For those interested PP is releasing a starter set later this year with Khador and Menoth plastic armies in them.
Also, PP is having an IK video game done.

Oh God, I really don't care for video games based on table-top. D&D, for example. I know plenty liked those, but they weren't nearly close to the hype that I had for it...

it seems they are trying to emulate GW with computer games as ads for the tabletop...

The IK video game will be a Dynasty Warrior mass brawler knock-off, not a strategy title.

Dude, what are you talking about? Neverwinter Nights series? Baldur's Gate series? Even D&D: Online isn't bad for a grind based MMO.

These are still WIPs, but I thought I'd post something. So far, I've really liked these two figures, just had problems with certain parts. However, I obviously found fixes for them, starting with this guy's arms and shoulder-spikes. [X] [X]This one wasn't so bad, but I really didn't get much to do with the base itself. Still, it doesn't look TOO bad... [X] [X]

I may end up collecting this game, sounds like its more strategical than Warhammer and with Games workshop's prices rocketing high as ever I am trying to look for alternative wargame addictions. Already started buying Mantic and Waterloo: Warhammer historical games (There's £300s Games workshop could've had if they weren't trying to scare me off with their prices)
Anyways, instead of ranting on any further of my hate for Games workshop now, does anyone know if they're going to make anymore plastic models on Privateer Press for Warmachine and Hordes, sorry but I despise metal figures and can only really consider the game if you can have varied armies of plastic.

Plastics are a long term project and still under a lot of fire from the die-hard Warmahorde fans, as PP once proclaimed to never, ever use puny plastics for their oversized and poorly balanced models. As for the materials used, the plastic used by PP is of the special sort, requiring super glue to properly stick it together. Regular plastic glue won't bond.
You can expect a plastic starter set at the end of this year containing Khador and Menoth forces. Each faction has a named caster, one or two 'jacks and a squad of infantry.

And hopefully cheaper infantry; I understand that the 'Jacks are going to be as pricy as they are, but infantry would be so much better if they where simply plastic and cheap. I have no infantry at all, only 'Jacks and the like.

Ugh, in that case I may never start with Privateer press stuff. Models just aren't worth their prices (Sorry they maybe high detailed and large, but seriously, six guys for something like £20s, forget it) and I'm not up for a company that respects plastic miniatures.

Well, this thread might not have been touched for some time and it might not be a popular game with you guys, but I thought I'd throw some pictures up of my Cygnar anyways:
