Mavican pondered the possibilities for a few moments. Well, he did have a point about hide and seek, she likely would forget about finding him and that would certainly be a bad thing. Sitting down she idly scratched at her ear with a back paw, then set her eyes on Balios once more, tongue lolling out of her mouth. "Let's play more tag." She said with a nod then jumped forward suddenly, tapping his shoulder with her paw before turning and dashing off. "You'll never catch me!"

Glad that they had reached an agreeable arrangement, the dappled pup chased after her, quickly forgetting his bewilderment. This was fun! He couldn't wait to get home and tell the others, although, now he thought of it, he'd have to be careful who he said anything to. Tantalus, for sure, wouldn't care one bit that he'd been playing with a girl, and would probably just make fun of him for it. No...he'd tell Corinth. And maybe Iolaus. They would appreciate this exciting fact -- that Balios had met a girl, and she could play tag -- and might even come play with the two of them next time he came to visit.
Pleased, he added a burst of speed, sprinting after her. His large paws enabled him to run very fast, but he was a bit awkward on them, and nearly stumbled over his limbs a few times as he tried to chase her.

Glancing over her shoulder Mavican noticed that he was getting closer. A bit of panic set in, she didn't want to be caught. So she forced her legs to move faster. Skirting around a large bush Mavican considered hiding, in an attempt to trick him into running past her but she decided to keep going. Besides that bush wasn't big enough to hide her well thanks to her purple pelt. So she kept running hoping to find a hiding place soon as her legs were starting to tire.

Balios was starting to get tired too, but he did have the unfair size advantage to give him a bit of an edge -- after all, the big paws and longer legs covered a bit more ground. "You'd be very well camouflaged if you could find a purple bush!" he called after her, lightly teasing.
