were keeping on hand as Arlen too a deep breath in to smell all the nice smells. "Ah, it smell good in here," he said as he looked at the menu for something that would be good to eat. "Also you can pick out something you would like to eat, drink or both and it will be my treat,"

The small Zora with the pink fins moved over to stand nearer to General Arlen as they stepped into the new place, looking around with wide eyes, then started to sniff at the air. It smelled rather good in here, didn't it? So nice that his fins were all but wagging as he looked around himself, "I agree, it does smell nice." He murmured before he looked at the menu for a moment before his eyes got quite wide, "A-Ah... Really? Are you sure?" He asked, sounding quite surprised over the idea that the General would share food and drink with him in such a way, not only to buy it for him but to eat it with him... it was just plain amazing! A very wonderful and humbling experience.

Arlen had to smile as a good general would never belittle those that were below him as it in general wasn't nice and you don't get loyal soldiers by being mean you get them by being nice, as he learned that by reading a book and it was humbling to him and fun to share with Guppy. "Yes I'm very sure. As it always nice to have fun day," he said as he smiled with his tail swaying.

Guppy seemed to think over what it was that Arlen was saying before he gave a nod of his head, "Thank you." He murmured, glad that he would be able to share a snack with the General before he found himself looking up at the menu once more, trying to decide on what he thought there was up there that looked good. He had to admit to himself that most everything sounded good and the scents in this place only backed that thought up, "I'm... not quite sure what I should get, it all smells so good." He said finally, finding himself quite curious about what General Arlen might be getting himself.

It wasn't often that Arlen would eat things that were cooked as he liked his meals bloody and warm, but thinks that were sweet were just so good and he made an exception to that. Looking over the menu one more time he finaly made up his mind to what he wanted and walked up to the person that was waiting patiently for them to order. "I would like a chocolate tart and a berry smoothie to go with it and I will be paying for the both of us," he said to the clerk as Arlen stepped aside for Guppy to make his order.

It was suddenly his turn and Guppy could for a moment only stare up at the one that was awaiting his order, eyes going a little wide before looking at the menu again, "Ahh... umm... a muffin, blueberry flavored and..." His eyes went over to looking at the drink list, "And some apple juice." Both of those things sounded nice so he ordered them. While the things that Arlen had ordered sounded interesting he wasn't sure what a tart or a smoothie was so best he stick with the ones that were easy to understand names wise.

Arlen payed for there snacks and a few minutes later the clerk passed over all of what they had ordered. Arlen picked up his and motioned to Guppy to do the same. "So any place that you would like to sit down and eat?" Arlen asked as he didn't mind to were they sat. As he also wanted to know more about Guppy as it would be a good thing without there Lord around.

Doing as he was told to do Guppy picked up the covered cup and the muffin before following after Arlen, finding himself looking around when he was asked if there was a place he wanted to sit and eat. He thought on it long and hard before shaking his head, "No place in particular." He said, figuring that anywhere would be fine for them to sit at. He wondered if there was any place that might be better then the rest of the seats in this cafe.

Looking around to see that there were a pair of soft-padded chairs that had a little coffee table in between then. "I think that those soft ones look great," he said as he walked over to them and sat down taking a sip of his berry smoothie. "So is there anything that you want to talk about?"

Guppy nodded before he moved over toward the seats, only settling down in his after Arlen had decided which of the two he wanted to sit in himself. He lifted his muffin up to peel back the paper on it before he paused a moment before biting into it, "Talk about?" He asked, seeming to think about that for a moment. Was there anything to talk about? He found himself considering a few things but he didn't want to risk saying anything wrong that might end getting back to Lord Leviathan, "I can't say for certain, what about you General Arlen?"

Taking a bite of his tart as he thought on what to talk about as Guppy would learn out someday that this Arlen was a different Arlen that he met on the beach, taking another bite. "How about what you like? I like running around, hunting, learning about different types of rocks and weapons," he said as he thought some more. "Also what type of abilities do you have, as I have natural weapons on my hands and feet, that I'm a hunter and can run really fast," Arlen added as he just wanted to get to know Guppy.

