Entry Ten - Fireball Soccer! (It's highly recommended you don't try this yourself in a flammable area. >>; Yes, it's real! Look it up -- it's really spectacular! biggrin )
One of the most, insane yet fun games is Fireball Soccer. It's dangerous, but hey -- that's why we play it in the empty store parking lots. What it is, bluntly, is the game of soccer... Only the ball you play with is lit up and on fire. Yes. fire. From what I know from the person who made the fireball this time, is that he took a real soccer ball and wrapped TONS of tissue paper around it, stopping every now and then to tie it together with rope. The ball then gets soaked for a while in diesel or gasoline... I'm not sure how long, however.
When we're all together, the ball's taken out, lit, and soccer begins! The ball burns for awhile -- this time, it burned for around forty minutes. Despite what many think, the ball's not hot... it's just on fire.
I brought Utsu along, since many of the neighborhood kids have pokemon, though most of them are pretty small. Utsu, I believe, had a blast -- not only was he able to steal the ball a lot, but he scored the most poke-goals! ((A poke-goal is scored when a pokemon gets it in -- mostly the humanoid types do this, as the others usually have too much fun batting the ball around)) Utsu moved quickly -- perhaps I should go into a pokegym and get him to work on that?
At least, tonight he was able to work on not only his speed, but his accuracy and reflexes as well. Tomorrow, I believe I'll take him with me fishing again, then if we're unlucky, we'll wander around town and locate the gym for the day after.
