Lucretia could see that Khuluma wanted to come with but she wasn't about to let her new friend die... and it was a possibility if he came with.
"It's okay he won't say no, he will just argue with mother about her making decisions without him. It's normal!" She chuckled as if her parents arguing was just nothing important. It was her life at least it was, she would be off having an adventure soon! Oh she was so excited!
"Don't worry I won't be long, father won't mind too much I have never been much of a warrior." She always wondered if her father liked her less for that. She could fight of course but it just wasn't in her to.
"Anyway be back soon!" She smiled widely before turning and running off. Time to talk to daddy.

He gave a small nod that he understood and with that, the goddess ran off to see her, what he could only assume, was not a very pleasant father. He just hoped that a God whose domain was Conflict wouldn't fight his daughter on this decision and keep her here. It would be a shame if he had to say goodbye and go back to traveling solo again. He really did wish he could go with her as he was a very convincing god, but he was taking her advice on this one and sitting things out.
As he watched her go, he called out after her. "I'll be right here went you get back! Good Luck!!!" He wasn't sure if she heard him as she was getting smaller the further she went. Sighing, he plopped himself down and waited. Just to talk, he closed his eyes and started to repeat a single word. "Please.please.please.please.please." To what deity he was praying to, he didn't know, but he hoped whatever God or Goddess controlled these situations would listen and smile in their favor.

Lucretia heard Khuluma shout good luck and went to see her father. The talk went somewhat like she expected, he threatened to kill Khuluma if anything happened to her. It was all normal and rather expected and of course it all ended up with him allowing her to go as well.
She ran back to Khuluma with a large smile on her face. She was so happy that when she reached him she didn't actually get to say what she wanted, she said a lot of nothing, trying to get the words out before just shouting.
"WE CAN GO!" They were the only words she got out, which was just proof that she should think about what it is she wants to say before she opens her mouth and tries to say something.

She came rushing over that he almost thought her father was chasing her. Seeing that there was no angry God on the horizon, he looked back to see her before him, panting but a smile that cut across her face, teeth wide but a bit winded from running. All her words came out into a excited garble that he had half a mind to just hold her and tell her to take it from the top, but at the words "We Can Go!" he shot up with her, smiling just as wide and stepping in place.
"REALLY?! SO HE WAS OKAY WITH IT? THAT'S GREAT!!" They both stood there, stepping in place, their tails swishing all about, unable to reign in their excitement. "Oh, THIS is so EXCITING! FINALLY, I won't be traveling all by myself. Oh, I had my doubts about you seeing your father, but you, Oh you know how to get your way. I won't forget that. You must have had said something great to get him to let you go. I wish I was there to see it!!" Oh, he was sure it was great!
"We better get going before they change their minds. Come on, Lucretia. The entire WORLD is waiting for us!"

Lucretia smiled and then remembered something.
"Oh he threatened to kill you if I got hurt though, just as a warning." She said it so freely it didn't even sound like a proper threat. Then why would it be? She was all ready to go.
"Oh yes lets go please!!" Lucretia was so excited, she was free to travel and she was going to. She was going to see the world!!

Not wanting to hesitate any longer, he started to trot off with her, only to stop in his place. "Wait. What's this about killing?"
Maybe it was a good thing he didn't meet her father.