Guppy listened to what he was saying, then thought on it a moment, "I like to swim, I am pretty good at it and I can breath under water as well." He said, fins giving a twitch for a moment before he took a bite out of his muffin, chewed, then swallowed it, "I also like music, I would like to get an instrument of my own someday." That part was said quietly as he didn't want to sound as though he were needy or anything, it was just one thing he would like for himself one day. Maybe after he'd proven himself to Lord Leviathan he would be allowed such a thing all for himself.

Arlen listen to what Guppy had to say and he did have to smile a little to liking music and wanting to get an instrument of his own. "Well there is a saying that music calms the savage beast," he said as he thought that maybe Lord Levi would like music, but that was something that he didn't know. Drinking more of his smoothie as he ate the last of his tart. "So is there any type of candy that you like?' he asked as he did wonder to why Levi called Guppy, Guppy as he thought that maybe the Zora had another name that he had yet to hear, but didn't know if it was not rude to ask.

The Zora boy seemed to think about that for a moment before giving a little laugh, "I wonder if Lord Leviathan would like it if I played for him... I do want to figure out something that would make him more useful for him then being just a fetch and carry sort of servant." He murmured, his fins giving a little twitch. He seemed to consider this idea, it was a nice one... he would like to be able to play for his Lord if that would make him happy.

"Candy? Ahh... I can't say I know, I can't say I have had much in the way of candy before." He said, giving a little smile and scratched the back of his head fin.

"That is something that I don't know, but it could be found out as I do like some types of music as they are nice to go to sleep with," Arlen replied as he thought of the sounds of the ocean he had and played it when he had a hard time sleeping. "That is something that you could reach for!" Arlen stated at it was always good to have something to work towards and Arlen did hope that he could accomplish it.

"Well you are missing out as its very good as there are all different types of Candy, hard, soft, sweet, sour and I could go on as they all taste so very different. Well once we are done here I thought that it would be good to go to the Candy store as well," he said as he did have a big sweet tooth and he didn't mind share one bit.

Guppy Returns Successful?

Guppy had returned back to the beach with the green pendant in hand that was meant for the deer princess along with the cash that was left over after he'd bought it. It was a pretty thing, he was pretty certain that it was some sort of stone or another, nothing really expensive but it was natural and really pretty! He hoped that, because it was green, that it would be something that the deer princess would like. He couldn't say that he knew any princess or any deer so he had no idea what things that either might enjoy... it was a guess on the part of the Zora but he hoped that it was a guess that would end up right. So long as Lord Leviathan approved he would be happy, even more so if it turned out that it was something the princess enjoyed.

As he stepped into Leviathan's territory he nearly sighed in relief as he much preferred the feel of the sand under his fin feet, far better then the rough concrete he'd had to deal with on the way here that was for sure. He trudged across the beach and toward the sparkling water that was reflecting the sun that was over head and he couldn't help but to want to just flop over into it and lay there for a while, enjoying the cool water. As he got to the edge of the ocean though, just as he had almost expected, Leviathan surfaced and came over toward him, "Your looking rough around the edge Shark Bait." He said in that friendly sort of tone that that he always used when there was something that Guppy had that he wanted.

The Zora starred up at him for a long moment before he lifted up his hands to present the pendant to him, "This is what I found for your Deer Princess." He said with a bit of a smile, "Since deer are forest creatures I was thinking maybe she would like something green." He told the sea dragon before he stood there, awaiting the verdict to come down from on high.

Leviathan's scaly hand reached out to snag the item, lifting it up to look it over, sniffing at it, and seemed to be determining what it was exactly. It was real, that was good, a rather nice and flawless stone that was carved into an interesting sort of design. He had no idea what the pattern might stand for but it was something that looked pretty enough. The cord that it was on was a simple one made of some sort of cloth or another, nothing fancy but still not to bad. As much as he hated to admit it the fish head had done well enough with the task that he had assigned to him, "I am surprised, Fish Face, you actually did quite well in finding something good for my princess." He said, the end of his tail wagging as he thought about her, about the deer girl that he had claimed as his own during their last run in. His lips turned up into a smile, "Since you did so well I will allow you to make a request, anything at all, and I will try to grant it for you... so long as its within reason that is."

Guppy seemed to be thinking on that. To be allowed to request anything at all within reason was a rather good offer to get from Leviathan, there were so many things that came to mind that he could ask for but one thing above all others came to mind and stuck there. His fins gave a twitch before he gave a slow smile and a nod, "I know what I want." He said, a bit of a smile appearing on his lips as he looked up toward the one that was awaiting his decision, "I want to head into the nice, cool water of the ocean and nap for a while... the journey to town and back was tiring and my feet kind of ache."

The sea dragon once more looked surprised. That was it? He was given such a golden opportunity to ask for anything he wanted, anything at all, and he'd asked for that? He gave a shrug of his shoulders as he wasn't about to argue with him, "Alright, feel free to go and nap then." He said, giving a smile. Nothing better then a request that was both easy to fulfill and required nothing on Leviathan's part. His exotic colored eyes watched as the Zora trudged at a slow pace into the water and dove under the moment it was deep enough, heading toward his favorite spot to sleep before his attention was back on the necklace, happily inspecting it once more as he tried to picture the look that might appear on the face of his deer princess when he handed it over to her. It would be wonderful he was sure, he kind of hoped that there would be some blushing involved. Just the mere thought of Tyyne's blushing face had the sea dragon all but purring as he to headed into the water.

Reserved for Guppy and the Conch Shell

There was a shell that Guppy found on the beach that was like no other shell that he'd ever run across before. Not only was it much bigger but there was just something about it that the Zora instantly liked. It wasn't any different in color then other shells he'd seen before so he knew that it wasn't that, so what was it? He lifted the item up after rinsing it clean in the ocean and looked it over, "Neat." He murmured, running his hand over the surface of the item, it really was pretty wasn't it? The best part about it was that it was chipped, being imperfect meant that Lord Leviathan wouldn't want anything to do with the shell meaning that he could keep it for himself! The Zora boy was quite excited by the prospect, eager to keep the shell since it seemed to call out to him.

Without even thinking about it he lifted the item up to his lips and blew into it, causing it to release a rather interesting sound as the air flowed through it. He gave a happy sound as he lowered the shell, gazing at it now as though he were completely won over by that single note, "Your a musical shell, aren't you?" He murmured to the item, as though it might answer back, before he lifted it up to try to reproduce the sound which, he was pleased to find, he was able to do a second time. There was something about the shell that Guppy liked and suddenly he realized what it was, the item was like a musical instrument! It wasn't anything fancy like what he'd seen before in the shop windows but it was still rather enjoyable to play.

And play he did, Guppy had always known that he liked music, listening to the sounds of the waves, the wind, the bird as they flew by he was able to hear what sounded to him like music all around him but it really didn't make sense to him until this very moment and now, suddenly, it all made sense to him. He was able to not only hear music but it would seem that he could play it as well. It was simple and it was very basic, beginers stuff but it was still music created by his own two hands just as he'd told Arlen he'd wanted to make! His fins were moving as he played and it almost looked as though he'd gone into a whole other world as he played a song, one that made him feel so happy and for a moment all of his problems seemed to fade away. He no longer minded that he was the low man on the totem pole when it came to Leviathan's army, he no longer minded that he was used as slave labor by the Sea Lord, all that mattered here and now was the sounds that this shell was able to produce.

As he lowered the instrument from his lips he looked out over the sparkling expanse of the sea and for the first time in a long time he felt completely at peace with himself and with the world around him. He hugged the shell to his chest for a moment before he seemed to suddenly recall himself, where he was, what he was supposed to be doing at the moment. He should be cleaning, huh? But even as he moved to do so, the conch shell placed aside where it would be safe and keep from getting lost, the Zora was humming happily to himself. It seemed to make his chores, those of sorting the shells that washed up on the beach into piles of 'Leviathan would want these' and 'Leviathan would want these ejected from his territory' far easier and even almost enjoyable.

By the end of cleaning duty he was singing happily to himself, making up the lyrics as he went along able the sun, the ocean, the sand, shells, everything around him was pulled into the song of his creation.

Below the surface of the water Leviathan watched, listened, and found himself quite pleased with this new skill that Guppy was displaying... musical talent, eh? That was something that he found to be rather useful, one that made gave the fish boy a few bonus points in his mind as well as help to lift his ranking a touch as well.
